I’m very pleased to offer this wonderful opportunity: FOUR matching fixtures by the famous Porcelier Company! This listing includes: ONE 2-bulb ceiling fixture! ONE 1-bulb fixture! TWO sconces! For many decades. Porcelier made some of the finest lighting fixtures and house wares(they closed in the 1950s) There’s a book on their work: Collector’s Guide to Porcelier China By Susan E. Grindberg It’s so hard finding sets like this! I love the large scale flowers! The set is ideal for a bathroom. Powder room, kitchen, or small bedroom. If you used the set in, say, your bathroom, the 2-bulb would be for the ceiling, the 1-bulb over the bathroom mirror, and the sconces on each side of the mirror. The 1-bulb can be used either as a wall sconce. Or ceiling-mounted fixture(see images) On the 2- and 1-bulb. Note the original Porcelier porcelain socket rings(sooooo distinctive) PLEASE NOTE: The sconces have pull-chains. These almost never work. Although they do on this set. However, I strongly urge that the sconces be controlled by a wall switch as I can offer no guarantee on the pull-chains. PORCELIER MANIA? For a long time I’ve had a dream. One day(cue dramatic music) a buyer will contact me. They. Too, love love love Porcelier, and wonder if their whole house could be filled with nothing but Porcelier fixtures. I gasp! I’m very pleased to offer this striking pair of 1930s pendants by Westinghouse! These type fixtures were wildly popular in the 1930s and through the 1950s. They were used in commercial situations like department stores. Today. They are much valued for residential use. Each fixture accepts a single 300W bulb. The very thick white glass shade diffuses this brilliance. So a lovely quality of light is offered. I very much like the concentric rings on the shades. The rings are particularly affective when lighted. Normally I have other such fixtures listed. But they all hang from long poles. This pair is the only near-surface set I have. They hang down 14-inches, and the shades are almost 16-wide. The pair would look great in a kitchen. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This set is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixtures accept a single long-necked standard base 300W bulb. COLOR: White. Silver. SIZE: See above. CONDITION: I love writing this: there’s no damage. The porcelain sockets are original with new wiring. SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE! Yippee! PAYMENT: PLEASE LET ME KNOW WITHIN 24-HOURS HOW YOU WILL BE PAYING. Payment must be received within 7 days or sale is canceled. In such an event. I will file a complaint with eBay. I’m very pleased to offer this matched pair of HUGE wall sconces! As can be seen in second image. The massive scale of the sconces is obvious(the small sconce is for comparison only. It is not part of this listing. Although only one large sconce is pictured, TWO are being offered here) The sconces are a whopping 30-inches high, 15-wide, and with a projection of 8-1/2-inches. The sconces would seem to be mid-19 th-century oil lamp conversions. But. This is belied by the Made In Spain stamp! So. I am guessing that they are post-1950. They are clearly modeled after oil lamp fixtures. For rail-road use in the age before electricity? Each socket is housed in what looks like an oil lamp but these are faux oil lamps. The original sockets(which I replaced) were European. So the sconces were brought to America at some point. The fixtures can also be table lamps. If you prefer them as such please just let me know and I will add a long length of cord and plug to each fixture. I can envision the pair as sconces on a long covered porch in a place like Arizona or Montana. Of course. They would also make spectacular statements as sconces in, say, a dining room. Or, hanging kinda low over bedroom night-tables. The round glass is amber colored. And has a gentle texture. The fixtures are black. And brass with patina. With new sockets and wiring. This pair is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Each fixture accepts one standard base 100W bulb. COLO

