This is a beautiful Bavarian filigree bowl with white roses in the center with green leaves and some rose buds. There are two handles that are filigree. On the bottom. There are three marks: One reads: Bavarian China Handpainted-There is another mark signed 2327 with a 15 underneath and the third is Bavaria incised in the glaze with the mark also incised in the bowl. there is also a signature under one of the leaves in the inside of the bowl reading"Hagmann" It measures about 8 1/2 inches from handle to handle and about 4 inches tall from bottom to handle. Antique Max Roesler Bavarian White Fine Porcelain Reticulated Bowl 1894-1922
This auction is for a beautiful Antique Max Roesler(born- 1858. Died- 1922) Bavarian Fine White Porcelain Reticulated Bowl. The bowl has the original Blue under Glaze Pottery Stamp of RMR(it looks like RVR, but after research I found that it actually is RMR which stands for Roesler Max Rodach.Rodach being the town in Bavaria that the piece was made. The RMR is placed over a shield with a Rose on it. This particular stamp was the original stamp that was initially placed with the Landgericht Sacher-Coburg-Gotha on October 15, 1894. The Pottery Stamps did change as time went by, so I would have to assume that this particular bowl is one of the earlier pieces. Also incised on the bottom of the bowl are the numbers 5768 2. There is a small chip at the lip of the bowl and some slight discoloration in the bottom of the bowl. Striking Bavarian Porcelain Bowl Metallic Gold with Violets Motif features Unusual Upturned Handles Stouffer Studio Decorated. Artist Signed Chicago. Illinois This is a highly unusual and beautiful decorative bowl celebrating the violets that bloom in spring and would make a memorable gift or fabulous addition to your collection. We cannot date the piece exactly but we believe the artist to be Ethel R. Honey. An accomplished porcelain artist who worked for Stouffer Studios in the early part of the 20th century. This probable date is also supported by the shape of the piece. Very reminiscent of early 20th-century style. The uniquely-shaped. Upturned handles are painted in regal gold with a fleur-de-lis style design below. A wide band of gold surrounds the dish, offset slightly from the rim, and acts as a lovely backdrop and enhancement for ... morethe violet motif. Brilliant white was chosen for the lower portion of the background. Ethel painted purple violets, one large and two smaller, on the front and back with two types of green leaves[the rounder ones are violet leaves] to augment the design. The lustrous interior of the dish has a shining iridescence. Taking enormous pride in her work, Ethel signed'EH' clearly visible on the front of this piece. Dish measures approximately 7" from handle to handle; 6" excluding handles; about 3.5" from base to top of handle We have examined this bowl. And in our opinion it is in excellent condition. There is a hairline crack seen on the bottom near the porcelain mark; manufacturing anomalies do exist in the occasional tiny iron speck or dust'bump' in the glaze. But overall this piece is in excellent shape. No chips.

This is a really lovely B avarian porcelain bowl marked P T which represents the Tirshenreuth Porcelain factory circa 1903-1927. It has a ribbon marking saying hand painted on the back and is signed Weatleau(I think! This belonged to my grandmother and is mocked 1920 on the back which might be the year it was received or maybe the year it was painted? I don't know! It belonged to her for years. The bowl is about 9 1/2 inches in diameter and about 2 inches high. It is painted with green leaves and hot pink and yellow flowers-could be camellias? There is a heavy gold gilt along the rim which shows only minor wear. Take a close look at the pictures and contact me with any questions.

Bavarian-Style Covered Serving Bowl, 19th Century Repairs, RARE
You are bidding on an exquisite and rare early 19th Century Bavarian-style Covered Serving Bowl with 19th Century staple repairs. These items were so precious that owners had their pieces mended rather than discarded. This bowl belonged in an antique dealer’s collection for over 60 years. It has some epoxy-type substance on the side of the bowl to preserve the cracked surface. But the 1800’s mending of the bottom is“museum” quality. The design is so unique and vibrant with Pink and Gold arches that are matched on the lid and the top half of bowl. A“Pineapple” or Leaf and Acorn top knot along with the applied gold handles give one an idea of the opulence of this piece. Marked on the bottom are 3 letters imbedded in the clay by the maker or designer in cursive: M Y L. No other marks are present. Vintage Tirschenreuth Bavarian Porcelain Bowl. This is a beautiful hand painted bowl! The porcelain is Bavarian and was produced by the Tirschenreuth factory. It was most likely a blank that was sold to a studio for painting. This is a signed piece but I cannot make out the signature; Laken" or"Loken" It has been painted with little blue birds and pink flowers. The center of the inside is cream and the upper section where the painting appears is white. There is a solid gold line separating the two sections. There is a deep gold rim around the outside of the bowl. There are three little ball feet that are also gold. The painted motif appears both inside and outside the upper section of the bowl. It measures 5 1/2" across and stands 2 1/2" tall. I found no paint loss and the gold is really intact. Scherzer& Co. was founded in 1880 and directly started to produce a wide range of pieces including coffee and tea sets, normal household items and tableware as well as decoration porcelain. Items made by the company at a time also caught the eye of the Geo. Borgfeldt& Co. company and during January 1907 and May 1908'Zeh, Scherzer& Co. produced a series of items exclusively for the company from New York, based on an agreement between Borgfeldt and Zeh who had met earlier. ANTIQUE BAVARIAN HAND PAINTED FERNERY BOWL*RARE LATE 1800's BEAUTY!
This is a beautiful pre 1900 Fernery bowl from'Bavaria' They did not mark the products exported with'Germany' until 1910. This is likely from the 1870's-1880's. It is rich in handpainted colors of delicate white flowers with golden centers. Vines and greenery on a subtle background of lighter to golden green. Some autumn browns. Three curved gilded feet, intact except for some color rub where it rests on a surface. It is. Of course, not in brand new condition ~ but I would say exceptional! Along the inside rim of the bowl there looks to be some wear of the white porcelain, perhaps from an effort at cleaning, or of a possible insert placed for the'fernery' A couple of glazing spots that are indicative of the period. The scalloped-rim bowl is 7" in diameter at the rim. 4¼" in diameter at the footed base and is 2" tall.
