Antique Cranberry Hanging Oil Lamp Victorian Brass Queen Anne Estate Find This lamp is directly from a local estate that had accumulation from the 1800s which had been passed down in the family. The main shade was not found with the lamp. However it seems as though all the parts are there. The burner is marked Queen Anne, otherwise no other markings. Cranberry glass is in excellent condition. The brass does have some oxidation, but nothing horrible. Chain still good and functions properly. There is a weighted mechanism with a heavy iron weight in the center. The ball can be pulled up or down to allow for lighting the lamp. The weight is not included. Antique Victorian Brass Cranberry Glass Shade Hanging Fixture Oil/Electrified
Offering a beautiful antique. 19th century hanging oil lamp that has been electrified, ornate brass with a cranberry ribbed glass shade. Has the original chains, wood pulleys that the chain rides on which raise and lowers. Approx. 29" drop to the bottom, the ceiling plate/cover is 5.25" diam. the cranberry glass is 7.25" tall and 24" circumference. This light was working when removed and the only thing I found is the white paint on the ceiling plate. Please see all the pictures and ask any questions before committing to purchase. A beautiful. Antique, 19th Century Hanging Oil Lamp that is made from ornate brass and has a Cranberry Glass, ribbed, Shade. The original chains are still with this light and there are three, wood, pulleys, that the chain rides on, inside of a decorative brass cap(see photo) The chains raises ... moreand lowers, the holder for the font, nicely. The lamp, not including the chains, measures approximately 13" high from the top of the brass crown, down to the bottom of the ring x about 8" in diameter. From the top of the ornate brass chain mechanism, down to the top of the crown is about 21" long. So the entire fixture hangs down about 34" roughly) Everything is in very good condition! There are no chips or cracks to the cranberry shade and I see no repairs to the brass. It is missing the font to hold the oil, the burner, and the chimney. All three of these items should be easy enough to find. This is the most beautiful, original, antique Victorian Cranberry Glass and ornate Brass Oil Lamp to hang in any hall or foyer.
