Up for auction is a beautiful antique porcelain BISCUIT CRACKER JAR. It is beautifully decorated with pink roses and shades of pink fading in and out. It is a stunning piece. It is marked on the bottom Three Crown China GERMANY. It is in excellent condition except for the one little nick on the inside rim. You don't notice it since it is on the underside mostly. The lid. The handles and the body are all Excellent. This lovely antique piece has been on display on my marble top victorian buffet for quite some time. It is very pretty and a wonderful example of an early victorian era biscuit jar. It would make a lovely gift as well. VERY PRETTY Please feel free to ask any questions. I accept paypal. Up for bid is one antique. Art nouveau German Hutschenreuther porcelain china biscuit or cracker jar. Two handled jar measures approx. 10-1/4" wide-handle tip to handle tip. Height measures 5-1/4" to top of lid finial. Pink. Floral transfers on both sides of jar and lid. Color is green fading to an almost antique white. Edge of lid and jar rim trimmed in gold gilt. Handle tips and finial also have some gold detail. Bottom bears a green stamp that has a"JHR" or"JR" within a circle, Hutschenreuther Gelb" in script and"Bavaria" Condition is very good to excellent. Estate found.wonderful antique porcelain German spice canister jar with windmill motif. This jar held Nelken(cloves) In excellent condition with only minor gold gilt loss. What appears to be a tiny fleabite on the inside rim under the lid is a factory flaw and glazed over. The white spots on the blue transfers that appear to be paint loss are actually white enameled decoration. Measures approx. 4.5" tall x 2 5/8" across x 2 1/4" wide. A welcome addition to any collection.

Lovely antique porcelain hand painted biscuit jar. This piece is not marked. But I am certain from the design, quality of porcelain, and overall look that it is German. The inset lid has eight"points" and a small knob at the top. There is gilt trim and a scalloped design. The main feature is the beautiful variety of flowers and colors. There are Pansies, Zinnias, and other flowers in coral, lavender, pink, gold, and white. The bottom is also scalloped. It measures 6 inches in height, 6 inches in diameter at the widest point, and 4 inches inches in diameter at the most narrow point. A lovely piece. The background is a creamy tone. The top has a fluted, scalloped edge and the sides of the jar have a swirled scalloped shape. The lid is silver plate with a pineapple shaped final, it has some spots of tarnish, no dents or dings. Large size; the jar is 5 3/4" high, 6 3/4" with the lid, 5 1/4" across. FINE ANTIQUE GERMAN AEROZON PORCELAIN POTPOURRI JAR WITH CHINOISERIE DECORATION
This potpourri jar is in the form of a small bulbous lidded Chinese ginger jar.This is a delicate piece of porcelain beautifully decorated with prunus blossoms. One of the most regarded floral motifs in Chinese art. The main enamel is famille noire- it is the backdrop for the white prunus flowers, the gilt leaves and brown intertwining branches and a fluttering lonesome dove. There is green shrubbery growing from the foot of the jar. The brim of the lid and the neck of the jar are both decorated with T frets. The pierced vents on the body of the jar are arranged like flowers as well. This was probably made from 1910 to the 30's. There is a faint scripted Aerozon mark and DRGM which some believe means that this design and product is protected by copyright but not patented. Seller advises buyer to further research. The lid can be closed ... moretightly into the opening of the jar because both have grooves. The jar is in excellent condition- no chips or cracks. The wood stand came with the jar.The foot has residue from the putty that kept the jar in place. There is some light staining both on the rim of the jar and lid. The jar is 6" high; the mouth is a little under 2" the foot is 2 3/4 across; the belly is 14" around.

Lovely Bavarian-style biscuit jar with applied floral motifs and handpainted gilt trim manufactured in the late 1800s. The body of the jar is further enhanced by beautiful blue flowers. It stands approximately 6 3/4" tall and has a diameter. At its widest point, of about 5" The diameter of the opening under the lid is 3 5/8" It's in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks whatsoever; only a bit of wear on the handpainted gilt. There is a makers mark of crossed swords with a crown and the initials R&G. This a wonderful addition to any serious collector's display hutch. Shelf or curio cabinet.