I’m very pleased to offer this rather extraordinary. And very high-quality, pair of 2-arm Art Deco sconces! My research on the sconces has proven elusive. I suspect that the sconces are French made and designed. They could be late 1920s. Perhaps 1930s. But definitely not later than the early 1950s. They are. As mentioned, of very high quality, and in a league unlike any other sconces I have to offer(and I have some very nice sconces! The sconces have two stamps which may indicate their manufacturer. There is what looks like a 2 in two places(one place is hidden) And the numbers 34007 on the back. The sconces are. I believe, mostly cast brass. They are silver-plated. The candle covers that came with the sconces are brass tubes painted white. Most of the paint has flaked off, likely due to the heat of the bulbs. I cannot confirm if these covers are original or not. I replaced them with off-white cardboard covers(although I will include the metal ones in the shipping box) Please also note the original mounting buttons. The sconces are 14-inches high. 9-1/2-inches wide, and they project 4-inches. The part of the backplate that would mount over an electrical box is about 2-1/4 wide by 3-1/8 high. So. If you are looking for a pair of truly knock-out, important sconces, this pair may be ideal Wholly restored and with new wiring. This pair is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixtures accept candelabra base 60W bulbs. The silver

Say, 29-inches high. I can make it any length. I’m uncertain as to the age of the fixture but estimate circa-1965. ABOUT THE RESTORATION SCHEDULE: The fixture is not restored yet. This will take up to two weeks after payment is received. The fixture will be fully rewired. With all new sockets, and a new finish(see below) ABOUT THE FINISH: The existing finish is not original. ABOUT THE RESTORATION SCHEDULE: The fixtures are not yet restored. This will take up to two weeks after payment is received. I will fully rewire the fixtures. And put on new paper insulators. And chain flourishes. Nice. The two-toned canopies and chains appear to be original, too. The sconces are stunning. Too, and rich with detail and relief. Wow. Wow! I don’t know who made the fixtures. Due to the quality of the materials and manufacturing. I suspect Lightolier or Halcolite. This set will be shipped wholly restored. Ready to hang, and with all the mounting hardware needed! I’m very pleased to offer FOUR remarkable circa-1970s Hollywood-Regency style wall sconces! If you love the Hollywood-Regency style– and. Well, who doesn’t? then you’ll go mad for this pair. The sconces have several extraordinary features: They are large! At 13-1/2-inches high they make quite a statement! The shades have a delicate filigree design in gold. The fitters are made out of porcelain. And also feature delicate gold designs. Gorgeous! The sconces are marked Thomas. More commonly known as Moe Light. Two brothers. Henrik and Ole Moe, helped to found the Milwaukee-based Moe-Bridges lighting company in 1919. Later friction among various shareholders resulted in the brothers leaving the company in the late 1920s, and founding Moe Brothers Manufacturing. In 1938. The company relocated to Fort Atkinson. Wisconsin. After the city agreed to sell land– adjacent to an all-important railroad line– to the company for one dollar. Moreover, the city built a modern plant(at 700 Oak Street) With the understanding that the company would pay rent of $1,800 for twenty years. The company was able to hire one hundred employees(no small figure in the Depression) and this increased to one hundred fifty two years later. In 1946, the company was able to pay off the bonds used to finance the Moe plant. However. As was common, the company struggled to survive after the war years(where they made grenades, bazooka and bullet shells, anti-tank mines, and other military equipment)

I’m very pleased to offer this wonderful opportunity: An early electric Pan-style 3-shade chandelier! And. A pair of Pan-style sconces! These type fixtures were very popular for decades. From about 1905 to 1935. This particular set has unusually beautiful glass shades, and of a style that I’ve never before offered. The glass is quite thin, and has delicate designs cut(not frosted) into the glass. The effect is obvious in person and really striking. The shades are banded by pale gold/nutmeg frosting. Nice. I also like the lovely scalloped bottom edges. Like most stamped brass Pan fixtures of the era. This chandelier was painted originally. I have renewed the original nutmeg color. The sconces are now bare brass(how I found them) I can paint them to match the chandelier or ship them As Is. Please also note the two sweet finials on the chandelier(one on the canopy and the other on the Pan body) I love these type of small. Intact details. The wiring is new of course and cloth-covered like the original. For the hardware geek: On the chandelier. The shades are not held in place by the standard three screws but rather with an ingenious flexible thingy. You push two little eyelets together, slip the shade in, and let go. Cool. This must have been high-tech magic in its day. LOOKING FOR MORE EARLY ELECTRIC FIXTURES? Please click here: Early Electric This set is ideal for most home styles built before. I’m very pleased to offer this stunning Mid-Century chandelier by Moe Light! However. As was common, the company struggled to survive after the war years(when they made grenades, bazooka and bullet shells, anti-tank mines, and other military equipment) In 1948, Lee B. Thomas stepped in to save the company. In 1953, the corporation name was changed to Thomas Industries, although the lighting fixtures still carried the Moe Light brand label, and were marketed as such. By 1963. Thomas was the largest employer in Fort Atkinson with 540 employees and sales of $41.000,000. The Fort Atkinson plant was closed in 1986. But it wasn’t that long ago that this factory– like countless such factor

