This is a rare yellow ware piece that I have never seen before and not exactly sure what it is. It measures 5 3/4" in diameter and 3" tall. Has a couple chips on the bottom rim and a 5" long tight crack along the base.

Vintage Yellowware Pottery Mixing Bowl 8 1/2 inches diam Blue and Pink Bands
This bowl belonged to my late Mother who used it as early as the 1930's. She loved this set of bowls(we have three for sale. Separately; click on"See other items" and took very good care of them. This is the largest at 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 5 inches high. It has the typical"pie crust" rim(this one rich in detail) and a broader blue band flanked by two narrower pink bands. The bottom is square and has no marks from the pottery. We are not experts but believe this to be vintage McCoy yellowware based on comparable bowls we have seen on the internet. There is a VERY small chip in the rim. The interior has some small black dots from inclusions in the clay. The outside glaze is slightly crazed and there are three hairline cracks in the glaze that do not penetrate to the interior. Antique Primitive Rustic Banded Yellowware Mocha 8" Footed Crock Bowl Stoneware
Large fat rolled lipped rim. Two off-white stripes sandwiched between two orange stripes encircle the exterior. The color is best represented by the second and third photos. Approximate measurements 4" tall. 8” rim diameter. And 4 ¼” base diameter. Foot is about ½” tall. Good antique condition: no chips or cracks. One of the three spots(where the bowl rested during firing) on the bottom interior has greater wear than the other two. There is wear to glaze around the rim. The finish is crazed inside and out– appears quite old. Nevertheless. The glaze is still very shiny inside and out. Offered here is a very fine ANTIQUE YELLOWARE MIXING BOWL WITH THREE THIN WHITE STRIPES RUNNING AROUND THE CENTER OF THE BOWL. This antique and primitive looking bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Appears to be hand-shaped which adds to its charm. In addition. There are"pits" in the bowl which are not chips but were made during construction and/or baking of the bowl. The bowl measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter at the rim, 5 1/2 inches in diameter at its base, and it stands 4 1/2 inches high. The lip has a nice flair and edge to it. The bowl is very well made, not new or reproduction. This bowl would make a perfect addition to your antique kitchenware- stoneware- yelloware collection. Please see photos for additional details.

Small 2 1/2" Tall Yellowware Bowl, Light Brown/Tan Brown Stripes 4" Wide At Top
This is for a cute small Yellowware(Yellow Ware) Bowl. The bowl is a light brown/tan color with two small brown stripes. One larger brown stripe and another two small brown stripes going around the bowl. It measures 2 1/2" tall, 4" wide at the top across and 2 1/2" at the bottom. Some of the stripes on one side were not completely covered as shown in the photo. It does not have any chips or cracks. There are no markings on the bottom of the bowl. Thanks for viewing. Antique Rockingham / Bennington Yellowware - Spongeware Bowl - 9 1/2" - LOOK!!!
This auction is for the wonderful antique mixing bowl pictured. It is in the excellent condition shown. This bowl has no chips. Cracks, or dings. It does have some minor glaze crazing on the inside of the bowl, but you have to look close to see it. I tried to show it in the pictures. There are stilt marks on the inside bottom of the bowl. A stilt is a pottery piece, used to seperate pieces of pottery that are stacked in the kiln, to keep them from touching and sticking together when fired. This bowl measures approx. 9 1/4 inches across the top and 4 inches tall. Has 2 distinct lines around the top outside edge. Look at the pictures closely and you can see them in the pictures. Here is an antique yellow ware bowl that measures 11-1/4" wide at top. Just over 5" high, and 5-3/4" wide at bottom. There is a hairline crack. As can be seen in photos, and also a chip to bottom rim. On lower band there appears a small part missing(see last photo) Craquelure as well. Hard to find small yellow ware bowl or ramekin with a handle and a stepped'beehive' shape. Unmarked but probably by Morton, with a Rockingham ware or Bennington glaze, in excellent condition. Good quality tan colored earthenware. Molded form with extended lug handle shaped with two dimples. Pretty golden tortoiseshell Albany spatter glaze. From a local estate.
