Great antique condition with just few ... moresmall insignificant dings, some tarnish etc. but overall great antique condition. I’ve been collecting these domes for decades because they bring a modern elegance to a space and this look is hard to come by. They can be used in many different ways ……. Look great displayed on top of furniture or below furniture or just simply displayed. This dome has no monogram and cartouche is empty. What a wonderful classic look!! And the neoclassical design is beautiful! Priced to sell

ANTIQUE LATE 19th C.ENGLISH LG.PORCELAIN BISCUIT JAR-"GAUDY WELSH" STYLE COLORS
This large biscuit jar is in lovely condition. With no damage or loss of design. I have not seen one with this design. It has a slight"Gaudy Welsh" look to it, but with that Victorian update! It measures 9" 22.8 cm) in height including the raised handle, 7 1/4" 18.4 cm) in height with the handle lowered and is 5 1/2" 14 cm) in diameter at the widest point. It has four alternating green diamond panels with a peach colored leaf and gold sprigging over the green color. There are 4 half sunflowers at the bottom and top of each green panel. There are four alternating angled panels of"Gaudy Welsh" style orange and blue flowers, with gold trim. The jar is not marked except with the pattern number#160. All the colors are hand-painted over the glaze and are in lovely condition with no areas of worn off paint. The ... moresilver top, rim and handle are not marked except inside the lid, where there is a#6 and beneath that S 7474. I assume it is EPNS(electroplated nickel silver) as most of these of this era were. The handle has the two sections that split at the top to hold an oval plate. The lid is incised with very detailed and well done ferns. There is a $1.00 charge for a new box within a larger new box and ample packing material to ensure safe delivery. The silver color is very bright and nice, but sometimes the reflections show other colors. International Buyers Please Note: Import duties. Taxes and related charges are not included in the item price or shipping and handling charges. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Please check with your countrys customs office to determine what these Additional costs will be. What items are illegal to import, as well as what postage fees will be before bidding or buying.

Ebay now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale(see my feedback) However, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an auction or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Antique Vintage English Biscuit Jar/Cracker Barrel Hand Painted Artist Signed
A beautiful antique/vintage hand painted artist signed ceramic and metal(the metal looks to me like silver plate) English biscuit jar or perhaps a cracker barrel with gorgeous floral designs and wonderful colors! The piece measures to be about 7" tall( about 9" with handle up) x about 7" wide x about 7" deep. I am not an expert. But I believe the piece dates from the late Victorian era or Edwardian era, but it is possible for the piece to be a bit later. Please note this piece is being sold for decorative and/or collection purposes and is not intended to be used to actually store or serve food from. I could not find any mark identifying the maker of the jar itself and I could not make out the artists signature. However there is a mark on the lid which says"B.H.A. MANUFACTURED IN ENGLAND" I did some on line research ... moreand found there was a notable English silver smith by the name of Barnett Henry Abrahams. Which used the initials BHA, and which apparently made lids for some of Wedgwood's biscuit jars. I do not think this biscuit jar was made by Wedgwood and the mark used by Barnett Henry Abraham had rectangles around the B, the H and the A, instead of periods after each letter, like the mark on our lid. But I think there is still a good possibility that Barnett Henry Abrahams, which operated in the same period I believe this jar was made, might have been the producer of our lid. Though the exact pedigree of this biscuit jar is not clear. What is clear is that it is an exceptionally beautiful piece and it is in very good antique/vintage condition! Like all items of significant age and use, it does have some minor faults including: craquelure and small surface cracks, chipping, rubbing, discoloration including some stray paint marks, paint loss, scratches, discoloration and tarnish. Please look carefully at the photos to see some examples of the condition of the biscuit jar. Please note some things are too small to record in the photos and the series of fine horizontal lines seen in t

