Stool seat is a walnut colored bent plywood that goes well with the original patina gray paint. chair is all original. VINTAGE TOLEDO STEEL FUNITURE This auction is for one used vintage Toledo drafting stool/ chair This unit is in great condition for it's age back rest& seat are some type of resin. The fram is made of all steel. Measurments are: at it's highest setting seat to ground is about 20 1/2 inches and backrest ajusted to it's highest setting about 35 1/2 inches to ground and the lowest seat to ground is about 15 3/4 inches and with the back still ajusted to it's highest setting with seat at it's lowest is 30 1/2 inches to ground. But may or may not clean up, but left alone, it gives it that real industrial vintage look. It is structurally sound. The stool as shown is 30 1/2" from top of seat to ground. ANT. INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK ADJUSTABLE DRAFTING WOOD & CAST IRON SWIVEL STOOL
This antique Industrial/Steampunk stool is in EX. condition for it's age. The bent wood legs are in EX. condition with just a couple of very tight age cracks& 1 of the legs is a little chippy on on the bottom. This is a very solid stool weighing 17 lbs. Adjustable from 32" to 37" T he seat has been replaced& is 1 5/8" solid wood. I don't see any mfg. name on it. The cast iron parts appear to have been repainted the wood may have been refinished. There are square nails holding the cross pieces to the legs as shown in pic#8. The guy I got this from told me that this stool belonged to his Grandfather. Who was a plumber by trade. It was in his plumbing shop for many years. He also told me that his Grandfather installed the first indoor bathroom with a toilet in Quincy,IL. Vintage Industrial Steampunk Oak & Cast Iron Drafting Architect Swivel Stool
This oak stool is in very good condition for it's age. I am thinking turn of the century from it's design. I love it's design. The curved legs and wood foot rest.It swivels and is 31" down and 35" up. You need to do a lifting spinning motion with the seat to get it to rise. It can actually go a little higher. But I didn't want it to spin out totally. The seat is wood underneath, but has been recovered with a piece of leather. original horsehair underneath* Old seat was totally worn. There have been a couple of repairs done, but it is solid. Legs are 21" across-foot to foot. There are trusses built in the cross braces at the bottom, 10th picture shows. I would prefer local pickup, but I will ship it. Not sure what it's weight will be once packed, weighs 12 pounds as is. Hardboard top has some paint chipped here, some rust there and scratches on the seat, but it is still very solid and a great, simple piece to look at. Overall this piece measures approximately 31" high. Floor to top of seat is approximately 18” high and the seat itself measures approximately 14” x 14” Stamped. Lyon Metal Products, Inc. Aurora. Illinois” There are no breaks in the welds or the seat… again. Very solid. There was some surface rust on the bottom of the seat. But I wire brushed it revealing NO crazy eaten away metal. This beautiful. Sturdy, stool with its warm patina measures appx. 30" high and swivels up to appx. 34" The swivel mechanisms work properly and function well. It has normal wear and tear and no mechanical defects that I can find. The round wooden foot rest does have some separation at one spot but looks like some glue and a clamp would fix it with very little effort. The stool has some light surface rust near the feet and operating mechanism. The stool is missing one foot as well(please see photo) The seat height adjusts from 16" to 21" high. The back of the stool is adjustable as well. The walnut swivel seat on the stool is in very good condition. The seat has a"green-like" tint color. Matched Pair Antique Operators Stool - Industrial Drafting Barstool - STEAMPUNK
Offered for sale is a matched pair of old Western Electric 4A operator chairs. The main frames are constructed of steel. The seat frames are also steel. With wood backrests and a wood frame for the seat platform. The seat platforms are designed to accommodate a pressed cane insert. One of the pressed caned inserts is completely missing, and the other one, while still intact, needs to be replaced, Press Cane can be purchased on the internet. There are several websites with directions on how to replace press cane, including at least one youtube video. I have done it before and it’s not too difficult. There is wear to the wood finish on both the seat platforms and the back rests. The paint is original. And has some chips and wear. There are also places with some light oxidation to the finish. A few of the legs have some heavier oxidation near ... morethe floor area, but nothing structural. The circular foot rest. Which measures 18 inches in diameter, is a steel ring encased in a hard rubber-like material. One of the seats has a length around ten inches long where the rubber like material has worn off the top of rest, and you can see the steel ring. That seat also has a smaller area where there is a spider crack to the top surface of the coating. The other seat has a relatively small area of wear to the coating. All of this damage is included in the pictures. The foot rests attach to the frames with brackets on the underside at each leg, each bracket having two screws. A few of the screws are missing. Also, one bracket is missing. The wood back rests and the wood seat platforms are removable. So if you intend on refinishing the wood, you will be able to remove them for refinishing. The seats rotate a full 360 degrees. The seat height is adjusted by rotating the seat. At its lowest setting. The surface of the seat platform is around 28 inches above the floor, and you can raise the seat to a maximum of 37.5 inches, although at that height, there is a slight wobble in the large threaded bolt which attaches the main frame to th

