ANTIQUE DELFT PORCELAIN CIGARETTE JAR+LID ~Trinket Box Canister Container Pot
Antique Delft Jar circa 1969 I purchased this jar in Delft Holland in 1969. I believe this was sold as a decorative cigarette holder at the time. The jar is a straight cylinder and has a lid with an inner lip to hold it in place. Stands 3" tall and 2.5" wide. Lovely floral pattern in classic blue + white. Marked on the underside"Delft Holland" and initials that look like YLS. Has been displayed in the past but never had anything stored inside; clean as a whistle inside. There is overall crazing in the glaze giving it a nice antique patina. The lid has several tiny dings on the underside visible in the last photo; these don't show with the lid in place. There is also a crack in the glaze on the jar's top rim visible in the last photo; there's no chip or break in the pottery though. Appears to be in the glaze ... morealone, and doesn't show with the lid in place. Very clean; no stains or odors; from a non-smoking home and owner. I accept ALL forms of payment. Including check and MO. Payment is due within 7 days of auction end. YES. I combine shipping on multiple purchases. Package tracking is included in the shipping cost. Insurance on USPS is available and optional. I am not responsible for uninsured items that are lost. Stolen or broken. Items are usually shipped same or next day of payment being received. I am proud of my quick shipping record. Shipping outside US: I retain a postal receipt for proof of mailing. Package tracking is only available with purchased insurance. Packages are marked as a gift and have no customs value. I have never had a negative feedback from a buyer since I began selling on eBay in 2001. And have sold over 2000 items. I do a lot of eBay shopping. I want your buying experience to be the same kind I would want. Please let me know if you experience any problem with shipping. Packaging, or problems with an item not described in the listing. I am a reasonable and fair person who believes in doing the right thing.

Up for auction is this sweet Nippon Mustard Pot and/or Jam Jar with the Lid and a Spoon. There is the Nippon Mark on the bottom. The Nippon Pot/Jar is Hand Painted with pastel blue& greens in a Floral Scene. There is some wear to the Gold Trim. The Spoon seems to be a heavier type of ceramic/porcelain. It seems to big and the colors(Rust brown& Cream) do not go with the Nippon. They were together when I acquired them and so I will let them together. Antique toothpaste-shaving ceam jar/pot pottery w/ colorful scene on lid
A nice collectible glazed pottery jar with a lid. The lid has a colorful country scene on it-probably transfer. It has a house. Animals in a river and lady and man. The jar is 2 1/2 inches high and 4 in. across. It has several nicks and chips but is still very charming and collectible. These were likely used to contain toothpaste, cold cream, shavings cream and grease as well as other things. These were made 1840-1910 when they were replaced with less expensive jars after WW1. I am listing this for a thrift shop that I volunteer for and arte usually vintage or antique and could show some wear and are eold as is so please ask any questions before you bid. Antique, porcelain,GERMAN pomade jar crock pot lid..orig.advertising labels+cont
You are bidding on an antique. Porcelain, advertising-transferred, GE RM AN hair pomade container.with most of it's original labels + about 95% of it's original contents! Very few of these v.early 20 th century jars have been found with their original labels and contents.making this one extremely rare. Condition is superb. With the transfer print on top of the lid very sharp and clear.see pic.1& 2) I believe you will be able to read the English print on the labels(see pics.4& 5) and that will give you a clear idea of the uses and rather extreme claims made for the product! This was a product of Ge rm an manufacture. But made for the English market, and these lids and containers have been found all over the world, indicating that the product must have had a pretty broad, global appeal. The jar measures about 2 1/2" in diameter ... moreand stands about 2" high when the lid is in place on the base section. Great item for your collection. Especially with the original labels& contents.you will not easily find one in such a great state of preservation! You are bidding on antique. Ceramic, Shaving Cream jar or"pot lid' as they are commonly known. This one features a horseshoe pictorial, company trademark. Condition: Has the usual fine glaze crazing. A small area of rough spot on the face at 4 o' clock on the outer perimeter and a re-attached chip to the side flange wall(was recently"bumped"pic.5. Antique, ceramic, AMERICAN White Chemist's toothpaste jar crock pot lid
You are bidding on an antique.Ceramic, regular size, POND'S CHEMIST'S" toothpaste container or"pot lid" as they are known. The lid shows the customary glaze crazing for these older pieces and has two"fills" pics 5& 6) and a foot rim chip on the base which is unsighted when the jar is standing in it's normal position. The base section is slightly elongated. These taller bases were used to increase the amount of paste offered to the buyer. The lid measures 2 3/4" in diameter and stands 2 1/4" high when the lid is seated on the base section. The lid face features a nice pictorial of the Areca nut. The Areca nut was a Middle Eastern nut which was thought to have hygienic and astringent properties by the Victorians. when it was eventually analyzed. Marutomoware Father Knickerbocker lidded figural jar pot container with lid
Marutomoware father Knickerbocker Figural Jar I'm really not sure what this guy is/was used for. He is ceramic with Marutomoware handpainted Japan on the bottom with a T in a circle done in black. He is a tiny bit over 3"high and approx. 3" wide. His lid fits onto his hat. His hat has what looks possibly like a pour spout in each of the three corners. On the bottom on the back it says Father Knickerbocker. He is in great condition with no chips or cracks. There is minimal crazing and the colors are bright and vibrant. If you look in the photos it looks like speckles around the rim of his hat. Those are underneath the glaze. Comes from a smoke free home. Please ask me any questions before bidding. I'm not an expert but I do try to list my items accurately and honestly. lm3vhp.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk%601d72f%2Bjw%60%3Elm3vhp-141ef588569-0x102-