Antique English Porcelain Homestead Biscuit Barrel Excellent Condition
Antique English biscuit barrel made of porcelain. The barrel has homestead design on both ends. The body has hand painted pine leaf branches in gold. The lid has a ribboned bow decorated in gold. There are two gold knobs on the sides. On the base of the barrel there is a number of 1877 and the letter M. I am not sure if that was the year made. Apart from losing some of the gold decorations around the bow. The knobs and the lid where it was touched a lot the barrel is in excellent condition. There is no chip or crack. Measurement: 14 cm x 14.5 cm x 13.5 cm'Most of my collection is one of a kind. I bought the items because I liked it for myself. They were never intended to be resold. Each item has a story and when possible I hand carried in my luggage from all over the world to bring back to Australia. Antique 1820s English SILVER LUSTRE Lid Jar/Trinket Box: Poor Man's Silver #2
Antique 1820s English SILVER LUSTRE Lid Jar/Trinket Box: Poor Man's Silver#2 Up for sale is a rare antique English silver lustre lid jar or trinket box or perhaps a serving piece for the dinner table. When the middle class began to emerge in the early to mid 19th century they wanted silver serving sets like the upper class. But couldn't afford it. That's when these economical earthenware silver lustre pieces were crafted-their shiny silver was popular with the middle class. The jar is 4.75" in diameter and the piece is 3.5" tall(not counting the top knob) The inside of the jar is a shiny black. There's a single tiny nick on the rim as in the last photo on the right side and another tiny nick on the unseen inside rim. Both are very minor and this is a great piece with only mild silver loss from wear. It's a rare ... morepiece. I purchased this at an estate auction and it had a tag dating it as 1820s. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again. But most people will have a much shorter wait and some will have very fast shipping. No one will have to wait more than 5 business days. Thank you for understanding.

Antique 1800s English Pottery Coffee Pot Lidded Biscuit Jar Ceramic British Mark
Antique Coffee Pot with Matching Lidded Biscuit Jar. The base mark dates this to the 1800s. As from 1842 to 1883, the British Patent Office issued registration numbers inside of a diamond so that the public could be assured of quality and a true British design. Unfortunately, the mark is now mostly unreadable, and we cannot ascertain the date of registration. The top mark is definitely the Roman Numeral IV, and therefore that assured the customer that this material is Clay Ware. The Coffee Pot Measures approximately 8-1/2" tall including its lid. And 8-1/8" across from handle to spout. It will hold 60 fluid ounces. The covered Biscuit Jar is 7" tall and 6" across from handle to handle. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips. Rare ANTIQUE 18THC ENGLISH CREAMWARE PEARLWARE TEA CADDY w/ OLD DUTCH SILVER TOP
I am listing a variety of nice estate-fresh Antique and Vintage Items this week. Here is a lovely and possibly rare ANTIQUE ENGLISH FLUTED CREAMWARE(OR PEARLWARE? TEA CADDY JAR WITH FLOWER DESIGNS and DUTCH HALLMARKED SILVER COLLAR AND LID. Probably c.1790-1800 vintage. Caddy is approx. 5" tall and 3-1/4" diameter. Extra-nice tea caddy with the fluted sides. I am assuming the silver top was added later in it's history to cover damaged collar. The silver is hallmarked on both the collar and the lid with an older Dutch sword silver hallmark along with a strange triangular-shaped hallmark with designs in it next to sword which I am unfamiliar with. Interior of collar is lined with brass. The tea caddy has some flaws. You can see a chipped area showing under bottom of silver collar where the collar was damaged. Also a single hairline ... morecrack going down shoulder on one side. The bottom has a chipped hole spot on it which goes through to interior. Another chipped spot to the bottom rim. The silver lid fits nice and snugly on caddy. There are some mild irregularities on lid but nothing bad. Very pretty piece of antique English creamware. Coming fresh out of an antique English pottery collector's estate this past weekend. INSURANCE INCLUDED in the shipping total. Massachusetts buyers pay the 6.25% sales tax. Look for my other nice Old Items I am listing as well. See listing for payment and shipping details. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks for looking!

Antique English? Hand Painted Porcelain Jar with Lid Roses - Used
Up for auction is a very pretty antique jar with lid. Not much known about this but my guess is it is English from the Victorian era(early 1900's) It has no maker's marks. There is a number written in brown on the base(671? and on the inside of the lid(17) Jar is a beautiful graduated aqua blue color and has hand painted old English roses repeated around it's middle and on the lid. There is gold trim around the rim of the lid. On the finial and around the base. It does have one repaired chip/break on the rim of the jug which is not all that noticeable. Jar measures approx. 7" from base to top of finial and approx. 6.5" in diameter at it's widest point. A lovely collectible or décor piece for any room. Happy Bidding!
