Please be patient there are 46 more photos to be loaded in this auction. In this auction we have the second of two antique yelloware food molds. Both from the late 1800's discovered at an Estate sale in Eastern Pennsylvania. Octagon in shape with a cluster of grapes in the bottom, a nice ribbed pattern around the top. It has a few small chips to the rim and fleabytes to the base, overall crazing to the glaze and wear that would commensurate with the age and use of the mold. We found no cracks or breaks. Medium sized antique yellowware bowl with rare and coveted mocha seaweed details in cobalt blue! Seaweed motif on white band all the way around with smaller cobalt outlining band on the bottom. Bright yellow and blue coloring(very saturated) In great condition considering its old age. Great rounded rim supported by a raised foot. A beautiful, primitive piece that can be displayed as well as gently used in your home. A couple glaze marks of cobalt from the original maker of this vessel. Beautiful unique details! Beautiful Antique Yellowware Bowl featuring 6 band details in cobalt and pink/salmon color and ribbing detail/texture on bottom half of the bowl. Bottom texture very rare for yellow ware banded bowls! Dimensions: 6 1/8" diameter. 3 1/2" tall 19th century, absolutely no later than 1910. Colors are still extremely bright and saturated, a couple small dents from healthy use and age. Taken great care of, smoke free home. Great for decoration and everyday use as well! Here is an antique yellow ware bowl that measures 11-1/4" wide at top. Just over 5" high, and 5-3/4" wide at bottom. There is a hairline crack. As can be seen in photos, and also a chip to bottom rim. On lower band there appears a small part missing(see last photo) Craquelure as well.
