Antique Tudor Revival Medieval Gothic Deco Nouveau Moe-Bridges Style Chandelier
This is an antique chandelier light fixture with five lights. It came out of a victorian home and was probably a replacement when the gaslights were taken out. It looks like a Moe-Bridges light fixture but I am not sure because I can't find any marks on it. It has been professionally rewired and works great. It is heavy and made of brass and painted metal. It has red. Green and gold colors in the decoration. There are some chips on some of the painted areas especially the finial that hangs down on the bottom of the fixture. I didn't want to change or alter the finish at all so I left it as is. I hung the fixture on a ladder to photograph it hanging but I am sure it would look much better hanging from the ceiling in your home. The actual body of the fixture measures 25" long and about 20" wide. The chain and ceiling cover ... moremeasure another 24" long. The fixture and chain measure approximately 49" long. Antique Art Deco Cast Aluminum 5-Socket Ceiling Light Fixture/Chandelier. Fleur-De-Lis Design, Original Polychrome Paint The ceiling light retains the original wiring in very good condition. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. Antique Italian Glass Fruit & Prisms Chandelier
I am excited to offer this gorgeous Italian Murano Fruits chandelier from approximately 1920's. It came out of an estate of folks who traveled Europe and bought beautiful high end decor for their home. C handelier measures 22" from top of glass column to bottom of hanging fruits and is 15" in diameter. What I call medium sized. It has 4 Lights which hold candellabra based bulbs. All four bobeche cups and top ornate column are graduated B lue to L avender M urano glass. Top column ha s a crack& small chip near top which has been glued and is stable. See pic#8. Turn this part to the back and no one w ould know. Body of fixture is birdcage shaped and features central brass column and 2 tiers of brass arms. Lower 4 brass arms have G lass B eadwork and ends of arms heavily adorned with colorful prisms and Maria Teresa flat flower ... morediscs. There are P urple prisms/discs on top tier and A mber on lower tier. Top glass column has glorious glass F ruits and P risms/discs hanging from it on 4 sides. Glass G rapes hang from the four arm lights. Also from the bottom of fixture along with a glass P ear. The fruits hanging from various parts of fixture are A pples. Multi-colored G rapes. 10 Arm Brass Chandelier Vintage/Antique
Up for Auction Vintage/Antique 10 arm brass chandelier. It is missing one of the electrical covers. Some drywall/texture on item, arms are a little loose, there are holes for the crystals and an electrical sticker, the center decorative crystal holders has one loose one, some wear and tear due to age. I am not sure how old it is but the wiring is definitily old style. I have only given it a gently cleaning, I leave the rest up to the experts. Note the beautiful work on the chain. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. I have up for auction this super nice find. This piece was found in an old estate that I cleaned out. This piece is super awesome and guaranteed old. The is all metal with leafe designs that are all painted cream. Then there is a mirrored back with the light bulb that sticks out. Then on the light bulb are all glass beads that are tied around the light bulb which you can remove when the light bulb burns out. Then all along the perameter of the piece are super great solid glass or crystal tiered round ball prisms. They are all there and the piece is in good shape for its age. The mirror does have some light crazing which is on the back side but just great authentic patina to the piece. The piece measures about 10" in diameter at the widest point. Offered is a fabulous 47 piece lot of old French Cut pendalogue chandelier prisms. This is an asssorted lot with the smaller ones measuring 3 inches long plus the top bead. The largest ones are 5 inches long plus the top beads. These are flat on one side and cut with a double bevel edge on the other. A great mixed lot with some unusual cuts, some have glass florete top jewels. There are more than enough prisms her to really dress up your old French Versailles chandelier. A vintage antique ceiling fixture/ chandelier composed of slag glass and textured glass panels. One of the dark purpled toned slag panels is cracked as is one of the white glass panels, and one seam shows some slight seperation going from the top to bottom. Wire harness and switch are currently working, but the harness shows wear, decay and distress and I would recommend replacing it. Was rewired in the past also, it is not the original wiring harness.

It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. And in such fine condition. It is paired with this very nice, pale, sort of creamy beige-ish pink glass shade that is ribbed and scalloped and has no damage at all as far as chips. This is bronze and I did not have it re-bronzed but I had it totally redone in this costly high quality professional painting and its stunning when hung. Each holder surrounding the ornate circle center has holders-if you wish to add just wonderful candles or you could have this electrified as no one had it eletrified ever before as it is very old and yet extremely well taken care of. I purchased it directly in France and it dates to the late 1800's. As mentioned never being electrified- the previous owner told me they hung it and used beautiful candles for a romantic lighting in their room and also added a larger center one in the very upper smaller circle as shown ... moreand they took well care of it.