This stool shows wear from age as pictured with a few tears in the cushion and some surface rust on the steel- all original as found condition. It measures 26" tall to the seat and 39" tall to the back rest and the base measures 17" by 17" I think it adjusts up and down but it needs some work. This chair is an excellent specimen from the early 1900's exhibiting the industrial style furniture that was produced during that time. The back rest swivels as well as the stool. There is very minimal rust and what little rust there is. Is just surface. The metal is in sound shape and is ready for reconditioning or leave as is. I am very pleased to offer to you this very industrial mid century draftsman style stool made by Hallowell that came from a recent estate. The stool has an oak lid with an all stell construction and O ring permimeter for the foot rest. It is being sold in as found condition and you can see the top is in decent condition with a small seperation that can be easily pulled together and the original finish on the stell base. I do want to point out there is some small white paint flecks from being used in its lifetime. It does have its original finish and is 27 1/2" high and the top seat is 14 1/2" in diameter. Personally, we would not touch it prior to use, preferring the well-used steampunk/industrial look to a fresh finish. But that's your call! Here is a rare industrial stool made by Page furniture. Vernon M. Page incorporated" From Buffalo NY. I believe this stool to be from the 1920's. This one is rare in that it has a leather seat with perforations instead of the conventional wood. Stool is rusty and leather pad is intact but pretty dry. There are miscellaneous scratches and paint drippings. Overall a great piece to restore or use as steampunk.

Vintage Toledo UHL Industrial Drafting Stool Steampunk 1940's?
Up for bid I have a vintage Toledo UHL drafting stool. It is in good useable condition. It has one downfall and that is it looks like someone used it as a sawhorse. The wood has a couple deep cuts into it and the metal meeting the wood also has one. Still very useable and still very cool. Other than that I'd say it is in great shape. The tags is still on the chair that reads Toledo UHL as shown in pic. Vintage UHL American industrial"posture line" factory industrial chair. Please refer to pictures as they are a big part of the description. Chairs are in very good structual condition. Walnut chair seat and back are in great condition in relation to these chairs age. Metal shows surface rust in places as pictured. But I have decided to leave them in as found condition with the green paint with light rust as some prefer the patina ... morethat comes with age. Original rubber feet with the words"Pussyfoot" and"Toledo Metal Co. are imprinted into the rubber. Shadowline Co. lingerie was their manufacturing bisusness) used these chairs in their company, but have been out of business for years. Chairs have been stored all this time. My father worked there in the 1960's and 70's. These chairs fabricated around 1922-25 by The Toledo Metal Furniture Co. This factory office chair was made according to the recommendations of the American Posture League of New York City. Its use brings the pelvis in right relation to the spine. So that one's weight is distributed over the pelvis and thighs. Nearly all parts of the chair are comprised of steel, cold rolled and die formed. The base is rigidly braced and has long wearing quality. The braces which make the base rigid are held in place by retainers set inside the"u" shaped legs, so that there is no pivoting motion to weaken the construction. The back wire or spring support is made of spring steel and yields pleasantly to the pressure of the body. Four bolts with large size wing nuts hold the seat and"spider" in the base of the ch

Vintage Industrial Metal Stool Great Patina steampunk kitchen drafting antique
The seat measures 20" tall while the back measures another 10 inches for a total of 30" tall. The sea itself is 12" in diameter and the bass is 12" square. It was previously stripped and sealed with tung oil. A beautiful patina now exist with spots of rust. There are also some scratches. Thanks for looking.
