This exquisite Toledo Art Steel stool came to us with the seat upholstered in shag carpet. Our competent staff removed the shag carpet. Sanded, stained, and refinished the seat to restore the authentic beauty of the seat. A small area on the edge of the stool seat was damaged by the staples. The damage was sanded smooth and adds a little character to the finished piece- see picture. The base of the stool was very much intact, aside from paint wear, and we have left it original. The top of this Toledo stool was split and beat up when it came to us. Our competent staff reglued. Sanded, stained, and finished the seat. The stool seat does still have some deep scratches from wear and a small saw nick on the side from some incident in the past. The base of the stool was very much intact, aside from paint wear, and we have left it alone. The stool seat measures about 15" in diameter, the foot print of the stool legs are 15" x 15" the stool height adjusts between 33" and 27.5" and the foot rest is 16" in diameter. Industrial Cast Iron Machinist Stool, Steam Punk Classic, Vintage stool No Res!
For your consideration: A very cool looking cast iron industrial stool. It appears to have been pieced together from a plow seat and an antique machinist stool body. Very steam punk. Very industrial. It weighs approximately 50 pounds. The body must be solid cast iron. It has vintage casters that roll well. Only problem is. It appears welded. The seat does not swivel to raise. It is fixed. Maybe rusted, but I cannot seem to make it budge. Perhaps with the right clamps. It is 32" H X 17.5 W(seat) and the widest part of feet is 25" W. Antique Industrial Cast iron & Oak Machinist Drafting Bar Stool Chair W COVER
This antique stool is fresh out of the woodwork and really has the look. I found it in an attic and it belonged to the mans grandfather who was a draftsman. Cast iron with oak seat and back. Mounted on an old shipping box and looks like its been on it forever. I think the coolest thing is the cover. Its nice and worn but very solid and not damaged. It has cool brass eyelets on sides. I peeked under it and the oak seat looks like new under it. Looks like the cover has been on this stool since it was made. I have seen stools like this before but never with a cover on it. There is no damage to the piece at all. No cracks or repairs to wood or cast iron. It swivels and is adjustable. As it stands it is 41" high not counting the base. I'm sure it adjusts higher or lower. The seat is approx. 13" in dia. Total weight is 37.6 lbs. It ... morecan be picked locally here in Rhode Island but I will ship anywhere in the USA. Nice industrial adjustable chair by the Toledo Metal Furniture Company. The back is adjustable up and down along with the height of the chair is also adjustable. As it sits right now it measures 30" from ground to top of the back and the seat is 18" tall. The chair is in overall good condition, there is one small tear on the seat as shown in one of the pictures, otherwise in very good condition.

This one is rare in that it has a leather seat with perforations instead of the conventional wood. Stool is rusty and leather pad is intact but pretty dry. There are miscellaneous scratches and paint drippings. Overall a great piece to restore or use as steampunk.

Great original set of industrial stools. Based on style. Color, and design, I'd say these were probably made by Lyon. They are fully adjustable and come direct from a recently shuttered factory in Harrison, NJ. I was told that they were used by garment workers sometime between the 1930s and 1950s. These would be a great authentic addition to a kitchen island, breakfast bar, garage, machine shop, or restaurant. The limits are pretty endless. They're all quite sturdy and have their old masonite seats. I've replaced most of the pan-head screws that hold the masonite down to ensure that they're securely attached. This is a nice set that should be put right back to use. I've left them in original, uncleaned condition. Vintage Industrial Steel Machinist's Stool Adjustable Back, Heel ring ORIGINAL
This Steam Punk machinist' stool is fabricated from industrial grade steel and is as sturdy as when new. But shows typical cosmetic wear and usage. The tubular legs are fixed with a 12" diameter round slatted seat at a height of 24" A 17" diameter tubular heel ring adds to the classic industrial style. The back rest is adjustable with a 2 1/2" range and is intact and in working order. Over all height range measurements are 35" 37 1/2" The stool does have a 4" adjustment for back width however, it has been welded at a fixed position. Could be restored to original condition if desired. The original paint color appears to have been grey but is worn. ITS COVERED WITH MULTIPLE LAYERS OF PAINT AS YOU CAN SEE THE WHITE AND RED PAINT UNDER THE BLACK PAINT. THE SEAT IS A SWIVEL SEAT THAT JUST SITS IN THE HOLE AND IS SOLID AND ALSO IS COVERED WITH LAYERS OF PAINT. VERY NICE AND STRONG WITH NO CRACKS OR CHIPS. Circa 1920 Industrial Era Machinist Stool Vintage Factory Angled Steel Work Seat
For sale is an original 1920's/ 30's industrial era machinist stool. It features angled steel legs and welded joints. It's in good structural condition with some minor wear and surface rust. There are multiple layers of paint visible in spots. Some of which is chipping pretty bad. Measurements- 12" W X 20" T Being sold as is. Two vintage mid century industrial metal factory shop chair from a closed turn of the century Union Supply Co factory building in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Both chairs show their age with random bits of wear and character while still structurally sound and read for use. Excellent industrial mid century machine age style piece to compliment your home. Office, or wherever else you can think to put them. Each chair measures approximately 14" x 14" for the seat. 17 1/2" high to the seat, and 30" high to the chair back.
