It has a beautiful green color compliment with black striping along with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. Check out the clear glass marble around the border. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. This light was inspired by the mopar muscle car line of the late 60's and early 70's with their over the top bold colors. It has both a masculine as well as a femine look to it. And it compliments past. Present, and future decor. Not many lights can make this kind of statement. I may never create another one like this in my life time. Most sellers hide the fact that they have recreated a light. I am very proud that this is a custom one of a kind creation. The shade measures about 15 1/2 inches in diameter and is aluminum which is in wonderful condition. The ceiling canopy was sanded and repainted as is also from the same era as the glass crystal stem. The socket housing is vintage but has been repainted. There is a new three socket assembly pictured with 60 watt bulbs along with all new wiring. I have never previously offered chandeliers quite like them: The original candle covers are metal. And have a textured faux finish including drips. I also like how they taper. Very cool. The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. Here is a pair of frosted shades that were removed from a home that dated from the 1920's. I'm not sure if they are original. But they appear to be from that era. The exterior is frosted and the interior is painted. There are a good amount of'flea bites' on the exposed edges. Check photos for condition. Architectural Salvage Antique Vintage Lighting x 2. I DO NOT know the age of these lights. But what I can tell you is that our home was built in 1870. I know that it was remodeled but I do not know when. We are updating the entire house now and I would really like these fixtures to go to someone whom appreciates them. They are very stunning and very eye catching. Each fixture holds 3 lights and as far as we can tell, they work well but that was on a quick test run and were never used on a daily basis but for the right person they would have No issues fixing any problem with them. 2 Bronze Art Deco Slip Shade Sconces by Midwest Lighting Company 1920's - 1930's
This is a beautiful pair of 2 art deco cast bronze sconces which I believe were manufactured by Midwest Lighting Co. circa 1920-30. They have a very nice warm coppery gold color to them. The sconces are slip shade in design but I do not have the shades themselves. The sconces have an abstract floral pattern to their design. Each sconce measures about 10 1/2" tall. And each is about 5 1/2" wide. The sconces are bronze and are quite heavy- about 1 1/2 pounds each. There is a bit of paint on the sides of each sconce. But this can be easily removed with fine steel wool. I removed some from one sconce and polished it up a bit and it came out very well. The sconces will need to be rewired and will need brackets to mount them to the wall. Vintage ceiling light fixtures set of 2 with 3 socket lighting chain and mount
Vintage set of 2 matching ceiling light fixtures. They both come complete with glass. 3 sockets, chain and mount. One has good glass and a good base, the other one has a crack in one part of the glass and the base is rusted. Great for projects or make one good one out of the 2. They are 12" tall not counting the chain. The bases are 5" across, 2" tall and the mounting holes are 4 1/2" apart. They both need to be rewired before installing them. Vintage glass ceiling light fixture shade flower petal shape lighting 2 of 2
Vintage heavy glass ceiling light fixture shade. It has a flower petal shape and I have 2 matching ones listed. It is 13" across and 3" deep. The center hole is just over 1/2" across. There is no cracks or chips in the glass that I could see. There are some small chiggers around the center hole and they would be covered when it is installed. The center has a 3" flat spot that should have a large washer or brass piece to cover it. There is some imperfections from manufacturing it in the center that would also be covered with the same washer. Nice shade and if you need 2 I have them. Lovely Vintage Ceiling or Wall 2~bulb Lighting Fixtures Matched Pair They measure approx 12" X 7" and approx 2-1/2" high to the socket and 4" high to the tip of the Ornate Metal Centerpiece. There is a very small chip on the outside of one of the sockets. I show this in my pictures otherwise there is no damage, no nicks or chips to the fixtures. I also show the wiring of which I do not know if they work. I always have my old fixtures re-wired with modern up to code wiring by my electrician. The fixtures are a dark Ivory to a slight Golden Color. Note there is some of the Gold detailing slightly worn on one fixture due to natural wear but does not take away from the beauty.
