Please be patient there are 46 more photos to be loaded in this auction. In this auction we have the second of two antique yelloware food molds. Both from the late 1800's discovered at an Estate sale in Eastern Pennsylvania. Octagon in shape with a cluster of grapes in the bottom, a nice ribbed pattern around the top. It has a few small chips to the rim and fleabytes to the base, overall crazing to the glaze and wear that would commensurate with the age and use of the mold. We found no cracks or breaks. A kitchen dream. Very early Antique 3-bowl Yellow-ware set- 3 bowls: 14 inches across, 12 inches across and 10- inches across. This is a nice primitive banded yelloware butter crock. One condition issue to mention is the hairline that runs through the E in butter. I have had good luck making pottery lines not look so visiable by soaking the piece in Oxyclean. Also 2 or 3 small fleas bites that are very hard to see on the bottom edge. This bowl is 5 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches high. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There are 5 brown bands on the sides and one white band. The middle brown band is wider than the others. Bottom rim has one tiny chip not visible from front view. A very nice piece.

Vintage Spatter Spongware 4 Small Yellow Ware Bowls This listing is for these 4 vintage to antique yelloware stoneware bowls. They are marked but only one mark is really visible. It is USA 796. These are Brush McCoy Nurock and this line was made by Brush McCoy in the teens. This is similar to many of the Bennington pieces. They have a sponged or spattered glaze. These measure 5 inches diameter and 2 inches tall. They are in very good condition with the exception of one in the making flaw on one. One has a firing flaw as shown. The rest are free of any cracks. Chips or damage and the interiors are clean too. There is a light age crazing but bid with confidence since it is minor and not a distraction. Antique Yellow Ware Bread Rising Covered Bowl Perfect Condition
I have been told by several people and dealers that this piece is a bread rising bowl which is why there is a cover If you have other information I would be happy to know. Bowl is in amazingly good condition top and bottom. Both pieces are about 10.5 in diameter Bowl is 4.5 with cover off and about 9 inhes high with the cover on. Bottom has rings and the words BAK-EZE ATT WARE USA. Both pieces together weigh 6+ pounds the pieces must be wrapped separately to prevent damage. I suggest UPS but I will use the post office if you wish. These pieces are expensive to ship properly but must be done correctly to insure safe arrival.

Lot 2 Pair Antique Spongeware Yellow Ware Rockingham Bennington Bowls
Up for auction is a pair of 2 antique spongeware bowls. Made in the 1800s. The pattern was made by daubing a brown color onto a yellow colored background with cut sponges, brushes, or pieces of cloth. The earliest examples are English. But it was quickly adopted by the American pottery industry as well. I found these at a local estate. Nice to have two for display or use in the kitchen. These bowls measure 5" wide and 2" tall. Good condition. Considering the age. Both bowls have age crazing. One bowl has slight 1" crack at the rim, doesn't go all the way through and really hard to see. Offered at a low starting bid. It comes with a lid and measures 7" across top(diameter)and it measures 3" deep(without lid) There is grazing inside according to age, there are no chips at all, and the lid is perfect! There is a hairline crack inside that I tried to capture, it does not take away from it's beauty and I mention it only for authentication. It has a clear glaze. There are no markings. This beautiful old mixing bowl measures 12" across and 5 1/2" tall. There are many production flaws such as bumps. Divets etc. as there is with most of these pcs. There is a crack on the outside. But does not go through to the inside. It appears to have glazeing over part of the crack. So this may have been another flaw in the production of this pc. 2 Antique Vintage Yellow Ware Bowls With Brown Stripes.
My wife and are down sizing. So here are two antique yellow ware bowls. We bought these years ago at the Harvest Festival Antique Sale and Show in Zoar. Ohio. The dealer we bought these from said they were from the early 1900's or possibly later. Both are in excellent condition no cracks or chips. There are dings or what some people call glaze pops, but nothing broke. There is roughness on the bottom from normal ware. There are some smudge or dirt marks. Both bowls match and display well together. The center brown band is thicker on the bigger bowl. The big bowls is 12 inches and the small bowl is 8 inches. These are old and not a reproduction. Antique Yellow Ware Sponge Ware Lided Casserole Rust and Green Ribbed Design
This nice antique yellow ware casserole and lid dates to the late 1800s/early 1900s. It has a ribbed design and is in a pleasing rust. Green and tan color. The casserole has two small handles and the lid has a finial for easy lifting and a hole for steam. A nice glaze with crazing covers the outside of the casserole and lid. This piece is in very good condition, especially when one considers the age and the fact that it was made for cooking and use in the kitchen. There are no cracks or repair to the piece and the only issue I can find is a small, shallow chip on the inside rim of the lid that is not visible to the display of the piece overall. The casserole without the lid measures just over 8 inches wide at the top and just over 7 inches wide at the base. It is 3 1/4 inches tall. It's been used a lot but shows this is an older yellow ware bowl. It has a smooth rim and lip is not pronounced. It has a lot of wear from cooking use. Brown on base and sides. There is a hairline crack but is very stable. This would look great in a step back cabinet or over the cabinets in a kitchen. If perfect it could bring a lot of money. 1920-30s Antique Stoneware Yelloware Yellow Ware Mixing Bowls, RRP & McCoy?
Here are 2 Depression era yellow ware stoneware bowls. The brown bowl is 8" across. Has decorative rings around it and a"shoulder" at the top. It is marked"USA 8IN" was possibly made by McCoy. The smaller beige bowl has 3 brown bands, a"shoulder" with indentations and a fan pattern in the clay. The markings on the bottom are hard to read due to the glaze, but I believe it says"RRP Co. Roseville OH, 305" from Robinson Ransbottom Pottery(1900 to 2005) These bowls are in good condition for their age. No chips or cracks that I can see, but they do have some marks on the bottom from being used, and some manufacturing flaws associated with this type of yellow ware. I have attached several photos of these flaws, please check them carefully and email me with any questions about this item.

