VT. and also is impressed on bottom CUSHMAN 9038. The Measurements are length 11' x width 9' x height 8' Used condition. The top has finish loss and scuffs/scratchs into the wood, some seam separation on the top but all joints are tight& solid- see all pics. some small old white paint drips, all 4 legs are solid& tight. Foot rest, foot stool, or a time out stool. It has a brass or metal oval lable on the bottom that reads A genuine Cushman Colonial Creation made in Bennington VT. Carved into the bottom by the manufacture is CUSHMAN 9038. There are four staples in the bottom where there must have been a paper lable. Very sturdy angled tappered legs. They are structured all the way through the top. Stool measures about 8" tall. Top measures about 13" x 9" I am not sure of the age. There are some scuff. Scratches and nicks in the stool. Vintage CUSHMAN Colonial Cricket MAPLE FOOT STOOL #9038 sm WOOD Bench
The sturdiest little stool I've ever seen! Solid maple wood- well built- excellent quality! Legs are pegged into the top as shown in photo. A brass tag on the underside states the manufacturer- A genuine Cushman Colonial Creations- made in Bennington. Vermont. Also has an"F" stamped into it as well as"CUSHMAN 9038" The Cushman company was sold in 1971. This stool is over 50 years old, but has no major problems. A few surface scratches, but nothing structurally. The top looks like someone started to sand then stopped- a few light places on the top. 3 of the legs have a felt tab on bottom which I did not attempt to remove. It measures 8 1/4" high and 13" x 8" wide. Really in very good condition. Just a wonderful, beautiful stool! Insurance will be included in shipping charges. This is a vintage mid century footstool It is signed on the bottom"F" CUSHMAN" 9038" It measures 8" tall. It is made of Maple. The top measures 13" by 7 5/8" It is NOT new. Please expect to see a stain on the top.I have not put any stain, or scratch guard on this footstool.it is as I found it.I know some folks do not like the smell.etc.of the chemicals on the scratch guard. This Vintage. Genuine Cushman Foot Stool is made in the Colonial style, in Bennington, Vermont circa 1950's. It has its Original oval Metal Cushman tag. But missing its paper label- We see the 4 tacks on the bottom, indicating that it was once there. There is also the impressed Cushman mark together with the numbers 9038. This Stool retains its original Finish and is identified as Model# 9038. This Wonderful little Stool has a top that measures 13" by 9" and stands 8" high. This Cushman Cricket Stool is in Fair to Good Vintage Condition. There are finish scratches. Marks of use and light paint spatter as seen in our Photos. We see Glue in the holes where the legs connect to the top and not sure if this is original or re-glued as other stools we see has some of this same gluing on other stools.
