very good condition considering age(not sure exactly around 1940's my guess sockets may have been replaced or rewired plastic insulation) one glass globe has tiny chip on top but also has the frosted look so my have come from factory. 3/8" thick glass. frosted and hand painted. globes are 7 1/2" tall 5" wide and 4" deep. sconces are light weight pot metal or aluminum not sure non magnetic. they are dark brown. not sure if original paint but they do match shades. they measure 9 3/8 x 5 1/2. very ornate. no markings that i can see except on leviton sockets/switches. one is missing switch nob but still seems to work.

Architectural Salvage Antique Vintage Lighting x 2. I DO NOT know the age of these lights. But what I can tell you is that our home was built in 1870. I know that it was remodeled but I do not know when. We are updating the entire house now and I would really like these fixtures to go to someone whom appreciates them. They are very stunning and very eye catching. Each fixture holds 3 lights and as far as we can tell, they work well but that was on a quick test run and were never used on a daily basis but for the right person they would have No issues fixing any problem with them. Please take a close look at all of the pictures and the details. From the top to the bottom measures approximately 14 inches and the width is just under 13 inches. This is a lot of architectural salvage. mostly arms for Candelabras- there is a large pair that looks Silverplated(one of the cups has a little bite out of it- see photo close-up) that measure about 4 inches tall an about 5-1/2 inches across. Next pair is Victorian with scroll work and grapes(one is gilded and the other not) and they measure 4-3/4 inches across and about 3-1/4 inches tall. Next is a pair that look to be made of heavy Brass. They measure 4-1/2 inches across and stand 3-1/4 inches tall. Lastly are two interesting brass flower shaped metal pieces. This is a complete swag lamp kit from what we estimate is 100 years old or more. It is an art deco/ Art Nouveau design, stamped ceiling plate. The chain and hardware are all original to the last installation. We are selling some architectural salvage items for period correct restorations. These are sold"as parts" to create period correct lighting. The electrical will probably have to be upgraded. The ceiling plate and tassel are in solid condition. No holes or pitting noted. There is a cast iron three hole piece on the ceiling side of the plate in which the threaded tassel tube mounts to. I believe I neglected to take a photo of that. From ... morethe three leg cast iron bracket, It is hung by a threaded lamp style tube so should be easy to adapt to a modern light box. The patina is strong. With ceiling paint to be removed. The original colors are visible, either for restore with patina, or using as a color template for reconditioning to recreate original appearance. Prairie Gothic Antique Light Fixture Oak Park Hexagon Architectural Artifact
Prairie Gothic Antique Light Fixture from Oak Park- Hand-Crafted Architectural Artifact This is a lovely. Handcrafted jewel from Oak Park, Illinois- the hometown of Frank Lloyd Wright and the birthplace of the Prairie Period in architecture and design. This hand-crafted lighting element has a Gothic/ Prairie/ Early Modern sensibility. It is almost certainly from the 1910– 1930 period. It seems to be a light cover or fixture that comprises gold-washed bronze structural element with hand-laid and tinted art glass with lead cames(the lead that holds the art glass together) The bronze elements are expertly cast and joined including the ornamental knobs. Three threaded attachments support the base. I am not saying this is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed piece but I have had experience with Wright's cube light's and other period lighting ... morein an up-close examination and these materials are very similar. The art glass is very similar to original material at Robie House and Unity Temple. Wright loved the hexagon. 8.25 inches high x 4.25 at widest. Fair condition. Slightly loosened cames(leading between art glass) which is typical for its' age. Original gold wash plating and lacquer finish are fugitive. Remnants of wax from later use as votive. Some surface dirt but this should be preserved. Will ship insured.