This is an antique American yellowware pottery mixing bowl. It is approximately 5” in height and has a diameter of 9” It weighs approximately 3 lbs. The bowl is bottom impressed with“104/ and“U.S.A. This type of bowl was mold produced and came in various sizes. The rim collar underside and the rim surface were purposefully left unglazed. This is because the bowls were fired in kilns stacked together and this kept them from sticking together. Bowls like this were made c. 1880-1930 in the northeast and midwest especially in New Jersey and Ohio. This bowl has a hexagonal base with mold embossed decoration on the sides and rim collar. It also has 3 bands of blue slip decoration around the body which is glazed with an alkaline clear glaze. This particular bowl is an older bowl and was used. It has the ubiquitous crazing to the clear glaze that ... moreyou would look for in an older piece and age toning or mottling(see photos) Some of the glaze crazing resembles cracking. However. This fabulous mixing bowl is very. Very old and clearly has been well loved. It Measures approximately 9.5" diameter when measured from exterior top and 8.5" Diameter on interior top. It Stands approximately 4.5"H. There are a few nicks/chips under top rim and along base. There is extensive crazing to the glaze along with firing flaws such as ash specks/small pits from ash and popped glaze bubbles. There is a slight unevenness to it that makes me think it was primitively handmade. You can see the swirls from being turned on both the base and interior bowl base. The interior glaze is worn and isn't as shiny. There is a larger.25" diameter pit in bowl basin. It does not go all the way through. Some of the crazing on the top rim looks like hairlines, but does not appear to impact pottery. Thick, pale white/gray glazed stoneware body with cobalt blue wide rim. This was once a bail handle bowl as you can see the"knobs" on either side of the rim where the handle would have attached. The wire handle has gone missing at some point in the life of the piece. Good condition considering it would have been carried by a salesman from one country store to another.there are three"fleabites" each about the size of a pinhead(please see photos) There is also one super thin hairline on the interior just at the rim; this does not go all the way through and cannot be seen on the exterior. Antique vintage yellow ware stoneware pottery bowl deep cereal mixing mid size
An antique yellow ware bowl we believe dates to the late 19th- early 20th century. It is not marked. It measures approximately 7" across and stands just shy of 3.25" tall. Sort of big for a cereal bowl. But not quite mixing bowl size… right in between. There is a chip to the rim measuring less than a quarter inch in width, but it is under the glaze so we think it probably occurred in manufacturing(please see photos) There are some other imperfections such as allover crazing, some"pitting" or small dings/glaze skips/brown spots of discoloration, some of which we are unclear on whether they are manufacturing flaws or occurred later. My wife and I are down sizing. Here is a wonderful rust brown crock bowl. Great color and design. It is an antique. No cracks or big chips. There is a couple of dings or very small chips on the under side of the rim. I almost missed them when I inspected the bowl. Honestly you can hardly notice them(last picture) There are also a few scratches wear the brown is missing. Look at pictures. These might have been there when it was glazed. Vintage Antique Yellow Ware (Yelloware) Bowl
A beautiful 19th century Yellow Ware bowl with white and mocha bands. This bowl is in absolutely wonderful shape. There are no cracks or crazing. The one and only imperfection is that there is about a 3/4" line of the mocha(same as outside) paint on the inside. If you could see it in person. It is obviously a boo-boo by the person who made the bowl. This bowl is beautiful. I have shown both sides of the outside of the bowl in pics and tried to zero in on the line of paint so you could have a good look at it. The bowl is 9-1/2" in diameter and 9-1/4" across and a little over 4-1/4" tall.
