Antique Wheelock& Co. of Germany"California Rose" covered dish. This beautiful dish has the dark bavarian green that so many collectors love and the light and dark pink roses. It is beautiful. This dish is somewhere from the early 1900's and is in great condition. I believe I felt a few small nicks on the underside of the lid but not very noticeable at all. This is to be expected for a dish this old that was used quite often in its day. It has the gold gilting that looks to be in very good condition. And just look at the swagging decoration. Absolutey beautiful- they don't do work like this any more. This dish measures 4" high. 5-3/8" wide at the top and the base is 5-1/2" and 3-1/8" deep, with 2 perfect handles for carrying. They are beautifully decorated with lustre finish that glows with pastel rainbow colors on the white porcelain and with gold gilts on the front of each jar and on the lids. On the bottom is brown mark White Block used around 1900's. Canisters are in good condition.There is one tiny chip(1/16" on the inside rim of the canister with nutmeg name on it but is not seen when the lid is on. This for sale is a very old kitchen canister jar for SUGAR. It is marked on the bottom that it is a piece made by Villeroy& Boch. A Dresden creation, made in Germany. SAXONY is marked on the inside lid and also on the bottom. The mark on the bottom is large, featuring an angel with outstretched arms holding crowns. It stands 6" tall alone, and with the lid on it is 7" tall. The base diameter is 4" and the upper open diameter is also 4" The lid is 4 1/4" in diameter. The touch and appearance of this jar is more like pottery than ceramic porcelain. The blues are overwhelming beautiful against the white and even the age crazing and cracks cannot distract the eyes from this gorgeous piece of history and art. PROBABLY GERMAN DATING TO C1900 This is just a wonderful antique mustard pot in the form of an adorable big dressed in clothes and an apron and bonnet and drinking a lovely cup of tea or coffee! The piece is absolutely charming! I believe that this is from Germany and it is porcelain. It dates to the turn of the 19th Century. Probably c1890-1920. This piece is just so rare and wonderful! The mustard pot is in wonderful condition. The spoon suffered a clean break in packing. It can easily be glued back together if desired. The pig is 3 7/8 inches(9.8 cm) tall. This is a rare porcelain fruit bowl/ vase that is decorated with applied ceramic flowers and a young boy. It is stamped at the bpttom with the mark of Schierholz& Sons of Germany, Meissen style, The bowl has perforated sides and it is in very good condition for an item this old. Shows wear from use, time and storage, you will note in the pictures that some of the petals are chipped(only 3 or 4) there is some fading of the finish, see pictures for better details. It measures: 8.5" in height X 7" wide. From online research: The Von Schierholz porcelain factory was established in 1815 in Plaue. Thuringia, East Germany. In the early days of the factory it was controlled by the sovereign, Gunther Friedrich Carl I, from his castle at Sondershausen. The biscuit jar is Lotus shaped and sits on 4 feet. I believe this piece was made in Germany not 100% sure.This piece is very pretty and nice vivid colors.The thing I can see wrong looks to a small ruptured spot under one of the burgundy roses(nothing major) and there is a small extra piece of porcelain inside the jar. Antique Biscuit Jar by Z.S. Co of Bavaria Germany; c 1880-1918, Beautiful
This is a beautiful antique biscuit jar from Bavaria Germany. The maker is Z.S. Company. With a makers mark that dates the piece back to 1880 through 1918(photo 5) The name of the pattern is Richmond, which appears above the mark. The jar presents in excellent condition, despite its great age. There are no chips or cracks. The only flaw to report is some gold loss around the edge of the lid( photos 2& 7) The piece is very delicately made, and very pretty to look at. It is done in thin white porcelain with a pink and white design of roses all around. The bottom of the jar has a scalloped edge. It stands 7 and a 1/2 in tall, and measures 17 in all the way around at the widest point. The weight is just under 2 pounds. This is a marvelous piece, rich with history, charm and grace. I imagine collectors and enthusiasts would love to own a piece ... moresuch as this one. Without a doubt, it will display beautifully.

It is a pristine Victorian Biscuit Jar completely original with its matching china lid. This is a good size piece of porcelain. We believe it is from the German area and the style is of the RS Prussia high quality porcelain. The barrel measures 6" tall by 8 1/2" wide at the handles. The finish is very good with a nice glaze& delicate brightly colored Roses. Mums, Daisey's. There are no chips cracks nor restoration. There is a fair bit of gold wear, but it is only normal wear from its Antiquity. This is a turn of the century Jar that has been well kept for over 100 plus years. Pair Antique Hand Painted RS Prussia/RS Germany Cache Pot and Stands
This auction is for a pair of hand panted cache pots or jardinières. They sit upon detachable stands and measure 8" tall on stands and 6" off. The mark is hard to read. So I can't tell if it is RS Germany, or RS Prussia. There is some discoloration to the bases as pictured. It looks to me like it is due to fertilizer being used to fertilize the plants in the pots.

Antique Porcelain Biscuit/Cracker Jar from Louise Germany-Early 1900's-Ex. Cond.
For Sale: Antique Hand Painted porcelain biscuit/cracker jar from Louise Germany. There is an emblem on the back that reads J C Louise Germany. I can't make out the top name above J C. It is from the very early 1900's. Possibly earlier. This is a lovely biscuit jar. Hand painted in different greens with white roses. There is a handle on each side. It has a lid with a swirl handle on the top. There is gold color around the handles and edges of lid and jar. 6" across the top Handles come out 1" from jar. 7 3/4" width including the handles. Lid 5 1/2" I never used this as a biscuit jar. Just as display in my home. There are NO chips or scratches. It would be hard to find another piece in this wonderful condition. With the lid off, the height is about 6" The Diameter of the lids for these 4 Canisters is about 4" The Smaller Canisters- Cloves and Allspice- each stand about 4" Tall- measured to the top of their lid handles. The height is about 3 1/2" The Diameter of the lids for these 2 Canisters is about 2 1/2" The Porcelain is a beautiful Bright Shiny White punctuated by upper and lower Transfer Black Bands featuring tiny Pink Roses and Blue Flowers on the front of the cannisters. The backs do not have the floral transferware trim. They were made in Germany. For the most part the condition is really good. They have a lovely shine. Antique Royal Bonn Germany Vase Porcelain, Green, Purple, Yellow, White
It is estimated that the item up for bid was made sometime between the late 1800s and early 1900s. Overall the vase is in very good condition. There are no sign of breakage or repairs. The gild is nearly gone from inside the rim and there is a hairline. Superficial crack on the inside of the rim. Primary colors are green. Yellow, purple and white. Royal Bonn is the nineteenth-and twentieth-century trade name used by Franz Anton Mehlem. Who had a pottery in Bonn, Germany, from 1836 to 1931. Porcelain and earthenware were made. Royal Bonn used a monogram-and-tower mark that appeared on exported pottery only with Germany added. The factory was purchased by Villeroy& Boch in 1921 and closed in 1931. Here is a very pretty antique pottery biscuit/cookie jar from Franz Ant Mehlem Royal Bonn of Germany. It has a fluted shape with gorgeous hand painted Chrysanthemum flowers and blue trim coloring. It has some light crazing and a couple little darker areas of crazing on the lid. There is a couple short tight hairlines on the inner rim. They were really hard to photogram. The bottom has the castle marked and FAM Bonn Germany around 1885-1920. It stands about 6 1/2" tall to the top of the lid. A beautiful item for the collector. Shipping is available Monday-Friday.
