Then this rare stunner may be ideal. This fixture is ready to hang. And comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts candelabra base 25W bulbs. I show round bulbs but flame-style bulbs also look well. The original ceiling canopy was lost. Since the images were taken I have replaced this with a period-correct chrome-plated canopy. COLOR: Chrome. Black. White. SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 28-1/2inches and is 20-inches wide. I can remove up to 4-inches of chain; I can add chain. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and striking pair of 1930s chrome and glass sconces by Levolite. And from their After Daylight line! The glass scones are a cream colored glass. Not painted glass but solid cream glass in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It’s incredibly hard finding such a pair with their glass shades in excellent condition. They are almost always lost or broken. The sconces were made by Levolite. The company was at 184 Grand Street in NYC. The building is. Today, no doubt high-end condos. 2 narrow light bulbs included. Tested and checked working great. While such sconces would have normally been used in a bathroom. This auction includes a set of two vintage small white art deco glass shades which have rough cut top and bottom rims. I have seen these type of shades on the old chrome wall sconce fixtures. They measure approximately 4 1/4" tall(one is slightly taller) By approximately 3" across the top openings. The smaller fitter ends measure just over 1 5/8" across to the outer edges. Both are in very good condition. And have no chips or cracks overall. There is minor roughness with some small chiggers to the small fitter rims which is typical on rough cut shades. Chandelier is in very good condition with no breaks or repairs, shades are also in very good shape with no chips or cracks. A nice example of pieces of this era. Protruding about 6 3/4" and 4 3/4" at its widest point, where it is mounted to the wall. The shade is about 4" X 4 3/4" wide with a fitter of about 3 1/8" 3 1/4, which is held in place by well-fitting, sturdy screws. Vintage Antique Art Deco Slip Shade Ceiling Light Chrome Light Fixture 9 1/4"
For your consideration is this beautiful condition Art Deco Slip shade light. It measures 9 1/4" long by 7 1/8" across. The socket is a porcelain socket that takes a standard Medium base light bulb. The shade is in great condition. It measures 5 1/8" across at the top and is 3 1/8" tall. It has some roughness around the fitter, looks to be from manufacturer and is not visible when in light. The light does have a pull chain as shown, it does work. The wiring is in working condition as shown, but does look to be original. The item for sale is a set of 5 vintage art deco glass shades. These are in very good used condition with no breaks or cracks. The top rims of the shades has slight roughage. These are an iridescent white with a chrome metal ring. The pieces measure approx. 6 inches in diameter by 3 inches tall. The base opening measures approx. 1 3/4 inches. Very versatile ... morelight ~ could work easily in the hall. Entry, bedroom, bath or kitchen! Light is all original with exception of bulb socket which appears replaced at some time in it's history. was functioning perfectly when removed several months ago. Has since been stored boxed. In dry location. Light is free of damage including any cracks. Chips, nicks, scratches, etc. There is the occasional, incidental mark on the frosted glass. These can only be seen close up and do not appear noticeable on the light at ceiling level. Chrome finish is intact and undamaged, but could use a polish if desired. The Lightolier tag was directly under the bulb. When the light was removed most of the tag crumbled from the years of heat. However the last pic still shows the classic"L" of Lightolier. Back Mount measures 6.5" across. Screw holes for mounting are 3.5" across. Chrome measures 1.75"H and Total height is approx 6" Please take a look at my other auctions this week. 2 Antique White Glass VITROLITE Ceiling Light Fixtures w/Shades Art Deco Chrome Hello Bidders, Thank you for stopping here to look. In this auction I have a pair of vintage or antique ceiling light fixtures with shades. Both are made of white glass"Vitrolite" that was used in businesses and homes. Mainly bathrooms in the early 1900's into the mid-century. The pair I have are stacked square ceiling mount. They still have porcelain and brass hardware or sockets that can be removed. They have a brass chrome plated fitter with three screws. The shades are also made of vitrolite. Not white milk glass. This glass is more opaque. They are round bell like shaped. The fixtures size is 6" x 6" square flush to the ceiling. The fitter for the shades. This is the chrome part, 2-1/2" d. The drop with the shades is 7-3/4" ... moreand the bottom of the shades is 6-3/4"d. Their condition is very good. Not chips, cracks, or repairs. There are tiny nicks or fleabites around the top of the shade that goes into the fitter. This cant be seen when put together. There are holes in the fixtures for screwing them up to the ceiling and one other hole for a switch if needed. These fixtures have a nice Art Deco period look. Thank you again for looking.
