Chandelier lights have bobeche cups that can be removed on each branch, and this could easily be made into candle burning. Very very heavy solid brass with patina, probably sealed with lacquer? The chandelier is 23" Wide. It measures 32" tall, not including chain and cap parts. It is many cast brass construction which has various removable center parts and branches, around large screw core. The candle covers are okay but some have cracks or pieces missing and should be replaced to make it look perfect. The wiring to branches is on top of arms not inside like cheap hollow chandeliers. NO REPAIRS or SOLDER OR DAMAGE, EXCELLENT condition! 1950s / 1960s European Antique Vintage Chandelier From Vienna, Austria
Awesome antique vintage chandelier purchased in Vienna. Austria. Great condition, natural/minimal aging. Metal appears to be brass. Other material is wood and glass. No chips at all. Was told it works perfectly, but I have not tested it or installed it(I decided on another style) Approx measurement across: 30 inches. Drop: 19 inches. It takes 60w lightbulbs. The smallish, chandelier type bulbs(the current ones in there are Philips Classictone 60W, 230V) The wiring appears to be perfect. But I suggest having an electrician look at it just to be safe. I'm not familiar with wires. Came from late estate of Austrian man who. I was told, had this hanging"forever" in his home and is from the 50's/60's era.