It's painted off white though this is chipping away. Glass panes have a ruby red diamond center surrounded with yellowish orange and pink pieces. Lantern has a door with latch. MEASUREMENTS Approx 23" long x 13" at widest. CONDITION Item shows a lot of wear including chipping paint and surface rust. The bottom glass piece is broken. The top glass piece is missing, two panes have fallen out, and one pane is missing a yellow piece of glass. The frames of the two panes that have fallen out are a little misshapen. The spoke that would be the piece that fits into the missing holder is 1/2"W around. The whole thing is 6 3/4"L x 9"D from the back of the spoke to the front of the basket. Made to either hold an oil lamp. Light sconce of some kind. Now would work for a pillar candle or even as a planter holder. Would look stunning with a hanging, flowering plant hanging over the sides. The plant would have to be in a pot that would fit inside the basket. The basket is 1 1/2"H and 3 1/2"W on the bottom inside where the pot or candle would rest. So the bottom of whatever you put in it would have to be 3" to 3 1/2"W. Art Deco Chandelier Eagle Heads Architectural Antique
Art Deco chandelier with three eagles each mounted on the center ring and holding by it's beak a light fixture with a frosted glass bell or tulip shaped globe. Metal fixture with three round sections with hammered effect and faux painted to look like bronze. Each ring separated by chain. Eagles look to have been gold painted or gilt. Rewired and ceramic sockets redone. I do not know the exact history. But I do believe this came out of a New York building. Condition: Look closely at the pictures. MISSING CENTER GLOBE. There should be a globe on the bottom with about a 10" or a little less lip. There is overall wear and loss to the finish. Description This is a nice set that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They are very heavy at approx. 20 pounds each. The back plates have ornate designs around the perimeter. There are ball finials below the fixtures. The covers for the mounting bolts are present as are all the globe screws. Sorry. There are no globes included. The back plates measure 7.75 inches wide by 9.25 inches tall without globes. Overall they measure 10 inches deep by 9.75 tall without globes. Overall. They are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. We don't have mounting bolts. They should definately be rewired. Please look at the pictures carefully. Set of 4 Antique Slip Shade Sconces - Art Deco Nouveau -Architectural Wall Light
Available here is a set of four slip shade sconces. The amber colored shades feature a floral design and leaf pattern on the three visible sides. The depth of the moulded glass displays very nicely when the sconces are lit. The glass shades sit within the metal fixture around the socket. I can find no damage to the shades. The metal sconces also feature a floral design that compliments the shades very well. I am not sure of the base metal. But these sconces have a bronze finish. There is some foreign paint around the metal fixtures, I have not tried to remove it. They do have new sockets with up-to-date wiring. Any wiring seen in the photos would be hidden when installed properly. I used the electrical wires to picture the working sconces. An old Architectural Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture. The fixture is impressed. Max Schaffer Co. It is made of cast iron with a brass tube down the center. The fixture is 20" long and weighs over 7 pounds. 1 of the 3 main ornate cast iron parts is separated near the top. It appears to be a fairly clean break. It looks like it was cleaned and prepared for a repair that was never completed. We don't know if it can be fixed or if the fixture is just good for parts. Please see enlarged pictures for condition. On auction today is. An antique Victorian era chandelier. It is marked on all of the 5 switches for each light"CONN" The C is the biggest letter and then the O is inside it with N and then another N inside it. All the letters are inside the letter C. I am not sure of the company that made this beautiful light but it is marked. It has a beautiful patina as it is with the gold worn off just enough to add to it's charm. The chandelier has 5 hanging lights all with their own switches. It has a very early wiring system and would need to be rewired in order to be used. The gilding on the gold is just gorgeous and it has never been restored. It is in original condition and could be as early as the 1890's. This chandelier is very heavy weighing in at 25 pounds. I am not sure of the metal type. It is missing the bottom finial as ... morepictured. From the top ornate piece that is attached to the ceiling to the bottom of the lights it measures 34 inches and across the main circle it measures 16 inches wide. Beautiful Vintage/Antique Brass Chandelier Iridescent Prisms and Filigree Designs Measures 19.5" tall and 17.5" in diameter About 140" chain. Roll switch on lower cord portion. 4 Lights This gorgeous swag lamp in a Moroccan style is absolutely stunning in every way. Intricate filigree designs accented with iridescent crystal prisms. The tips near the bottom were bent from it being stored setting directly on the ground but I did bend them back. Brass has slight tarnish here and there. Will need a cleaning or polish if desired. Inside brass rings have a light surface rust but nothing you really see from the outside. You will need to replace the little plastic sleeves that go over the light sockets but very inexpensive. 2 are dried out and cracked and one is missing. Up for for consideration is a large Architectual exterior Wall Sconce. It measures 23 inches tall by about 10 1/2 inches deep by 8 inches wide. The sconce held curved glass pieces which made up the shade. The cylinder type shade held 4 piece around and 4 smaller pieces on the bottom. It looks to have a newer socket from the 1940 or 50's. The piece weighs about 15 lbs. It has it's original mounting bolts. The exterior foliage pieces that mount on the frame are thinner pieces of Copper.
