It has both a masculine as well as a femine look to it. And it compliments past. Present, and future decor. Not many lights can make this kind of statement. I may never create another one like this in my life time. Most sellers hide the fact that they have recreated a light. I am very proud that this is a custom one of a kind creation. The shade measures about 15 1/2 inches in diameter and is aluminum which is in wonderful condition. The ceiling canopy was sanded and repainted as is also from the same era as the glass crystal stem. It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! Beautiful Brass or Bronze& Majolica Chandelier Circa late 19th century This is a beautiful. Working chandelier from about 1890 that is both stunning& versatile. Based upon the age. The metal is hard to decipher, leaning toward brass. The Majolica is in great condition. Since it has the two extension arms it can be mounted flush or hang from either or both or the 30" arms depending on your ceiling height. The chandelier measures 24" across& 31" from top to bottom plus the optional arms& rings. The arms are included but will need to be detached for shipping. Beautiful Large Antique Carnival Glass Light Fixture Shades. Set of 2. Found in a house built in the 20's and guessing they are original to the house or added shortly after being built. These are beautiful heavy glass.I have never seen any like this and couldn't find any similar on Ebay. They would really set off a chandelier or be nice on a pair of table lamps. The top appears to fit a standard 2" fitter. They are 6 1/4"tall and 6 3/4" wide at widest section. The color would go with just about anything. Top is clearish- whiteish and bottom is a simple iridescent caramel color. Beautiful heavy glass with no scratches or cracks. Several small chips to bottom edge. One chip is larger than the others. But still doesn't detract from the glass(this is the chip that is shown in the picture) Bottom edge is thick and appears ... moreto have been machine cut when made.I really wonder if some of the chips are part of the manufacturing. In any case, due to the texture and sheen of the glass they are not really that noticeable. Please see pictures.
