This is a pretty pair of mid-19th century porcelain bowls. They are handpainted similarly in what we've come to know as a"sprigware" pattern. The only marking is the number"16" on the reverse. Their exact origin is unknown. They are most probably saucers. But are deep enough to be small bowls. Each is 5 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The condition of each is excellent. There are no chips or cracks. There is a little very light crazing on the reverse.

A beautiful pair of Italian Art Deco nut dishes o deep rectangular shape. Yellowish tan ground with central hand painted pictures of stylized circus life. One shows a trainer with a horse in the ring and a small dog with spectators. The other shows a horse jumping with a clown in the background. Up for auction are 4 small but beautiful. Antique handpainted sauce bowls. The bowls appear to be accented with gold, something that was popular in the late 1800's to early 1900's so that is probably when they were made. Each bowl depicts a different type of flower and they are each 3.5 inches in diameter. Given their age, they are in excellent condition with not chips, or cracks. The gold around the rim is showing some wear but this is normal for an antique like this. Three of the bowls are unmarked but one of them has some sort if makers mark or number inscribed in gold on the back- I was not able to find the maker. The bowls are marked on the bottom with the underglaze green Ginori mark(some of the marks are incomplete) the orange crown Ginori Italy mark, the hand painted in blue mark, the number 218 which is probably the pattern number. With luscious shell and scroll molding on the rim, painted in many shades of pink, red, blue. purple, yellow and green, all highlighted with that heavy gilding that only antique pieces have. The bowls are marked with an impressed Prussian double-headed eagle, the letter"A" and a green painted scepter mark. KPM used the impressed double-headed eagle mark during this period, but other companies did as well, so I will say this is from Northern Germany, possibly by KPM. It dates to circa 1840. Set of 2 Antique Imperial Russian Gardner Porcelain Bowls
This set of two imperial Russian bowls appear to date from the mid 1800's. They were produced by the Gardner porcelain factory. The first private porcelain manufacturer in Russia, founded in 1766 by English merchant Francis Gardner in the village of Verbilki, Dmitrovsky district, Moscow province. The superb quality of Gardner porcelain enabled it to compete with the expensive products of the Imperial Porcelain Factory. For many years the Gardner factory retained its reputation as a manufacturer of the highest quality and sold its products abroad as well as on the domestic market. In 1892 the factory was sold to Matvei Kuznetsov and became part of the company bearing its name. These two bowls are in very good condition. With very minimal paint loss and no chips or cracks. Gorgeous Pair 6 3/4" Antique English Derby Imari Porcelain Shallow Bowls I tried researching this particular mark but couldn't find it. I believe it is a 19th century English Derby hallmark. Beautiful Imari pattern with cobalt flow blue. Dark brownish red, and gold colors. No damage but there is some paint wear along the rims. The hallmark on the back looks like japanese writing with"DERBY" beneath it. This hallmark is under the glaze. There also appears to be a letter"N" off to the side. The bowls measure 6 3/4" across and stand 1 1/4" tall. Please feel free to ask questions. I would love to hear from you if you have any info on these bowls. Particularly, the age. This is a beautiful piece of vintage German porcelain.Colorful antique reticulated round bowl. Finely detailed. Center is a portrait of two young lovers courting in the garden. Courting couple is in 18th-19th century attire. Perhaps Victorian. Dish is accented with two concentric circles of gold gilt, in addition to the gold trimmed rim. Porcelain is done in a basket like weave. Bottom says Germany. Measures 5" in diameter x 1 1/4" high. Both bowls are in great condition with no chips, no scratches and no crazing. This beautiful shallow porcelain bowl features a hand-painted vignette of Brandenburger Tor(hand painted on the back) or the Brandenburg Gate. The Brandenburg Gate is a former city gate. Rebuilt in the late 18th century as a neoclassical triumphal arch. And is now one of the most well-known landmarks of Germany. This lovely bowl measures 8-5/8” in diameter and almost 1-1/2” high. It