I have never previously offered chandeliers quite like them: The original candle covers are metal. And have a textured faux finish including drips. I also like how they taper. Very cool. The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. It was a thrill to at last purchase them. They are so very beautiful; I love just simply staring at them. Wholly restored and with new wiring. The chandelier is clearly modeled after an Argand lamp. From Wikipedia: The Argand lamp was new to Thomas Jefferson in Paris in 1784. From a local estate. Here is a beautiful older ceiling light fixture. This is painted pot metal and is set up for two bulbs, it measures about 12.75" end to end, about 7" across the middle. Sockets, mounting piece, and finial are intact. Will definitely need to be cleaned and rewired, but a good start, no damage at all. Classic art deco styling, should restore to a showpiece. I can remove up to 5-1/2-inches of chain. I can add chain. The fixture has numerous details that are quite nice. I love the very long finial. The arms are also beautifully detailed. And have a subtle Viennese Secessionist-like quality. The chain holder is also very nice. The fixture has lovely new cloth-covered wiring. Originally. The main body would have been painted. However, this was long gone when I acquired the fixture. Without knowing what the original color was, I decided to leave well enough alone, and simply gently polished the brass. The cast-iron components(the arms, finial, and chain flourish) seem to retain their original gold finish. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. The period-correct, hand-painted bulbs are not included. Vintage brass ceiling light fixture with 2 hanging lamps. The oval shaped brass plate is approximately 14" long and 7.5" wide. The click switches are marked with the logo of the letter"E" with an arrow going through the middle of the"E" Arrow Electric Company. I salvaged 3 of these beautiful lights from a turn of the century home in the Northeast. These were covered in paint and I painstakingly removed the paint to expose the brass and porcelain. The brass base features an Art Nouveau floral motif with two porcelain mini shades for each bulb. The original finial is also here. Double(two) bulb with finial hanging in center. Some wear, but original paint looks to be a light beige color on the base with light green leaves and pink/peach accent flowers. Needs some cleaning and touch up.I have not cleaned them. This is a great find. I went to an estate sale. And this definitely caught my eye. This is made of cast iron, and is VERY COOL. The fixture holds two bulbs, one on each side of the round center piece. I have no idea just exactly how old this is, but I am sure that it is at least Mid-Century. Lovely Vintage Ceiling or Wall 2~bulb Lighting Fixtures Matched Pair They measure approx 12" X 7" and approx 2-1/2" high to the socket and 4" high to the tip of the Ornate Metal Centerpiece. There is a very small chip on the outside of one of the sockets. I show this in my pictures otherwise there is no damage, no nicks or chips to the fixtures. I also show the wiring of which I do not know if they work. I always have my old fixtures re-wired with modern up to code wiring by my electrician. The fixtures are a dark Ivory to a slight Golden Color. Note there is some of the Gold detailing slightly worn on one fixture due to natural wear but does not take away from the beauty.
