Antique Tiger Oak Hall Bench/ Deacon's Bench From my Grandparent's home in Western Pennsylvania Needs some TLC Exact age and style unknown. Estimated to be 1920s. The bench is made from both solid wood and wood veneers. I refinished this bench in the 1990s. However my work to repair chips in the veneers is poorly matched. More veneer chips have occurred since refinishing. Please see the many photos. I painted the interior of the bench(under the seat lid) to make it easier to see my children's hats and gloves. Which we stored there in the winter months. The bench measures about 41 inches wide x 16 inches deep x 39 inches height. My auctions come from a non-smoking home.
