Antique Tiger Oak Hall Bench/ Deacon's Bench From my Grandparent's home in Western Pennsylvania Needs some TLC Exact age and style unknown. Estimated to be 1920s. The bench is made from both solid wood and wood veneers. I refinished this bench in the 1990s. However my work to repair chips in the veneers is poorly matched. More veneer chips have occurred since refinishing. Please see the many photos. I painted the interior of the bench(under the seat lid) to make it easier to see my children's hats and gloves. Which we stored there in the winter months. The bench measures about 41 inches wide x 16 inches deep x 39 inches height. My auctions come from a non-smoking home. Leiman Double width Jeweler's Bench. These were made in Newark Nj in the 1910's and 20's. this is the wider and scarcer double width bench at 62" wide. 34 1/2" high. 16 3/4" deep. Made with iron legs(which have the companies name in them) Maple top, and oak edge and oak faced drawers. top drawers are hardboard lined, lower are lined with galvanized steel. Overall. For its age, this bench is in very good condition. naturally there is some wear. also, there is a burn in the counter. there were about a 1/2 dozen screw holes in the bench which I filled. I also sanded the top and applied two coats of minwax oil base poly. the edge has some small holes drilled in it where he kept his drill bits(these are small and can be filled quite easily; I can fill them with wood epoxy or small dowels or toothpicks if you wish before ... moreshipping) will make a nice sideboard. also a user if desired. has wood blocks used for supporting material to be worked(see photo) will be shipped in pieces. I will send plenty of photos to show how it goes back together.

Antique Christiansen Woodworking Bench Circa 1910 Good Condition Subtitle Description Antique Christiansen woodworking bench with 2 vices and tool tray along the back. It comes with two of the original bench dogs. It is 51" long and 20" wide NOT including vices. This bench has seen three generations of woodworkers in my family and many projects have been made on it. I can also remember. As a child in the 1930s, my Grandfather shaving cut plug tobacco in one of the vices to stuff in his pipe or in his mouth. Im sure he did his share of woodwring on it too. I have not refinished this bench so it can be tuned up and used as is or restored and displayed.
