I’m very pleased to offer this rare and striking pair of 1930s chrome and glass sconces by Levolite. And from their After Daylight line! The glass scones are a cream colored glass. Not painted glass but solid cream glass in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It’s incredibly hard finding such a pair with their glass shades in excellent condition. They are almost always lost or broken. The sconces were made by Levolite. The company was at 184 Grand Street in NYC. The building is. Today, no doubt high-end condos. 2 narrow light bulbs included. Vintage Antique Art Deco Slip Shade 7 3/8" by 4 1/2"
For your consideration is this Vintage Art Deco slip shade. The shade measures 7 3/8" by 4 1/2" wide at the top fitters and 1 1/2" wide at the bottom. The shade is in great condition. It has a couple of tiny flea bite chips on the fitters and one on the inside of the top left scallop. These are small and will not show or affect the hanging of the shade in the fixture. The glass shade measures 10" in diameter and other than a couple of small nicks on the top rim. Has no chips or cracks. The fixture hangs about 11" measuring from ceiling to finial. The white glaze looks super, with only a few small flea bites. The fixture takes 2 standard base bulbs and no max wattage is noted on the fixture. This is a hard-wired fixture and I've not been able to test it. It appears to have all original cloth insulated wiring. In good condition. R eplacing the electrical is at the descretion of the buyer. The decorative glass that extends from the canopy is beautiful. With no chips or cracks. The canopy's design matches the glass shade ... morebeautifully. For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. There is a small amount of paint residue from years of remodels around the back edge of the lights that can easily be removed. We are pleased to offer this beautiful 2 piece. Art Deco(1930s) porcelain light set. The fixtures are stamped"Porcelier" The set includes two ceiling or wall mount lights, one is a double socket light. The sconces are identical in color and pattern. They are a golden color with white undertones. They are trimmed in gold with a French or Italianate vine and leaf pattern. The pair are stamped"Porcelier" on the inside. They are in very good condition with very little evidence of age/use. The two light sconce has two"lines" that look like hairline cracks. However, if you run your finger over them, you cannot feel them. I truly think they are age marks in the finish. There is some very light crazing in a couple of areas. None of these issues are terribly visible and do not distract from these beautiful fixtures. Both ... morefixtures have cloth wrapped wiring. It is in good condition. Vintage Modern Light Fixture Milk Glass Globe Schoolhouse Antique Art Deco #2
Large vintage/antique milk glass chandelier. On pendant pole. Total fixture and shade measures 46 inches, from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. The shade alone measures 10 inches tall and has a diameter of 16 inches. Would be great in a large room or area with a taller ceiling. The wiring has been redone, at some point, and the light fixture is in good working order, but, as with all vintage electrical items, should always be checked for safety. Previously installed in my office the light works both with a switch and also with the individual switches on each light of the fixture. I am including the one shade I have. I'm not sure that it's original to the fixture, the edges are rough with many tiny chips. Gorgeous antique pair of art deco or nouveau wall sconces. Cast metal by Moe Bridges of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Painted beige with bits of green on the leaves and other parts of the fixtures. Heavy cardboard candle covers over the sockets. Retain original finish, they have been rewired with new sockets, the original switches are still on the lights but are not hooked up. If you wished to use the switches again they should be tested, and probably new switches installed. Will work fine wired directly into your house wiring and bypassing the switches, just wiring to a wall switch. There are small bits of metal cut on the sides of each fixture, probably for wiring, this isn't readily noticeable and over all these are really cool. 2 Antique White ArT DeCo GLaSs Slip Shades for Chrome Wall Sconce Lamp Fixtures
This auction includes a set of two vintage small white art deco glass shades which have rough cut top and bottom rims. I have seen these type of shades on the old chrome wall sconce fixtures. They measure approximately 4 1/4" tall(one is slightly taller) By approximately 3" across the top openings. The smaller fitter ends measure just over 1 5/8" across to the outer edges. Both are in very good condition. And have no chips or cracks overall. There is minor roughness with some small chiggers to the small fitter rims which is typical on rough cut shades. No big deal in my opinion, but wanted to mention in case it would matter more to someone else. Bright spots are only light reflections. Beautiful set to complete your lighting!
