Date: Around 1910 +/ Materials: The center bowl has an exceptional shape like I have never seen before. Each corner of the center bowl is adorned with a stylized acanthus leaf. Which is exactly adapted to the it's shape. Additionally each of of the three wings is equipped with one bulb socket, so the lamp becomes equally illuminated. The fixture is most likely made out of bronze cast and is covered by patina. Measurements: The total height of the chandelier is 15.8" 40 cm) The max. length of the center bowl is about 15.8" 40 cm) The total weight of the chandelier is approx. 9.9 lbs(4.5 kg) Condition: The chandelier is in very good. Used condition with some signs of age and use. Each lantern is composed of four panels of slag glass, accented at the corners with iron florets. A curved, V-shaped iron band, fastened at the ends with florets, crosses each panel near the top of the lantern. The brass has some patina; this will only get richer with time. The sockets have nice. Long pull-chains. This is really unusual for this type fixture. Of course, the fixtures can also be controlled by a wall switch(assuming your house is wired as such) I like the look of the pull-chains– a nice period touch. The sockets are original. The paper insulators are new. The vertical wires are also new. And cloth-covered. Nice. I show 60W clear appliance-sized bulbs. And think these look very well. Originally, people would have likely used carbon-filament bulbs. Available still, these look about the same as what I show, but are way higher in price and way lower in wattage. The set retains all its essential components. Including the very distinctive finials, socket rings, and chains. And. Of course, it’s really nice having a matched pair. Winding its way up through the chains is new cloth-covered wiring. Just perfect! Each socket has a Perkins turn-key in working order. An early dimming system! ABOUT THE LENGTH: The fixture is now 30-inches long. I can remove about 18-inches of chain if you need it shorter. If you need the fixture longer please contact me. This fixture is ideal for most home styles built before 1930. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. The ball finial looks like someone used a vise-grip on it at some point. Closer inspection reveals this to be a manufacturing irregularity. This is hard to see way up on the ceiling. The patina may in fact be an original oil-rubbed finish. COLOR: Brass with bronze-like patina. SIZE: The fixture hangs down 30-inches. Up for consideration is a fine set of 4 or 2 pair of Antique French Wall Sconces. The sconces date from about 1910 or so and measure 14 1/2 inches tall by about 10 inches by 5 inches deep. This set consists of 3 arms on each piece with great casting and super casting. As with good fine quality French Sconces they are cast in many separate pieces. The backplate consists of 3 separate pieces. There is a lacey bowtie top cascading down and tying into the top of the torch with descending bell flowers in the center body of the torch. Canopy and chains are made out of bronze cast. The ring and the canopy are adorned with a beautiful, embossed roses decor. Up for auction is a large 30"x18" antique brass light/ceiling fixture from 1900-1910. Craftsman or mission style. It is in absolutely MINT condition. Has turn switches and original fitters all with shade screws. I included one picture where I fitted the light with period shades, looks great; but the shades are not included in the auction. It looks to have been re-wired but I haven't tested it; always recommend a rewire on old fixtures. The fixture is just in terrific shape. Buyer pays shipping of $29.95 USPS Priority mail. Heavy glass"chandelier" they must have another name but it is about 100 years old and were in all the rooms in my home so they must have been original to this 1910 San Francisco building. Delightful antique Arts& Crafts flush mount lantern. Dating from the early 1900s. The flush mount light fixture begins with a simple iron fitter that also serves as the lantern roof. The body is composed of four panels of original glass, accented at the corners with florets. A curved, V-shaped iron band, fastened at the ends with florets, crosses each panel near the top of the lantern. