The handles are green opposing or"kissing kitties" The"walls" dividing the scenes feature 2 pairs of scaled google eyed coy fish and abundant flora decoration. The surface of the lamps has a wonderful slightly raised texture where the paints were applied. The photos do not do proper justice to these fabulous lamps! They are large. Measuring 16 1/2" to the top of the vase and 9" wide. The mounts are antique brass and the bases are footed chinese wood stands in dark brown. I have just replaced sockets in both lamps and they function beautifully. The shades shown are not included in this auction but if you want them, I will include them in a separate box for an additional $100.00 plus shipping. In my opinion, these lamps really should have large custom made tall drum shades. This pair was purchased from a wealthy estate in South Beach about 10 years ago and are VERY FINE. Antique Tri Fold Vanity/Shaving Mirror Hinged w/Tooled Leather c.1800's
This mirror is such a great find. Although I guess the age to be 100+ years old, it is still in great condition. It has three panels of beveled glass with the exception of some ghosting and minor silver loss each panel is in good condition. The wood has held up exceptionally well with very minor ware and chipping. The tooled leather backing has some damage as shown in the photos but also impressive for its age. It has three ball feet and original hanging chain. The dimensions are 8" x 6" and when fully extended it measures 19-1/2" I try to point out all flaws if any. ANTIQUE 1876 BREVETE SGDB LB PAINTED TRI-FOLD SHAVING MIRROR FRENCH Antique tri-fold 19th c. shaving mirror marked 1876 Brevete Sgdb. Looks like a framed painting/print with small brass hinge on left. The painting lifts to reveal another painting and mirror. The second painting lifts to reveal 3 mirror panels. Each of the prints has signed names in bottom right-looks like Druck Verlag Berg Grabon. Brass frame edge has inscripted Patent No. 182633. 26 September 1876. The top applied print has embedded jewel like pieces, a chip to one corner& some torn areas at top. The second print has a few small torn areas. Brass latch missing hinge to secure top print. One on the right panel top, and a spot in the center piece. It measures opened approximately 24 3/4 inches wide and 17 3/4 inches tall. The hinges and the wall mounts have some rust on them. You are bidding on this unique antique bronze tri fold mirror with dragon feet. Length when all handles are unfolded is approximately 30" When the mirror is folded it is approximately 10" wide. It is 15.5" tall. The dragon feet measure approximately 5.5" front to back. It is marked J.V. Bte s.g.o.g. The screws that hold the frame in place do not appear to be the original and it is missing the cross bar for the handle. Antique Tri-Fold 3 Panel Etched Folding Vanity Boudoir Dresser Mirror
Beautiful Antique Etched Tri-Fold Vanity Mirror Measures 15.75" tall by 22.5" wide with side panels opened. There are clips all around to hold the mirror to its backing. Condition is very good. All the clips and hinges are tight, no chips or cracks. There are spots behind the glass and darkness and cloudiness, no damage to the etching. Not perfect, but not expected to be and nice that way. ESTATE FIND: Antique/vintage tri-fold mirror with round beveled glass. Large size with wood frame covered in cloth and paper. Could have been used in a department store display due to size and weight. Good condition. Wood frame is covered with cloth and paper- wear to both. Some minor foxing on some of the mirrors(on the edge. Has a slight musty smell from being in storage for many years. Review pictures. Romantic antique vintage tri-fold mirror for vanity or dressing table. Measures 20" high; 27" wide when open; the center panel is 10" wide. The outside panels are 8" wide. This is a heavy piece- it has wood backing- almost 14 pounds before shipping. The mirror is in very nice condition, just some minor silver loss around the edges. I didn't see any chips or cracks in the mirrors. The back panels have some minor surface cracks in the wood but it's still quite(very! sturdy.
