Antique Vintage Lighting Shades Pair of Frosted Painted Shades 2 1/4" Fitter
Here is a pair of frosted shades that were removed from a home that dated from the 1920's. I'm not sure if they are original. But they appear to be from that era. The exterior is frosted and the interior is painted. There are a good amount of'flea bites' on the exposed edges. Check photos for condition. The flea bites along the lower lip of both shades are numerous but there are no chips from damage. These will be shipped in an over-sized box for protection. Up for bid. A Large Vintage Art Deco Theater Sconce Light, from The Grant Theater, 80 Main St. in Historic Cairo, West Virginia. The Grant Theater was built around 1914 and was open till 1960. Its actually connected to the Historical R.C. Marshall Hardware Store, in Cairo, West Virginia. It was once a small grocery store after the 1960's. Now, its being restored back to a theater, with period interior. This Art Deco Theater Sconce is in an uncleaned state. Its very well constructed. It needs rewired before installing. It has chippy silver paint with some rust, as shown in photos. Its constructed of steel, but its original paint is still intact. can be cleaned or repainted before mounting. vintage lighting fixture from 1947, cream opaque dots design, MISSING 1 chain
Before my house was torn down we removed this cool vintage light fixture. It is a fabulous example of 1940s lighting. My house was built in 1947 so the fixture is from that time period. It is an opaque creamy white with a shadow dot design and a flower at the tip, it measures about 11" in diameter across the part that faces the ceiling, the housing is about 5" in diameter at the top. The glass hangs from three chains from the housing, ONE OF THE CHAINS IS MISSING and the remaining chains are a bit rusty and the housing does have some asbestos residue inside the top. It is a beautiful fixture and perfect for vintage décor. I do combine shipping so check out the other items I have listed. I note any damage that I see, if I miss something it is not intentional. I do have cats so if you're allergic or have any other animal ... moreissues bear that in mind.