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected flea bites around the rim. There are a few chips to the paint, as pictured. The lantern has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 6-1/8" wide and 7-1/4" tall. Antique Large Solid Brass 1910 Industrial Pan Fixture. This fixture is exceptionally heavy brass. With solid brass chains approximately 1 1/4" thick. The shade holders are an unusual shape with three screws on top and three on the bottom for the shades. see photos) This fixture apparently didn't have a crown but just hung from the very heavy chain on a hook. The condition is very good, I see no cracks or breaks. The brass finish is lacquer and has some stains. It does need stripping to bring out the beautiful brass. It measure approximately 28" long and 19" across. The 4 shade holders have crisp arrow sockets, and hang down 6" without shades. This is a very unusual lamp. I have tried to do some research on this lamp but I could not find another one like this. As always any Antique lamp needs to be rewired. Italian Wisteria Lights Th is auction is for two Wisteria ceiling lights. All the original glass pieces are hand made& attached with brass wire. The leaves are green the clusters are violet purple. The fictures are older with newer wireing. I believe they are from around 1910. NOTE: The condition is as follows. The fixtures were working before they were taken down a few years ago I cannot guarantee they are still working The sockets different There are a lot of pieces that have broken off most of the pieces were saved see the photos There are chips on a lot of the exhisting pieces you really can't see this when the fixtures are hanging. Original Antique 1910 Hanging 2 Arm Brass Light Fixture / Hubbell Sockets
This beautiful. Vintage 1910, fixture hangs about 31" from the ceiling and. That could easily be adjusted with the heavy chain. The fixture is about 15" wide without the shades installed. The brass is fairly heavy gauge. The pair of shades were on the fixture when I acquired it; they're perfect. They have frosted interiors and have a nice ring when plucked. The 2 Hubbell paddle switched sockets are in excellent condition and have a strong click when turned. This good looking fixture is ready to hang with new restoration, as you can see. This exceptional. Ca 1900, solid brass and cast brass nouveau styled fixture has been just been professionally polished, lacquered and new wiring. The fixture hangs 28" from the ceiling with the gorgeous matching iridescent shades installed. The diameter of the fixture is about 18" and the ceiling canopy is 8" in diameter. The heavy chain is solid brass and new pull chain light sockets are installed under the leaves. This impressive looking antique chandelier is ready to hang and will greatly enhance the decor of any room. Large Five Level Prism Ceiling Light Fixture Antique 1910 Chicago Greystone Restored. We have listed an Antique ceiling light fixture with five levels of prism and crystal ball. This is a restored light fixture ready to install in your home. there are three restored electric light sockets with original covers dated webber 1910 Etc. All or most of them are original to the fixture. The crystal is a newer copy. The fixture is solid casted heavy brass that was nickle plated in 1910. About 99% of the nickel is worn off. The finish is a satin brass and lacquered to get many years of protected finish. There are five levels of prism with 63- 50-34- 22- 13 for a total of 182 prism plus ball. There are many tiny flakes on the edges of the prism and ball as normal wear on 115 year old glass and some have been replaced over the decades and all are close ... morelooking. Electric was done when fixture was restored 9 years ago by someone else. The top crown is 15" across.The height is 26" from bottom of ball to top of fixture. There is 13" of original heavy iron chain that has all the brass plating worn off, brass paint will fix that. It is in very clean condition and ready to hang in your home.It will be shipped with all the prism off, and wrapped securly. The fixture can handle up to 225 watts of power and needs frosted light bulbs to really bring out the detail. Please look close at the pictures as they are part of the description. Here we have an exceptionally nice. Circa 1890's- 1910 era ~ ANTIQUE RUFFLED EDGE ART GLASS LAMP SHADE ~. This beautiful lamp shade has like an opalescent quality to the fine quality thin Victorian era glass. There is a blue edge between the white and clear ruffled edge that gives it a unique look. I believe the collectors may recognize the maker. The shade measures 9 inches across at the ruffled edge by about 6 inches tall with a 3 1/4" fitter. Antique Pendant Light 1910 P & S Hanging With Pull Chain 22.5" Long
This old pendant light measures 22.5" long. The socket is marked P& S on the inside porcelain. The outside cover has a patent date of May 17. 1910. I rewired it and it does work. That is all that has been done. It come with the ceiling cap. There are 3 holes in cast iron top to screw this into the ceiling. The socket cover has the threads to screw on a shade, if wanted.
