It could easily be fitted with 3 fitters in order to a dd antique lamp shades. This fixture has very nice details as you can see. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wire s so you may want to have them replaced. This lamp comes with the original finial and ceiling mounting bracket. Being a solid brass Chandelier, made in Spain. The material, design, theme, wiring and overall wear and tear(patina) suggest that it was probably made pre-WWII. Especially the design, reminiscent of the works of designer and architect Antoni Gaudi, suggests that it is inspired from a slightly earlier time, likely circa the early 1900s up to the 1930s, or so, and then put ... moreinto production. It would fit into designs and constructions of many Gaudi creations, and of his followers, possibly being of Gaudi's direct influence. It is in good condition in so far as the brass is concerned, patina of brassy green, with no metal damage like cracks, broken places, etc.it is structurally intact and all there, including the original chain from the ceiling and the outlet cover(see photos) However, originally there must have been crystal pendants dropping from the 10 individual 6 pointed"stars, the five suspender arms near rhe top, and six places for crystals in the extra"star" at the top. The drops would make a brilliant display, especially building upward and concentrating light there, but they are now absent. The holes for hanging the pendant drops are all intact and await fitting with replacement crystals(which can readily be found, either antique ones or current production) The electrical wiring should all probably be redone or at least checked and refitted as may be necessary. On the shade hangers by the switches they have a little dent on the slot where the switch comes out as shown in picture 7 but. In overall good condition. It was still being used, the campus came thru and removed all the bulbs from all the fixtures. The wiring looks and feels very good for a 86 yr old fixture, it will be buyers responsibility to determine safety of wiring. Fixture's base measures 11-1/4" in diameter and stands 7-1/4" tall to top of lamp sockets. Each lamp socket has a push base switch 2 of them switch good a 2 don't switch so good. Base of fixture is made of thin metal with socket stucture made of thick material which is brass.

The ruffled rim ... moreis not cut as deep as the rest. One shade does have a small crack in it. These shades are not old and are common and were put on here to finish the look. Antique Etched Mirror Sconce - Mirrorred Etching Brass 1920's
Lovely brass sconce believed to come from a 20's St. Paul house. It is approximately 7 3/4" wide x 11" tall and 4" deep. The wiring is original. I was able to make it light. Both candle switches worked for me. You may want to replace the paper candles as they are quite worn. In some of the pictures it looks like the mirror is cracked or badly scratched. It is not. Please look at all the pictures and zoom in on them- you'll find the mirror is in good antique condition. This vintage light worked for me. However. The fixtures should be passed by a qualified expert before installation, and installed by a qualified person as well. Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. Purchased some time ago from a dealer who collected antique oil lamps. 1880-1900 gas lights and early 20th century electric lights. This lamp is unmarked as to manufacture but is equipped with Four(4) Leviton Light Sockets with original Bakelite turn switches. Condition is as is as found with item needing re-wired before service as still has cloth covered wiring present. The light"pan" measures 10 1/4" in diameter x 5" tall. We believe this is an original fixture. It does work. But would be a good idea to rewire the light as there is some fraying. The escutcheon has some white paint on it that needs removing and the light is dusty. This measures 21" across and 17" high(not counting the escutcheon or chain) The cardboard sleeves which originally had"wax drippings) made into the cardboard are starting to flake away. There are tiny metal flowers where the original straight screws are holding the body of the light in place. This will ship without the light bulbs. This 1920's pan style chandelier has 5 opalescent shades. All in perfect condition. The pan has nicely detailed heavy-cast arms. The lamp has been rewired but I have not tried it. It appears well done on inspection. The pan measures 15 inches, arms 4 inches and large shade-12 inches. The fixture weighs 12.5 pounds. 1920's brass pan chandelier - Beautifully reverse hand painted with farm scene
This is a one of a kind opportunity. Perfect fixture for an old limestone/brownstone or arts and crafts/mission style home. This item has been RESTORED. Not refinished. Currently, it is unwired. Glass is in exceptional shape for its age. Seems to be from a non-smoking household. There are no cracks visible on the dome or on any of the four shades. Minor chipping where dome attaches to the fixture maybe due to the glass blowing process. This is not seen when fixture is hanging. There is a small repair barely visible on one of the screws that hold in the glass dome to the brass base. Again, this antique is almost 100 years old. Vintage Wall Light Fixture - Brass? - 1900-1920?
Here's a very cool old wall sconce lighting fixture. It is a silver color. But after cleaning it a bit, it became more of a brass color. The back looks more like brass and even has some turquoise oxidation like brass would. Not sure of the metal, however. It is 7.5" wide and 8.5" tall. It still has the original cardboard candle-looking fixtures attached and still has the original wiring. The metal ball on one of the chains is missing. Pretty good condition with no major damage. Although the original wiring still exists I would highly recommend re-wiring this if you are going to use it. This retains the original pull chain. The threaded linkage for the fixture hanger& amazingly it still has its original paint which is a floral motif design. This is great for a nostalgic effect& would look splendid in an older home kitchen, bathroom, hallway or parlor. Ornate Pair Brass Antique Wall Sconce Art Deco 1920's
I recently renovated an old 1920 two story house that had almost all original period lighting. I removed 22 old fixtures of which the majority was still working at the time of removal. These wall sconce fixtures came out of the parlor on the first floor. These fixtures are made of brass. 8 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" wide and has 4 1/2" profile/from the wall. Each fixture has a paddle key socket; one made by GE and the other by Webber. Not sure which one has had the socket changed from originality although they are both Fatboy sockets. The room these sconces came from did not have electricity turned on. Therefore these fixtures are being sold as is with the expectation that the lights will be refurbished to todays electrical standards by the purchaser. They may or may not be functional at this time. The fixtures are in the condition ... morethat they were removed and both have dirt and paint on them. Overall appearance of the condition of the pair is excellent. No dings or cracks in the metal. The brass finish is in exceptional condition for their age but does show wear-please see all pictures. Both have a heavy brass arm that support the hanging sockets which have threaded ends for a screw on UNO fitter to hold a glass shade. They are 95 years old(as the age of the house implies) and ready for restoration and then service in your home. Please email any questions. 1920's ANTIQUE Brass Bakelite art nouveau DECO Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER
This fabulous. OLD, chandelier is mostly Decorative ornate Brass with an art nouveau/ art deco/ almost oriental look to it.The center piece is made of Bakelite?Catalin- which is highly unusual and has to be from the earliest of days of Bakelite/Catalin. It has 5 lighting arms that are marked Leviton patent pending. I can find no other marks on it. It is heavy and weighs about 12.5 pounds. I only suppose this is made of Brass because it does have some light tarnishing. It also has green and red paint on some of the floral elements of the design. I do not know if the electrification is in working order. Of course. Since it is old, I would rewire it if I were you for the sake of safety. GORGEOUS 1920's Art Deco Art Nouveau Cast Brass Chandelier -
Up for auction is a truly gorgeous vintage cast brass five light chandelier. I was told this was found in a turn of the century hotel in Chicago. It has a lovely art deco. Art nouveau feel. Not sure of it's exact age, but doing research, my guess would be around the 20's or 30's. It measures 27" long(from ceiling mount to bottom finale) and 17" in diameter. It appears to have been rewired. Shades look to be original to light and are in great condition.

Condition is overall good, we noted one of the center flowers is somewhat loose in it's socket.