I’m very pleased to offer this astonishing 1960s Hollywood-Regency crystal pendant by Halcolite! I mean. Wow. Wow! WOW! This is the Hollywood-Regency style at its best. The proportions of the fixture are also extraordinary. The main body is only 9-1/2-inches wide. But is an impressive 27-inches long. The overall length is 43-inches(I can make this longer or shorter, but not less than 34-inches) The fixture is ideal for. Say, a stairhall, a double-height foyer, or hanging low over a smallish dining table. The main body swirls around. And hanging from each sweeping vertical are seven crystal drops, or 42 drops total. Stunning! Wondrous! I love it! The whole fixture is cast brass. I have never before offered a fixture quite so remarkable and spectacular. This fixture is ready to hang. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and extraordinary Porcelier pendant! For many decades. Porcelier made some of the finest lighting fixtures and house wares(they closed in the 1950s) There’s a book on their work: Collector’s Guide to Porcelier China By Susan E. Grindberg This fixture is the most remarkable Porcelier I have ever offered. Here is why: Before the company closed in 1954. They updated their lines and created fixtures unlike anything previous. Like this fixture. Never, never had Porcelier offered an austere frosted white shade. Indeed. All their previous shades were dazzlingly elaborate. And their porcelain components normally featured stunning floral decals. But the porcelain components on this fixture feature elegant gold accents, and porcelain“leaves” on top with eight glass drops. Wow. While the shade is simplicity in itself. Note the oversize gold disk. It is porcelain. Yes, porcelain! And the gold is, I believe, real gold. Then there is the finial. This is a holdover as most Porcelier pendants and chandeliers offered the same wonderful. Hand-blown glass finial. I particularly love the white-on-white quality. And the almost Dr. Seuss-like aspects of the porcelain stem. The fixture would be a knock-out in a bathroom or bedroom. In addition to its incredible beauty and high quality. The price of the fixture is directly related to its extreme rarity. The fixture really should be in a lighting museum. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is r

I’m very pleased to offer this wonderful opportunity: A pair of 1930s kitchen-type ceiling fixtures by the famous Lightolier Company! This listing includes: ONE 8-1/2-inch wide 2-bulb fixture! This is meant for the middle of a kitchen. ONE 6-1/2-inch wide 1-bulb fixture! This is meant for over a kitchen sink. ABOUT LIGHTOLIER Beginning in the 1920s. Their designs were always simply dazzling, and the quality was the very very very best. When you restore vintage lights such as I do, these aspects are so obvious they tend to jump out. It’s always a particular pleasure restoring a Lightolier! The fixtures are typically Lightolier in being rather ingenious. The shades have little leg-like extensions on top. Creating a space between the shade proper and the chrome fitter above. The finial has pierced openings. The reason for all this? You can use 100W bulbs without the fixtures overheating. The heat from the bulbs will create an air current. This will draw cool air up through the openings in the finial. And out through the openings between the shade legs. Clever? I think so! The shades are also striking. The edges have very thin raised lines. And the bottoms have a highly textured, dimpled surface. Nice. The smaller fixture is especially adorable. Each glass shade has minor issues(see last images) The larger shade has two tiny chips. The small shade has three.

I believe this is the original in the house, which was before I owned it going by the wallpaper in the kitchen
