Measures about 17" square at the top and 15 1/4" high. Fine clean solid complete condition. The oak has some normal age splits and wear- check my photos. This is a heavy very solid stool for its size- it weighs 21 pounds! The lathe turned legs have a classic Empire period style, a bit more balky than Eastlake. We believe it dates from mid 19th century. If you love old oak pieces like we do, you are certain to enjoy this magnificent small table or stool.

It is not only a handsome piece. But very practical. I think it has been used or displayed in every room of my home over the years. I would imagine this dates to the early 1900's. Measurements are 14" long(top) x 10" wide x 10 1/4" tall. With a thick 1" board on top. It is solid oak- partially quartersawn- and has a wonderful patina with beautiful grain. It appears to be handmade and very nicely crafted, with even some nails that look squared. There are small felt pads on the bottom of each foot which I added so it wouldn't scratch my hardwood floors. ... moreThese can be easily removed. The condition of this piece is Excellent. It is sturdy and solid as a rock. For accuracy I will mention an old 2" cut on the inside of one leg(it does not go through to the outside) it has always been there and does not show on display OR affect the function(you can just barely see it in the 2nd to last photo) Otherwise fine condition. Up for bids is this Antique Early 20thC Signed L. J.G. Stickley Handcraft Oak Foot Stool. This piece was made by L. J.G. Stickley between 1907& 1912. This piece is signed with the L. J.G. STICKLEY HANDCRAFT on the hand screw decal. This piece is constructed out of quarter sawn oak. The stool is in excellent condition with the original finish. The legs are a little loose and needs to be reglued. The original leather upholstery has been replaced with a needle point tapestry. This could easily be reupholstered with leather. Measures 14 1/2" across& 19 1/2" high Holtzman and Sons was a great company back in the late 1860's to early 1900's. They made all sorts of things and piano stools was a specialty. Made by me. An old retired guy with not much else to do. Made of quarter sawn red oak, all glued and dowelled, no screws or nails. The only screws hold the padded top to the frame. The stool measures 10-1/4" by 13-1/4" and stands 9" tall. Stained with medium golden oak and finished in a tobacco brown pebble finish leatherette. USA sales only. Vintage early 1900's Mission Oak foot stool in all original condition. Great Arts& Crafts form but it is unsigned and I do not know the maker. Nice larger than normal size at 16" tall. 19-3/4" long, and 15-3/4" wide. It is all solid oak and retains its original finish. There are some small chips at the foot areas but otherwise just normal surface wear. The leather top is worn and also has tiny paint dots here and there. I have had this stool in my home for 20+ years and it is now for sale as I prepare to move and downsize. With it's spindled sides I always kept it alongside my spindle sided L&JG chair which I also have currently listed on ebay so please check my other listings. This is a very Rare 1907 Gustav Stickley signed oak gout or monk stool that is in 100% original condition. I think they made these up to 1915 so I cant date it exactly but it is clearly at least 100 years old. This is the Craftsman oak square 12" X 12" and around 4.5" high. The leather covering has some cracking but I took photos from every angle of this rare. Original stool. There is some typical scuffs and scrapes to the edge of the legs, otherwise the finish is as it was when it came from Gustav's shop. Has the rare red label that is nearly 100% intact, look for yourself in the photos. At least 100 years old this may be the only chance for you to buy an authentic piece of Gustav Stickley Craftsman stool. Made of wood and leather the patina on this is original and awesome.
