This clear finish has scratch and water resistance. They are 5" long from steeple tip to steeple tip and they are 3" wide. The pins are loose and removable. Up for auction is a beautiful antique porcelain BISCUIT CRACKER JAR. It is beautifully decorated with pink roses and shades of pink fading in and out. It is a stunning piece. It is marked on the bottom Three Crown China GERMANY. It is in excellent condition except for the one little nick on the inside rim. You don't notice it since it is on the underside mostly. The lid. The handles and the body are all Excellent. This lovely antique piece has been on display on my marble top victorian buffet for quite some time. It is very pretty and a wonderful example of an early victorian era biscuit jar. It would make a lovely gift as well. VERY PRETTY Please feel free to ask any questions. I accept paypal. 2 Antique French Porcelain Tea Caddy Jar HP Crossed Feather Arrow Jean Petit ?
2 beautiful antique. Matching, hand painted porcelain jars or tea caddies. Marked. Made in France Hand Painted in red script, but worn. Also marked with the 2 crossed arrows or feathers or wheat stalks. There are a number of porcelain makers that use those marks in several countries. There are at least 3 different companies in France that use them as well. The mention of the country of origin in backstamps indicates that these pieces were made after 1891. Dimensions: 4" tall to the rim. 5" long, 2" wide. The opening ins 1.75" diameter. Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks or hairlines. There is notable image loss where the lid sits that is visible when the lid is removed. I think this is expected with this type of piece. The underside is pretty dirty. This is also pretty normal for unglazed porcelain.

This superb tagine is 3-1/2 inches tall by 3-1/2 inches measured across the center of the bottom piece. Lovely design. All hand painted. Beautiful hand tooled silver trimmings. The silver trimming around the bottom piece matches the vertical silver trimming on the vase we have up for sale. The silver has remained nice all these years. There is some mold imperfections which is expected in all early pottery. This is missing its original lid and bail. This is 8" tall and has a 5.5" diameter. Antique 1820s English SILVER LUSTRE Lid Jar/Trinket Box: Poor Man's Silver#2 Up for sale is a rare antique English silver lustre lid jar or trinket box or perhaps a serving piece for the dinner table. When the middle class began to emerge in the early to mid 19th century they wanted silver serving sets like the upper class. But couldn't afford it. That's when these economical earthenware silver lustre pieces were crafted-their shiny silver was popular with the middle class. The jar is 4.75" in diameter and the piece is 3.5" tall(not counting the top knob) The inside of the jar is a shiny black. There's a single tiny nick on the rim as in the last photo on the right side and another tiny nick on the unseen inside rim. Both are very minor and this is a great piece with only mild silver loss from wear. It's a rare ... morepiece. I purchased this at an estate auction and it had a tag dating it as 1820s. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again. Up for auction is an antique 19th century Victorian English prattware mustard or meat paste pot circa 1856. Features a hunting scene with rabbits. Dogs, and a pheasant. Very Fine Antique Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain 10" Covered Ginger Jar #2
This is the second of 2 antique Chinese Famille Verte porcelain 10" covered Ginger Jars which are of the same shape. Size and type of decoration but not a true pair owing to difference of design motifs(see last photo to compare) which is why they are being sold separately. Both were drilled and formerly mounted as a pair of lamps. They look similar enough to have functioned well in that capacity and might do so again nicely. Other than the holes, they are both in superb condition. Due to their size and shape, each will to be boxed and shipped separately which precludes combining shipping in the event that the same buyer purchases both.

My wife asked me to list this nice"handpainted" porcelain jar for sale for her on my ebay site. It is about 2.5" tall and 2.1" in its widest diameter. The pattern is famille rose with leaves. Butterflies, etc. on the jar and on the lid on top. It is stamped with a Jingde zheng chinese mark which is a famous old porcelain factory in Jiangxi province in china. It also has english writing made in China It is fairly old because you can see several areas where the hand painting has been rubbed off somewhat. However, don't know how old. It appears to be in very good shape with ... moreno cracks, chips or other defects that I can see but there is some wear of the hand painting along the sides and on the lid of the piece. It should still make a nice addition to a fine vintage antique porcelain chinese collection. But it is a Beautiful Jar non the less. It is Bone china, not a heavy type of china. It has a beautiful pictorial of mountains and the sea with lots of trees and houses and sailing boats in the sea. It has old designs of clouds or waves. Reminds me of old Japanese designs.

One of the jars has Ball underlined. They are from the 1910-1923 era. The last year of production of Blue Ball Mason jars was 1937. They measure approximately 9 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter and are hallmarked with#4 and#7. They are in very good condition and come with the original zinc and porcelain lids. As with all glass from this period there may be small bubbles and mold marks. These are extremely nice jars. Great pieces of Americana.

For your consideration is a hand turned stoneware preserve jar. The capacity is slightly more than 1/2 of a gallon. But I am saying it is 1/2 of a gallon, because I do not know where it should be filled to. The handle was skillfully applied by hand. The height is 6 3/4" and the bottom is 6 1/2" in diameter. There are 0 cracks, however on the rim is a very minor blemish; I cannot decide whether this minor blemish is a chip or a glaze skip. I assume that a lid should sit on the inner rim, but I have 0 lid. Please examine the pictures carefully, as the pictures are part of the description.

Pair 19th C Covered Jar Box Porcelain Antique Faience 2 1870-1900
This is a pair of sweet and beautifully matched. Hand painted, small covered jars made in France. The conjoined VP maker's mark hints that they were made 1748-1803 by Veuve Perrin, but more likely, they were copies created in the last quarter of the 1800's by the Paris, France House of Samson. Edmé Samson made many excellent copies of famous maker's porcelain wares: Meissen, French Faience, Sèvres, Chelsea, etc. He openly reproduced choice museum and private collection pieces, under the caveat of marking them to distinguish them from the originals. This last step did not always occur. The pieces his artisans put out were copied so well they have become collected in their own right. These matched French jars are 1.75" tall and have all hand painted foliage wreath decoration on the lids. And swags& florals around ... morethe exterior of the jar. The foot ring on each jar is unglazed and shows signs of age. There is very minor pitting on the surfaces of each, common to the age. No crazing on these. Color is beautifully vibrant as pictured. These collectible French faience jars are in near-new condition. If you are buying more than one item from us over the next 2 days, do not pay until we send you an invoice.
