NICE ART AND CRAFTS SLAG GLASS GOTHIC HANGING PORCH LIGHT
This auction is for a neat Art and Crafts period Gothic style hanging porch light. It has 8 slag glass and amber glass panels. The light has a great look but has a few minor losses that are not too noticable. Especially if it is hanging. First it is missing two decorative finials, one on one top corner and one on the bottom. One amber glass panel has some light crackling to the glass. It is not broken through and the glass is in tact. It is also missing the piece that would cover the wiring where it gos into the ceiling. There is some light paint loss to the metal but it only serves to give the light character. The piece measures about 13" tall from top to bottom and about 7" wide at the top, narrowing smaller to the bottom. Sold with No reserve! THanks for your bid and Good Luck!

VTG 20S ANTIQUE MISSION ART DECO ARTS CRAFTS CYLINDER GLASS PORCH LIGHT FIXTURE
Gorgeous antique light fixture. Featuring a cylinder amber glass shade in a brass fixture, four rods with finials on both ends hold the glass shade in place. The fixture is solid brass, it has a brass toned paint on it which is original, this could be stripped however and this would really shine. It has some minor stress marks and dents typical of brass, but nothing major, some wear but could easily be used and displayed as it is. It has been rewired with a porcelain socket and new wiring and could take a 100 watt bulb if desired. Original mounting hardware. The only replacement part on this aside from the socket is the finials on the bottom of the fixture which are new, solid brass- one original finial was missing so they were replaced. The three original finials will be included. The glass shade is particularly attractive on this, it has ... morea leaf texture and a slight iridescent color, very pretty. This rather unusual arts and crafts porch light measures 10 ½” tall x 5” square(add 7 ½” for chain) and comes with 6 ½” long hand wrought hook having a round cast iron 2 ¾” diameter base. The hook can be attached to either wall or ceiling so the fixture can also be a sconce. The shade of multiple small pieces of textured amber and slag glass is in pretty good shape with some bends. These lights are copper plated brass with original orange peel textured glass. Antique copper) Each light has 8 pieces of glass in it. The original tabs that hold the glass in place has eroded away over time as they were very thin copper tabs. To hold the glass in place I used RTV silicone dabbed on several sides of each panel where the glass meets fixture. Turned out better than original tabs because they don't shake and rattle under the tabs. These lights are stunning and put off a wonderful amber glow. Light emits all around this fixture even in the rear since ... morethere is glass on every side. You won't find a better example of 1920's Art Deco style sconces. Picture#12 is of a page of a 2002 price guide for Depression era lights. The sconce is pictured in the lower left. This is the only other image I have seen of these lights. Lot (3) Antique Porch Light Lantern Art Deco Crafts Cottage Sconce Fixture 12"
Up for sale is a really cool matching set of(3) art deco/arts and crafts cottage porch lights. These are in really nice. Vintage condition. All have matching amber glass inserts. There are no cracks in any of the glass and all prongs holding the glass inserts in are intact. Weatherbeaten, worn and beautifully faded with a great greenish patina. All sockets are intact(not sure how good they are) All 3 will have to be rewired. The entire length(from tip to the bottom of the mount) is about 12 1/2 inches.
