Except dust it. It is 21" tall from the top of the ceiling disc to the point on the end(approx) It has 5 arms with two Candle lights on each arm. It has a diameter of approx 23" Each candle is 4" tall to the top of the bulb. It was made 1950's early 60s and has a Palm tree leaf design that features all over it. The chain is 16" long but if needed you could either remove links to hang it or just halve it to make it shorter. All the bulbs work as you can see. The black wire in the background is just how I powered it to show you it working. The wiring is from the same date so it is old. I would rewire the top wiring if I was keeping it. It has 54 Large tear drop Glass crystals. It should have 58 so 4 are missing. but you can remove and re-arrange them. please do not shoot me if I miscounted by one. I am sure my figures are correct. I will pack it well and remove all the crystals and pack them very well separate. and the same with the bulbs. It is quite a heavy piece. Please note if you live in a country that uses 220-240VAC then you will need to use different bulbs as this is normally operated from 110VAC I have tried to take the best photos I can of it. tow pictures I have used flash so you can see the true color of it. The age of the SHOWA era is 1989 from 1926. We use a tiered food boxes JYUBAKO especially at new years day and ceremonial day. Lacquer ware is the craft goods that paint the lacquer repeatedly on the tree and paper. Etc. And there is a lot of familiar tablewares that take root in eating habits of Japan in lacquer ware. The method of decorating lacquer ware is chiefly three which are MAKIE. CHINKIN and RADEN. CHINKIN: CHIN means sinking and KIN means gold. It used to be done in China. Thailand and India, etc. some time ago. It is done most actively in Japan in modern days. And the technique often especially used with the Wajima lacquer. There is a cord hole in the bottom edge for the cord to slip through. Piece weighs 11 oz's. Measurements are approximate. Piece is in very good antique condition with out chips. Cracks or scratches. May have slight roughness and rust staining about the bolt hole. This sia common in antique glass parts.

Joy Of Cooking 4 Tiered STRAWBERRY CAKE Original Watercolor In Mat With Authenticity I recently acquired lots of books from the Weldon Owen publishing house. And there was a bunch of large manila envelopes which I was also offered. In these envelopes is original artwork(most drawings, some more elaborate like watercolors) for cookbooks and other books published under 1 of the many sub houses of Weldon Owen. I'm going to begin the individual offering of these pieces for sale on ebay. I would be amicable to lot offers so long as they are reasonable. This auction is for the original watercolor of a 4 tiered strawberry cake wreathed in strawberry vines. It measures 8.375 inches in width by 10.125 inches in length and is on a heavy off white cardstock. It is not signed. The detail is exquisite for this piece. Some other pieces in this envelope(all ... moresimilar watercolors) are dated in the mid-1990s. There are several white out spots from the artist which would have been edited out before publication. I'm also enclosing 2 copies of the image printed out by the publisher(not pictured) and a copy of the included fax which lists the title as Joy of Cooking. The dated pieces have the artist's signature. But I can't make it out. I'm including a mat for the painting which is archival quality. Antique 8.5T Hand Blown Lovely 4 Tiered & Ruffled Edge Amethyst Glass Cruet-VGC
For your consideration is an elegant. Antique and very beautiful Amethyst handmade, hand-blown glass cruet in a bulbous three tiered shape, plus a fourth larger tier that gracefully anchors the design. The stopper that is also bulbously round is gorgeous. Fits into the upper flared and ruffled edge of the cruet and repeats the basic design. So in essence the visual effect is that of five tiers. Which increase in size as they flow on down from the upper ruffling. This was given to me by my mother-in-law many years ago and though still gorgeous. Does have some age and use related issues. There are some natural and pretty bubbles within the glass. Due to being hand-blown and if you have a look at the bottom, you will see the out of round circles attesting to this. The last photo shows that the handle is firmly attached and also shows how the ... moreneck inside is duller I suppose from inserting the stopper many times. Any other light surface scratches are simply due to the age and usage of her. But she still gorgeously refracts and reflects the light. Elsewhere on the bottle itself. I do not see any cracks or chips. The Main Issues Are: o The mottled look on much of the container is I think due to using it with a vinegar(which is acetic acid) and olive oil salad dressing. I have washed this of course. But this mottled etching from the vinegar is permanent. o In addition. The stopper has a shallow spider shaped crack or scratch on the neck of it that is approximately.25” long x 1/8” wide. But does not go through the stopper. See the macro enlarged 6 th photo. And the other side on the neck of the stopper has a single shallow scratch approximately.25” long. See the macro enlarged 7 th photo. o And the base end of the stopper has about four chipped areas that range from about 3/8” to ½” They are not visible when the stopper is in place.
