Here is a pair of frosted shades that were removed from a home that dated from the 1920's. I'm not sure if they are original. But they appear to be from that era. The exterior is frosted and the interior is painted. There are a good amount of'flea bites' on the exposed edges. Check photos for condition. They are bronze with two arms with a back plate that has a variety of themes. There is some panther heads that are peeping out from behind a shield. There are some Art Nouveau type floral embellishment in the center. A Gothic stained glass window type back drop with a winged Gargoyle on the bottom. We have here a Vintage Pair of Porcelier Round Ceiling Porcelain Light Fixtures. They measure 6" around at the top(that attaches to the ceiling) 4 7/16" around at the bottom and are 3" tall. They fit a round 4 1/4" shade. They are a creamy white porcelain color with a simple ribbed pattern. They have all original pieces. There is a hole on the side for the switch chain to hand out. A very. Very old and very nicely preserved pair of Mirrored Tin Candle Holders/Sconces. 10-3/4" overall top to bottom of bobech. 7-1/4" diameter, 5-3/4" deep. Check pictures carefully, the few flaws are well documented in the photos. Some minor rust on back, very few discolored mirrors as seen in the pictures. Very few flaws for handmade soldered tin and crimped wax catchers. Excellent condition for the age of these Americana Concave wall candle holders. Vintage pair (2) French 3 Light Wall Sconces 24" 9 1/2" D by 11" Wired Bronze
Up for consideration is a fine pair of large vintage French 3 arm Wall sconces. They measure with the light bulb and crystal swag it's 24 inches 11 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches deep. The sconces are externally wired in the French manner meaning the arms are not hollow and the cord runs along the back of the arms. At the bottom a new cord has been attached so that one can simply plug the sconces into a light socket. These can also be hard wired into the wall. These are very well made solid brass and each measures 9" tall by 9 1/4" wide They extend out from the wall 5 1/2" and the candle opening is 2" across The unique"shield" design mounting plate is 5" by 3 3/4" These are not only beautiful.
