Antique P K Silesia Porcelain Bowl Pink & Gold Roses w/ beaded edge Germany
This is an antique porcelain bowl that was used ca 1890 to 1920. Manufacture would have been in the 1850 to 1899 range. It is marked P K Silesia on the back. The floral motif is pink and yellow roses. There was gold trim on the edge but most of that has worn off. There is porcelain beading on the edge of the bowl and is in a 10 sided style- see pictures. There are also decorative ribs on the inside of the bowl. There is a nick in the side of the bowl and a mark on the underside edge. This mark appears to be the gold paint used for the trim and the artist touched the bowl with his brush in a place he should not have. There is a hairline crack in the bottom glaze of the bowl. I have tried to show this in pictures as well. The bowl is 9 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches in height. Ship to US only by USPS. PayPal only please.

Beautiful Vintage Silesia Germany Antique Fluted Scalloped Bowl - Excellent
You are bidding on a Silesia bowl that is in excellent condition. The bowl shows no signs of chipping. Cracking or repair. The hand painting is in immaculate shape with the exception of the outer rim where some of the gold has disappeared but still quite nice. The mark on the rear indicates this bowl was manufactured between 1915 and 1938 at the business of Kuno Steinmann. You are bidding on a CT Altwasser Silesia vase that is in very good condition. The vase shows signs of wear on the bottom with rub marks and also has a small chip out of it- please see pictures. Bowl has gold ivy figure in the bottom. 3 handpainted floral sprays around top of inside; simple gold band on outside base. Really beautiful in person. Porzellanmanufaktur/ Porzellanfabrik C. Tielsch& Co. 1845 until 1917) One reason for the success of Carl Tielsch straight from the beginning was that he had a very large product range. Starting with normal household pieces, going over hotel porcelain and ending with luxury goods. In addition, the facility always had the best designers and decorators. At first, Tielsch only marked his products with the initials'TPM' which stood for Tielsch Porzellan-Manufaktur. As that appeared similar to the'KPM' used by the Königlich Preußische Porzellanmanufaktur, the two snakes curling around a stave were added at first, only to be replaced completely by the eagle from 1847 ... moreonwards.
