Four high quality cast iron coat hooks based on an original Edwardian Arts& Crafts/ Art Nouveau design by C.F.A.Voysey and also very similar to a hook design by M H Baillie Scott. Elegant spear bud shaped backplates(maximum width 1.75" Each bearing three countersunk screw holes for fixing and a hook shaft which protrudes upward out from the backplate at an angle of around 45 degrees. The hooks each stand approximately 3.75" tall when fixed and protrude just under 3" from the wall. These are finished castings with any burrs/irregularities rubbed down, with a bare iron finish. There may be some light speckled surface rusting due to the unlacquered, bare-metal nature of these hooks. Can be readily lacquered or overpainted if desired. Ideal for hall stands and coat racks. This nice period lamp dates ca. 1900-1915 and manufactured in an era when they could be“wired” for either gas or electricity. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. Here is a very nice Arts and Crafts period spirit kettle with original stand and burner. It is brass with a hand wrought iron stand. The stand exhibits art nouveau influence with its sinuous forms. It is unmarked. Condition is very good. There is some variation to the patina and spotting as expected for age. There is some finish loss to the wood handles. The spout has a small dent and some crimping to the tip as shown. This is 14" tall by 11" deep. The kettle is 9 1/2" across to the tip of the spout. Flat rate shipping is free to the US. Very nice. Arts Crafts Art Nouveau era bench. The bench is iron, painted green, with 2 large griffins or winged lions, finished in gold, on each handle. The bench has 4 legs which are fixed and do not move. They are criss-crossed in the middle and the intersection is punctuated with a tole rosette. The bench is in very good condition with a couple of dings. These can be easily touched up with matched green paint. The bench is extremely sturdy and there are no wobbles or no looseness in it. The bench is stamped"Verona 318 Pat. Applied For" and the bench dates prior to 1920. This is a gorgeous accent piece! This is a pair of antique machine age arts and crafts or folk art brass and iron wire candlesticks. These are so wonderful! But it's hard to give them a specific name. Are they arts and crafts. Machine age, folk art? Each category fits well to describe them. One stands 9 1/2 inches tall( 24.13 cm) and the other one is 9 3/4 inches tall(24.77 cm) The bases are 5 inches wide(12.7 cm) Together they weigh 1 lb. 8 oz. 680 grams) They are almost identical. Except if you look close up, one of them has a longer"wrap around wire coil" And it's also about one quarter inch taller than the other one. The other looks like it has a tighter"wrap around wire coil" The candle cups are made of brass and the rest is iron. One cup has a small crack in it. I'm sensing one is a man and one is a woman. But the double, forged iron handles stand 3” tall. It is in excellent condition with a tight separation near one end. The nature result of shrinkage of oak over a period of 110 years or so. A very finely-cast. Perching-bird door knocker, beautifully wrought and full of a quiet charm(except when in use. Searched hundreds of images on Google and saw not one even similar to this. The cast iron surfaces seem to have a very slight-very subtle-gold/brass patina which adds a certain"glow" pretty much absent in the images here. Somehow) I don't believe, however, that this piece was ever fully plated. Antique ART NOUVEAU/Arts Crafts Era Andirons~Flowers/Floral~Brass/Iron~Victorian
Exceptional set of ornate floral andirons. They have a strong Art Nouveau influence. But look fabulous in a Victorian home. Ornate brass details. Including fabulous wild rose flowers on the top, and ornate legs. Solid and substantial, most likely made c. 1910-1920. The base is forged iron and pivots. They look to have been painted selectively at one time. I intended to take a heat gun to them and remove it. But never got around to it. As long as I can get the nut attaching the brass decorative part to the iron section to loosen. I will be disassembling for shipping, as I think they will travel better this way. They measure approximately 10" across the feet. 19.5" tall, and 18" deep. I mentioned that they pivot, which allowed me to display them in a more shallow fireplace.

Hi. Up for auction is this 4 piece vintage fire place tool set consisting of a poker, tongs, shovel and broom with stand. Bought it at a barn house estate sale. Stand measures 32” high. The base is 10 1/2" by 10 1/2" All tools are in great condition with no rust. Metal is cast with a hammered texture with a art nouveau style handle. Take a look at it and you will see what I mean. It has some paint droplets that got on it along the way. I have not tried to clean it and will leave that up to the buyer. You have to get up close to notice that issue. Good used condition. They have not been tested to work, they are antique and would need the wiring checked by a professional to use. Fresh from a great local estate here on the Maine Coast is this wonderful vintage shell table lamp. Fancy cast iron base. Base is unsigned. Lamp was rewired at some point and in very good condition. 26" Tall Antique Heavy Cast Iron Slag Glass Leaded Art& Crafts footed Table Lamp Base. A nice looking ornate lamp base that appears to have been repainted black at sometime. Has paint loss. Scuffs and scratches. Rust. Appears to have been rewired at sometime. Brass Fatboy sockets work well. Has some numbers stamped to bottom.
