0 0 1 251 1436 wbgfoods 11 3 1684 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Antique English Royal Porcelain Punch Bowl– EXTRA LARGE Growing up with ... moresuch amazing surroundings at my Grandparents home. I don’t think we had any idea of how special and rarified an atmosphere it really was. My Grandmother had these very large punch bowls or fruit bowls everywhere. She loved them! They were like sculptures to her, and she loved their grand size. Often she would put huge plants in them. At Christmas time, they might hold poinsettia plants and at Easter, magnificent blue and pink hydrangeas. This beautiful extra-large punch bowl dates back to the late 19 th century. We can date it from the mark on the bottom of the bowl to be about 1890-1910. It was made by The Royal Porcelain Company in Furnivals. England. It is stamped on the bottom with the company name and their mark– an anchor crossed with a sword. This beautiful bowl measures approximately 18 inches in diameter. And is 10 inches high. It is scalloped around the rim and bottom of the stand. It is hand-painted with medallions of ornate daisy design connected by a scroll border. The background color is white with sepia tones connected to a magnificent turquoise wide band– both inside and out. There is a gold rim on top and bottom– with wear consistent with age. However, this magnificent bowl is in wonderful condition considering its age and use. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. If you would value having and using this huge bowl in your own home. We would be very pleased for you to have it. We do want it to go to someone’s home that will use it and care for it. Object: Extra-large punch bowl Material: Porcelain Measurements: 18 inch diameter; 10 inches high. Age: 1890-1910

Antique English Scottish Porcelain Hand Painted BOWL Pink Luster c1820s
ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED ENGLISH OR PERHAPS SCOTTISH PORCELAIN BOWL C1820S I SHIP WORLDWIDE IMPORTANT BIDDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO BID ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY EBAY. Ebay now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale(see my feedback) However, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an auction or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that there is more than one item you ... moreare interested in bidding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage. I never charge a"handling fee" I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately- not ship- and then be scored negatively by eBay for not shipping soon enough. Offered in this sale is an antique English or perhaps Scottish porcelain bowl decorated with hand painted decoration that I would date circa 1820s. It measures 3" tall x 6 1/8" in diameter. The condition is very good. It has one small glaze flake on the side of the bowl which you can see illustrated in the 4th image to the right of the flower. And a small"in the making" chip on the edge of the foot rim which is covered with glaze. Other than that there are no chips, crack, flakes or hairlines. It rings like a bell when you tap it. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything is being sold WITHOUT A RESERVE

Antique English Porcelain Bowl & Underplate - Bird - Ornithology Theme Decor
Description: A really good example of antique continental porcelain. Early to mid-19th century. It is a double handled bowl with underplate. Both pieces are remarkably decorated with images of different types of birds, including roosters and the more exotic. The quality of the painting is exceptional. It is not signed; however, it does from a local Swiss estate whereby the owners were anglophiles and collected many fine English antiques. From the painting, theme and the way it is manufactured and the unglazed bottom of the base; it could be English or perhaps, German but somehow instincts hint at English. Regardless, it is a very fine piece. For size comparisons, the bowl is 6 inches wide(including handles) Condition: fine hairline in one side of bowl and rubbing at gold paint at edge of plate in small areas
Antique 18/19C English Bristol Lowestoft Paste Porcelain Flowers Bugs Plate Bowl
For auction: Antique 18/19C English Bristol Lowestoft Paste Porcelain Flowers Bugs Plate Bowl Charming design of flowers and bugs with a center flower that seems like flow blue? Picked this up from a local estate filled with porcelain and pottery from the 18th and 19th century. Couldn't find a pattern in my online searching but from the gold"plus" mark on the back I think it might be Bristol porcelain from the UK. Interesting porcelain has speckles in it which appear characteristic to be of that era of paste porcelain. Bowl also makes that ringing sound singularly found in paste porcelain. Terrific bowl measures 8 5/8" across- condition note is on tiny nick to the rim as shown in photos. Shipping in the US is $10.00; out of the U.S. please email me for an insured shipp ing estimate. An Exquisite Cobalt & Gold English Porcelain Bowl -Hand Painted Flowers,1830
This exquisitely decorated small bowl dates to the early 19th. century. We feel sure it is English. Probably Spode. It was undoubtedly part of a larger dinner set, now and retains an old, and early pattern number, 835" on the back. A nice. Heavily gilded rim, deep cobalt blue border, overlaid with an incredible lattice of gilding; molded details in the porcelain of flourishes create three reserves, which are called out in yellow and than overlaid, again with lavish gilding. Each reserve encloses small sprigs of hand painted flowers. The pure white porcelain center of the bowl is handpainted with rose bouquets and more gilded flowers. This must have been very expensive when new. It is stunning. And the painting is extremely well done. A real treasure! Measures 5.75" in diameter and stands 1" tall. Great for use as a candy bowl. ... moreOr a serving bowl for condiments at dinner, or just for an elegant display. It really is a work of art. Thanks for looking. I hope you can Check out my!

England. It is stamped on the bottom with the ... morecompany name and their mark– an anchor crossed with a sword. Very Early English Soft Paste Porcelain Blue Transfer Decorated 6" Bowl.c.1800.
This very beautiful early soft paste English porcelain bowl has an oriental inspired decoration. Similar yet quite different to the early Blue Willow pieces. The transfer is a lovely powdery blue and is enhanced by a rich glaze. The bowl is 6" in diameter and just under 3" tall with a deep foot rim, characteristic of the pieces made around 1800 which is where we date this piece. Considering it is over 200 years old it is amazing that it is in such pristine condition. A truly fine collector's piece.
