Antique Wheelock& Co. of Germany"California Rose" covered dish. This beautiful dish has the dark bavarian green that so many collectors love and the light and dark pink roses. It is beautiful. This dish is somewhere from the early 1900's and is in great condition. I believe I felt a few small nicks on the underside of the lid but not very noticeable at all. This is to be expected for a dish this old that was used quite often in its day. It has the gold gilting that looks to be in very good condition. And just look at the swagging decoration. Absolutey beautiful- they don't do work like this any more. This dish measures 4" high. 5-3/8" wide at the top and the base is 5-1/2" and 3-1/8" deep, with 2 perfect handles for carrying. The jar has a Registry Mark for 1907 and features a transfer print of beautiful Gold and Red flowers and Green leaves on a Cream and Light Blue background. Up for auction is this really pretty& different looking colbalt blue porcelain jar. I am not sure if it is a cookie or biscuit jar. Well. Whatever it is, I think it is pretty. The handles are really unique the way they are shaped. The Fleur-De-Lis floal pattern is all around the jar& is so neat. On the bottom of the jar is the# 590. There are no other markings. The lid has several chips that mostly can only be seen when you lift up the lid. The jar is 8" tall x 6" across. It is 4" across the top of the opening. Please examine the photos closely. Beautiful old bisquit jar. Unmarked. Not sure of age or manufacturer. I have seen some similar listed as Wavecrest or Mt Washington. Measures 8" to top of lid. Good condition, needs a really good cleaning. The lid is marked Silver Plate, has some scratches and wear. The handle has scratches and wear as well, is slightly bent and one side keeps popping out. I believe this is an Antique Japanese Tea Caddy or Tobacco Jar. Now when I say that; I can just as easily see it being an Antique Biscuit Jar. So I am not exactly sure. But it is a Beautiful Jar non the less. It is Bone china, not a heavy type of china. It has a beautiful pictorial of mountains and the sea with lots of trees and houses and sailing boats in the sea. It has old designs of clouds or waves. Reminds me of old Japanese designs.

Vintage Ott & Brewer Bisquit Jar
You are bidding on an antique Ott& Brewer Co Biscuit Jar. The Ott and Brewer Company was in business in Trenton NJ from 1871-1892. This is a great piece in off white/soft cream color with gilt handles and trim. The trim around the neck of the jar is a gold trimmed with an Asian inspired floral design on the body of the jar. The gilt floral pattern on the body of the jar is in gold and still looks great for it's age. There is some worn off gold around the top of trim(see in pictures) crazing on the outside and the inside of the jar but is otherwise in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is NO lid to this jar and this does not detract from the appearance. The mark on the bottom of the jar is sunburst pattern with rising sun in the center and Ott& Brewer Co Trenton NJ.