features a beautiful warm pink enameled background with lavish gold decoration and a hand-painted center medallion of the palace. I think the gold decoration may be a transfer print. This is very good porcelain– rings like a bell when lightly thumped– and is signed on the back with the hand painted“Brandenburger Tor” and a blue. Underglaze mark that resembles the 1870-1945 KPM long blue ... moremark. KPM stands for Konigliche Porzellan Manufacktur in Meissen. I say“resemble” because this mark has been used on non-KPM porcelain and I’m not familiar enough with it to say for sure. There are also the impressed numbers“2- I can’t read the 2 nd number. In this auction we have a pair of antique porcelain floral ... morechina bowls. The first of the two has a lovely floral hand painted decor. Trimmed around the edge in gold gilt. A light blue rose with a smaller pink rose, greenery surrounding the two. It has a small handle on one side and measures approx. 7 3/8" across and 2" tall. There is wear to the gold gilt and also to the hand painted decor, though only minor. The second bowl we have in this auction is our luster bowl stamped Bavaria. This piece also is decorated with a gold gilt pattern on four sides and has a nice floral transfer on the bottom of the bowl. The luster just makes this bowl come to life! It measures approx. 8 7/8" across and 2 1/2" tall. There are small marks on the outside of the bowl and wear to the gold gilt and transfer though only minor. Hand painted or hand decorated PFK Germany Berry Bowls 4 Three different town scenes. Three peach borders& one pink. They appear to be hand painted under a magnifying glass. The gold& color borders are worn on rim. Each have defects from many years of being used or factory defects. 1/8" deep X 5 1/2" wide. Pink- castle with a flay that has 1813 on it. Has a very tiny chip on under-side of the rim. Marked P.F.K. Peach#1 Mill on the water. Has a thin crack on side approx. 5/8" that can be seen but cannot be felt with my finger nail. Marked P.F.K. Peach#2 Factory on a river bank. Has a black dot in the glaze near the top rim& two marks in the glaze inside the bowl. Both factory defects. Marked P.F.K. Peach#3 Factory on a river bank. This bowl is a very beautiful bowl.And has very unique colors. Different Greens. Fucias, Cream, and Rose color, all blended togeather, with a flower in the center. It is possibly a Bavaria bowl. It has all the coloring an markings and design of a Bavaria bowl, but you can not read the marking on the bottom. It is so worn but compared to other Bavaria bowls, the marking has the same design and color and markings. There is a small chip on the bottom of the bowl you can feel if you run your hands along edges. But cannot see from the top. If you turn the bowl over then you can see the small chip.

Antique, vintage, two character marks, porcelain cereal bowls
For your bidding; here are these two porcelain cereal bowls beautifully decorated with flowers. Vines and leafs and painted with colors of blue, pink, yellow, white and aqua green. The outsides have three blue ring circles and two character marks. I could not specifically identify age or era made, but to the best of my research, these are antique porcelain bowls. May be Chinese. The bowls have some light scratch marks. One bowl has two small chips; overall they are in very good condition. Three Antique Sevres Mark Porcelain Hand Painted Bowls signed "Paul''
This is a group of 3 bowls. They appear to be hand painted and with a signature. Done in a colonial style. Two of the bowls have the same scene, and after close inspection with 2 different strength magnifying glasses, I have concluded that there is hand painting. They may have been painted over a stencil, but there are definitely differences, including the signature(Paul) You can also see different thicknesses of paint through out. Please use the close up photos to see the details. They do look old and original. The bowls are about 4 1/8" in diameter. And about 1 1/4" deep. Set of 5 porcelain pieces. Produced by KPM company in Berlin, timeframe of 1904 to 1927, exact date unknown. Basket of fruits design on interior, all KPM products were hand-painted and unique. Some wear on the design and gold paint. But no chip damage or cracks. Salt-shaker included with dishes. Maker unknown, but has"Austria" printed on bottom. Gold paint on top, geometric symbols painted on side. Has a cork plug on bottom. Shaker has more scratches on top than the dishes. But still in decent condition.
