It is marked on the bottom Three Crown China GERMANY. It is in excellent condition except for the one little nick on the inside rim. You don't notice it since it is on the underside mostly. The lid. The handles and the body are all Excellent. This lovely antique piece has been on display on my marble top victorian buffet for quite some time. This is an outstandingly beautiful antique hand-painted cracker/biscuit jar. The gold moriage accent against the navy blue edging really sets off the beautifully detailed floral on this jar; the artistry of this item is exquisite. The twisted flute of the body mold adds another layer of intricacy to the item. The item is unmarked. But I do believe this to be either German or Bavarian porcelain prior to 1900. I did notice upon very close inspection that there appears to be a glaze drip issue that looks like it could be a hairline crack. Upon holding it up to the light and under magnification. I cannot confirm if this is a true hairline crack that has not gone through or a glaze drip. I do believe that it is a glaze issue and not a crack, but I cannot confirm with 100% certainty that this is NOT a hairline crack. Lovely antique porcelain hand painted biscuit jar. This piece is not marked. But I am certain from the design, quality of porcelain, and overall look that it is German. The inset lid has eight"points" and a small knob at the top. There is gilt trim and a scalloped design. The main feature is the beautiful variety of flowers and colors. There are Pansies, Zinnias, and other flowers in coral, lavender, pink, gold, and white. The bottom is also scalloped. It measures 6 inches in height, 6 inches in diameter at the widest point, and 4 inches inches in diameter at the most narrow point. A lovely piece. Excellent fine antique salt glazed stoneware pottery majolica tobacco jar probably German Rheinish and dating from the 18th century. The jar is tall with a cylindrical shape and has a deep molded raised majolica Greek design repeated around the body of the jar. It has a slightly domed screw down pewter lid and mount with a separate internal metal seal. I think the artwork is the Greek goddess Hebe who served nectar and ambrosia to the gods. The eagle represents Zeus. The jar is finished in a tigerware brown salt glaze and has an incised makers mark of CC. Measures around 8 1/4" tall.

Antique jasperware covered jar, probably from Germany- the celadon green ground applied with 2 busts, in profile- one of George Washington, and on the other side, of Benjamin Franklin- both surrounded by a classical laurel leaf wreath. Lovely Bavarian-style biscuit jar with applied floral motifs and handpainted gilt trim manufactured in the late 1800s by C. Tielsch Co. The company began in Hohenburg. Bavaria, under the Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory umbrella, and later was located in Silesia, Germany. The manufacturer was known for having the best porcelain designers as well as for producing a wide range of household goods. The body of the jar is further enhanced by beautiful repousse framing the flowers and a reticulated edge to hold the complementary lid. It stands approximately 7 3/4" tall and has a diameter. The background is a creamy tone. The top has a fluted, scalloped edge and the sides of the jar have a swirled scalloped shape. It has a figural cupid on either side, holding a bow and a raised torch. His wings coming off his back and his little manhood visible. He is sitting amongst a gathering of roses. We could not find a single makers mark anywhere on this, we do see three OLD Old fleabytes on the bottom rim lip. We are guessing 19th century, but that is just a guess for us, we see other glazes of this type being dated back into the 1700's, but the pewter to our eyes looks 19th century. FINE ANTIQUE GERMAN AEROZON PORCELAIN POTPOURRI JAR WITH CHINOISERIE DECORATION
This potpourri jar is in the form of a small bulbous lidded Chinese ginger jar.This is a delicate piece of porcelain beautifully decorated with prunus blossoms. One of the most regarded floral motifs in Chinese art. The main enamel is famille noire- it is the backdrop for the white prunus flowers, the gilt leaves and brown intertwining branches and a fluttering lonesome dove. There is green shrubbery growing from the foot of the jar. The brim of the lid and the neck of the jar are both decorated with T frets. The pierced vents on the body of the jar are arranged like flowers as well. This was probably made from 1910 to the 30's. There is a faint scripted Aerozon mark and DRGM which some believe means that this design and product is protected by copyright but not patented. Seller advises buyer to further research. The lid can be closed ... moretightly into the opening of the jar because both have grooves. The jar is in excellent condition- no chips or cracks. The wood stand came with the jar.The foot has residue from the putty that kept the jar in place. There is some light staining both on the rim of the jar and lid. The jar is 6" high; the mouth is a little under 2" the foot is 2 3/4 across; the belly is 14" around.

Antique Biscuit Jar - Side Handles-Roses Pattern-German?-Circa 1910
I know that is antique biscuit jar(as Grandma called it)and is at least from 1910 but it could be earlier. She told me it was German but I only see a fainted green mark on the bottom of what looks like two 9's joined together with some leaf in between. It has a great large rose transferware pattern. Some raised work around the top edge and ornate side handles. No chips, cracks or repairs but the gold around the top edge and on the lid is worn. Still a beautiful piece that is very collectible. It is an off white delicate china background with a slightly footed bottom The open handled lid measures 4 3/4" across. The jar itself stands 4" tall and has a scalloped edge. ANTIQUE REDWARE PA DUTCH MOTTO WARE GERMAN ELF FINIAL ON COVERED TULIP JAR
Fabulous folk art covered jar in redware. Has an elf finial on the top(elf is holding a spoon) One side has a tulip growing out of a heart and the other side has a German motto. I don't know what it says. There are initials JS on the bottom as shown. One tiny chip on elf's foot and tip of cap(pointed out in pics) Crazing from age on part of jar. It measures about 4 1/4" long and about 3 3/8" tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is some rubbing to gold trim. There is some minor light brownish discoloration on underside of lid. There is a firing separation on the interior bottom of the larger barrel. A few black specks here and there and a bit of stray pink paint, all in the making. I don't see any maker's mark. Possibly German in origin. A great piece for your collection. NO RESERVE. Antique Simon Peter Gerz German Stoneware Ewer Stein Pitcher Jug- Impressed Mark- The ewer(or pitcher/jug) dates back to the 1890's or early 1900's. It features the impressed triangle mark of the maker Simon Peter Gerz along with mold number 719. The ewer measures 16 3/4" in height. 9 7/8" in width and 3 7/8" in depth. The stoneware used by Gerz is cream colored. The colors painted over the base are a very dark blue. A light green and reddish-brown. There is a figural lion's head with a ring through it's mouth at the top of the ewer. There are no defects. Cracks or chips seen anywhere on the ewer. The large ewer has been kept in a display cabinet for many decades and used only as a vase for dried floral arrangements.

Beautiful Art Deco Tea Caddy/Canister/Jar made from Porcelain and finished in a great black striped pattern with a very cool patina! Made in Germany. Other markers include Dec.2251. Shield with 2 stripes across and 5305 are embossed on the bottom. Condition: Besides chips across about 60% of the top the rest of the item is in good shape. Showing a little bit of staining on the white part of the stripes. The inside is a bit dirty, but in good condition! Missing its cap as well. This item looks great just sitting on my desk! But I know it would look a lot cooler at your retro style business, your home or office! Would make an awesome desk top pen or marker holder for an artist or a unique student!
