Which is an array of pink, blue and yellow geometric floral-like discs, heavily fluted and gadrooned top edge with a branch-like heavy handle which travels downware into the footing of the bowl. The branch is adorned with flowers and leaves. It is a large size- measuring 13.5" from handle to handle and is 8.75" wide and is 3-1/8" high(not including handles) There is an area which has been professionally repaired. Appears to have been a large chip which was put back together. So if looking very closely you can see the seams and tiny missing pieces. Listing is for an antique earthernware flat bottom bowl in a dark brown glaze. Item is approximately 8 1/2" wide at the top and 4" tall. Item in good condition(see Item description. Above) The darker material around the band is not where the dark brown glaze has worn thin, but residue from years of use. It will flake off with your finger nail, if you inclined to remove it. Very Old Rustic Chinese Glazed Earthenware Bowl Pottery with black decorations
Hello and thank you for taking a peek. This is a very old earthenware bowl. I was told this bowl is from China. But I really have no idea about it's origins. You can tell it's age. It is very rustic and hand made. The glaze is a white with black details in bandsand rosettes. There are no chips or nicks but there is some glaze cracks. Also it appears as if the marker touched up some of the black glaze with flat paint or it was done some time later. The bottom is very rustic and it is hard to tell but there may be a signature on the bottom, but it is so messy it may just be clay. There are firing missed glaze spots and it could stand to be cleaned up a bit. It is 7.5 inches wide and 4.25 inches tall. See pics for details. Selling as is so please ask questions. Enjoy~

Antique 1887 EDGE, MALKIN & CO Brown Earthenware Plate / Bowl 9x5" TRENTHAM
This classic EDGE. MALKIN& CO piece has the number 26620 stamped in the middle of the bottom, and a brown stamp with the No. 77306, that is the registration number for the year 1887. Above the number: The word TRENTHAM, the letter B, the company's logo E.M.Co, and the picture of a sitting greyhound. This small oval plate(9x5" is just under 1-1/2" tall. Very heavy and in remarkably good condition for its age. It looks very old fashioned(it has various shades of brown) and the glaze seems to have rubbed off in a few areas. It has a small chip on the foot rim and an inside hair line that is under the glaze and doesn't reach the rim(see picture with ruler/ above the 2" mark)

This primitive antique small footed earthenware bowl is Dutch. Circa 17th century. It measures 5 1/4" in diameter, with a footed base measuring 2 1/2" in diameter. There are no cracks of any kind, and although there are obvious chips on the face of the bowl, its vivid green color is what makes it interesting. Antique French Country Confit Bowl Earthenware Green Glaze ca: Late 1800's This is a beautiful old bowl in a large size. These are very popular with designers and anyone with a country kitchen. The bowl is in good old condition with quite a bit of crazing and some scattered chips to the glaze. No cracks though. It measures approx. 10 1/8" wide X 4 1/2" deep.

Antique 1800s Bowl Soup Serving Davenport England Ironstone Earthenware 8 sided
Antique Bowl- large soup or serving. Measuring 10 1/2" in diameter, point to point and just under 2" high. Has 2 marks on the bottom. Dating mark and factory mark. Davenport England Ironstone. I cannot read the dating mark. Circa 1840s to 1880s somewhere. Outer top lip has 8 sides. With scalloping raised edge decoration, about 1/2 to 3/4" in. Beautiful old piece of earthenware. For 160-175 years old. Quite good. NOT a chip or crack or hairline- NONE. Does have overall crazing- photos of marks are greatly enhanced. Not like that to the naked eye. Kiln marks and natural time staining spots.

18th Century 11 1/2" Spanish Talavera Majolica Earthenware Bowl Charger
I have for you consideration an 18th Century Spanish Talavera Majolica Earthenware Bowl. This is a very good example of an early Talavera earthenware bowl with a ruffled edge. The interior surfaces are glazed in shades of green. Yellow gold, ochre, accents of indigo and manganese brown which outlines the all over creamy white background. This bowl is a bit oval in shape. Measuring just over 11 1/2" at it's widest, 2 1/2" deep. Majolica and fiance were made at Talavera de la Reine and at neighboring Puente del Arzobizso in Castile from the early 16th Century. No factory marks were ever used. They developed an original style of painting. The colors were dominated by powerful green. Canary yellow and a thick orange and to some extent by a heavy blue. Horseman, hunting scenes, building, trees, animals, birds, figures and coats of ... morearms were much favored motifs. This bowl is in remarkable shape for it's age. Does show some firing flaws and wear from age. The only visible damage is the hairline that is pictured and the small piece that is missing at the edge hairline. This hairline is very tight and bowl when tapped has that high pitched ring. Please view the 12 photos provided for a closer look as they serve as the most important part of the description. Antique French Faience Earthenware Barber Bowl Guichard de Moustiers 1800's
Up for auction is an antique French faience barber bowl marked on the bottom"Guichard de Moustiers" from the early 1800's. Moustiers is a town in France where faience wares were(and still are) produced. This bowl has a curved out area on the rim so that it can sit snugly under a man's chin while he is being shaved. This bowl has a pretty hand painted village scene in the center medallion and floral decorations around the edges. It is in very good condition for its age. There are no cracks. Crazing to the glaze or chips-just the glaze loss and shallow flakes on the corner tips of the curved area. There are a couple of factory flaws on the bottom of the bowl.
