Has label on base"edsal" which looks to be dated 1967. Stool shows average cosmetic wear. No rust. Dents, etc. I think the screw on the back rest may be a replacement. Good sturdy piece. Legs adjust with screws to a variety of heights. At the tallest it measures 25" from floor to seat and shortest it is 17.5" from floor to seat. Back rest height can also be adjusted for height or back rest can be removed with a screw at the bottom of the stool. Many options. This is an old steel stool. It has some surface rust on it. But still very solid. It is 26" tall. The seat is 13" in diameter. It weighs 12lbs. I have another matching stool in another auction. Wooden swivel seat top on an industrial green frame with footrest. Foot rest is 18" in diameter. Seat height is adjustable. The wooden seat measures 15" diameter and stands 28" high at its lowest adjustment. It can adjust up about 3" +. I will lower it down all the way for shipment. This was found in very nice condition. There is a bit of exposed metal here and there. Some light discoloration, light surface rust and surface scratches. The foot rest has the most paint wear from use. Cool stool!Unfortunately this stool fell victim to the USPS and the wood seat top was broken in shipment. Made by the Angle Steel Co of Michigan.A brass nameplate on the front indicates that it is U.S.Property.military? Steel legs with a greenish finish,round wood top with loads of character that spins to adjust the height.Stands 17" tall at the shortest and can be raised about 7" safely.There appears to have an attachment to add a backrest,backrest not included.Great industrial stool,selling as found with the seat broke.Repurpose the base,fix or replace the top.

We have for sale a Vintage Industrial Machine Age Adjustable Drafting Oak Wood Cane Seat Swivel Stool. The seat adjusts from 17 inches up to 22 inches. It has a round cane seat. Stretched just slightly but in great condition(no breaks) The stool is in very nice condition, there are a couple splits in the small round circle under the legs(See Photos) These splits do not hurt the integrity of this stool. I added some additional photos to the end of this auction showing a couple additional flaws such as a wood plug missing on one leg, some small holes around the edge of the seat, and a scape on one of the feet. Most of these flaws are easily fixable but to me also add charm and a vintage look to the stool. Please check all the photos and decide for yourself. Vintage Toledo Drafting Chair in good functional condition with typical wear. This is chair#2 of 3 that we have listed. Overall the wood is in good. Clean condition with some surface scratches and expected wear. No veneer peeling or cracking. The base metal and grey paint is original and shows wear and some paint loss. The metal glides are good and intact. Seat height adjustment and backrest adjustment mechanisms are functional. Seat height at front edge adjusts from 15 1/2" up to approximately 19" We've given this a light cleaning but some detail cleaning would really make it sharp. There is no makers markings anywhere that I could find on this item. It resembles the Toledo stools though. This item works well and is in vintage condition. There is plenty of wear on this piece. This chair is an excellent specimen from the early 1900's exhibiting the industrial style furniture that was produced during that time. The back rest swivels as well as the stool. There is very minimal rust and what little rust there is. Is just surface. The metal is in sound shape and is ready for reconditioning or leave as is. This would also be a great project for Steampunk theme furniture. These chairs are very rare and this particular style is even rarer. We believe it is wrapped with suede leather but do to age and wear it is now coarse. Has the original Toledo/Uhl tag intact. You will be hard pressed to find another like this! Excellent condition with authentic age commensurate wear. The wood seat and back has lots of vintage industrial character. Old staple marks(previously upholstered) and a smooth‘Dutchman’ repair on the seat. But with no chunks missing from the edges, as is often the case. The seat swivels smoothly. The chrome riveted base has the iconic spring loaded squeeze lever to adjust seat height. Up for auction is this industrial age drafting stool made of solid wood and cast iron. It has a comfortable footrest all around the legs. It adjusts to heights of 30 to 35 inches. The seat has been re-glued where a section came apart and is ready for several more decades. Not sure of the maker. But looks more like a Sikes or Toledo. It's very well made and will look great where ever it goes.

You are looking at a very cool Antique Industrial Drafting Stool that swivels. Has adjustable height, and has a nice foot rest. This item is very used and is sold as is in vintage used almost antique condition. This stool probably had a back piece at some point and that is why there is a spot on the side of the seat that is cut out. This is a very cool stool i used for a long time. It does go up and down like it should and swivels with ease. It could use some oiling up I'd imagine. Please see photos closely for more detail. The stool has a 14 inch diameter seat. Vintage Industrial Era adjustable height swivel drafting chair-stool from United Manufacturers. It is in good condition with some wear. The padded seat and back have been recovered with turquoise fabric and has mild wear and no tears. The frame is made of steel. It has some minimal surface rust on the bottom of the legs. The chair is adjustable with a seat height range of 19-27 inches and a back height range of 33-41 inches. The seat 15.5 x 16. Slightly wider than long. The base is 17 inches wide with a 17 inch diameter foot rest. It is a heavy duty well made chair. It was just taken from a working environment when we remodeled the estimating area of our construction association office. We were founded in 1954 and these chairs were incorporated into 2 previous remodels.We had 10 and are keeping 5 for continued use but have 5 we are selling.
