Fabulous Vintage Antique Floral 5 Light Chandelier: This lovely chandelier measures approximately 16" tall by 16" wide. It has five lights and comes with the ceiling cap. The ceiling cap reads: H.C. Frisbie Co. 1120 E. Pico Blvd. Los Angeles Inspected Electric Fixture Issue No. C-7380. The measurement from the top of the chandelier to the ceiling cap is approximately 3.5" The metal chandelier features red roses with green leaves and has an off white color. There are some ships in the paint that I believe just adds to its shabby yet still chic cottage style charm. I had this chandelier hanging in my daughters room for the past 12 years and it worked perfectly. However. As with all used electrical items, it would probably be a good idea to have them looked over and fitted in your home by a competent electrician. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. Old Art Deco Nouveau Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER w/ 5 Orig Globes
For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. This auction is for an Antique Art Deco 1920's Floral Ceiling Chandelier 5 Light Fixture in its Original Paint- it appears to be complete. It measures approximately 15 1/2" wide by approximately 21 1/2" tall including the chain and the ceiling cap. It has some corrosion on the metal and it needs rewired- there are no broken or repaired pieces. it would clean up better with a professional cleaning- I just cleaned off the surface dirt and left it how it came out of the estate.

Art Deco Restored 5 Light Flushmount Ceiling Fixture
Gorgeous and fantastic Art Deco ceiling light lovingly restored! This fixture is from the 30's and has been refinished in bronze. Copper, antique copper, and 2 shades of green. Then it was sealed for long term protection. The wiring and sockets are new. The finial and socket rings are original. It measures 15" across and 4" tall. Bulbs are not included but mounting hardware is. I'm very proud of the light fixtures that I restore. I've been doing this work for 7 years. I take a great deal of time and pay a great deal of attention to the details. Sometimes I hold onto a light for months until the perfect painting treatment comes to mind. Other times the ideas come to me at the first sight of a special light fixture. My listings include well lit and large pictures so you can see the detail work and beautiful colors used ... morein my painted lights. Each fixture is thoroughly cleaned before repainting. Some are chemically stripped and others are bead blasted. I choose the method that achieves the best results depending on the material and type of fixture. Occasionally a fixture only needs a good cleaning with detergent. I use primers when needed and I seal each of my lights with either a satin or gloss clear finish to protect it. It is a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. The glass is in nice shape… no chips or cracks– there are rough edges and a little of the frost has wore in areas not seen upon display(except one tiny spot) We believe this is a Merkel fixture and it is numbered(starting with an“8” though we are uncertain of some digits(with a“T” above the numbers) The fixture has been rewired with new sockets… though the original ... moreceramic bases were saved. Antique Brass & Cast Iron Art Deco Chandelier 5 Sockets Hanging Cluster Light
Here we have an Art Deco hanging chandelier that holds 5 bulbs. This is an antique lamp that is brass and cast iron. The soceket cups and the shaft of the fixture are brass and the center star and circle are cast iron. The chain on this chandelier is a more recent vintage chain but could be easily replaced with one that would go better with the age of this lamp. As you can see it is in good condition but there is some wear to this lamp the worst of it shown in the last photo. This chandelier is about 15 inches in diameter and has a turn switch in the center that can turn the lights on and off. I would recomend re-wireing this before installation. Each of these brass candalabras has 38 teardrop and 38 button crystals. They measure 15 1/2" high(without bulbs) and 12" in diameter. They operate by an inline off and on switch. The wire is flexible and in good condition. The candle sleeves are also in good condition. This is a very ornate vintage matched pair of candalabras in wonderful condition. This very cool chandelier hung in a home near Cincinnati, but now it is here– selling on eBay. People’s lives change, sometimes beginning accidentally or ending unexpectedly. It is approximately 17” to 18” diameter. Being a five-shade fixture, one can measure it two or three different ways. It currently set up with a total drop of 16” when measured from the upper bell where the five chains meet, down to the bottom of the drop-in shade. Total drop from the ceiling is 27” but that is a meaningless measurement since links can be added or replaced at will. Even if you have a 24 foot ceiling in you breakfast ... morenook, all it takes is a trip to your local hardware store for chain and wire, and you can make it hang three feet above your table. The frame was painted brassy gold some years ago. And they did a great job. I’d say the fixture is spelter or some sort of strong metal other than brass or iron. That picture makes me wish I’d at least dusted it a little. See what I mean about the nice quality of the painted finish? The original wiring remains to the hub. But the wire from there up is of more recent vintage. It works. I’ve seen it all lit up. Notice a fragment of the maker’s label on top of the hub? I’ll bet I could find the name of the maker using that fragment. But I’m already so far behind there is little hope of every catching up. My yellow arrow points to a chip so shallow I can’t get a photo of it. It’s hidden anyway. There are also a few surface dings around the outer edges of the drop-in bottom shade. There again. It was solid black when I picked this up at the estate. I gave it a quick wash and a lot of dirt and grime came off. I think with a good power wash it would clean up beautifully and look brand new! It measures 19" across at the widest points. From the top of the blue/yellow/red shield to the medallion at the bottom, it measures 13 3/4" From the ceiling mount to the hanging medallion on the bottom, the whole piece measures 28" It's a sturdy piece, weighing in at 13 pounds. The chandelier measures approx. 29 1/2" inches high including chain& cap.Measures 21" across arm to arm.Chandelier is missing bottom plates at sockets 2 are present 3 are missing the 2 that are present could be removed. Bottom decorative piece is missing& chandelier needs a good cleaning and paint is chipped and does show some surface rust. 5 LIGHT SLIP SHADE CHANDELIER AMBER DECO NOUVEAU I have for auction a 5 light slip shade chandelier. I also I have the matching 3 light slip shade chandelier listed this week and will gladly combine shipping. The light measures about 14 inches across and the light itself measures about 18 inches long. The light will hang down from the ceiling 26 inches. The embossed design on the light matches the embossed design on the amber shades. The light is in good used condition. There so some small spots of color missing on the canopy and one shade does have a small chip and rest the shades have only some very minor roughness to the edges.
