This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. The ... moreglass parts are 3/8" to 1/2" thick and there are no chips, cracks or damages to the lower part or brass accessories. This is a beautiful old slip shade chandelier circa 1920's. The condition is excellent with minimal wear and no breaks or cracks in the glass shades. The switch and wiring are very good and could be used but should be examined for suitability of your intended use. It measures approximately 15 1/2" wide by approximately 21 1/2" tall including the chain and the ceiling cap. It has some corrosion on the metal and it needs rewired- there are no broken or repaired pieces. it would clean up better with a professional cleaning- I just cleaned off the surface dirt and left it how it came out of the estate.

It is a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. But the sticker that probably accompanied it at one time is missing. The porcelain is in excellent condition with no chips or repairs. The wiring is modern. I have tested the fixture and it works correctly. Judging by the small hole near the center mounting hole, it probably had a pull chain on/off witch when it was new, but the switch has been removed. It was common for the early fixtures to have pull chains because they generally did not have a wall switch to turn it on& off. The fixture is 10-5/8" long. 6-1/4" wide, and 3" deep. Circa 1920-1930, but please make up your own mind about this. The light measures approx 10 inches(250mm) tall by 5 inches(125mm) in diameter. It is modeled as an inverted flame. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. This is a fine example of its type and it would make a beautiful decorative piece. 1920's Art Deco porcelain wall light sconce with underglaze floral decoration
Art deco porcelain wall sconce with floral decorations. This fixture was mounted in the hallway in the third floor of our old house built in 1925. The third floor had been unused for decades and I believe this was original to the 1925 construction. Piece is in very good used condition and is being sold as-is. There are some little discolored scuff marks. Probably from removing from the wall, I think TSP takes those off. The end of the little pull is painted wood and it's dirty and chipped a little. You can feel the painted floral pattern as though it were actually painted under the glaze and it'sin very good condition. I can't see any wires inside the socket, but this should certainly be rewired for use. The part that mounts on the wall measures 6&5/8 inches tall and 3&1/2" across at the widest. Piece projects about ... more4&1/8 inches from the wall. Overall piece is in excellent condition. But take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.

This item offered is a fabulous Art Deco skyscraper ceiling light fixture that was make into a table lamp. Wow what a great piece the globe sits it original light fixture. Measures a large 9"tall with a diameter of about 10"wide. There are no chips or cracks in the shade that I can see someone put some tape on the edges of the globe but don’t see any indentations to indicate any chips. I can’t figure how to get the globe out of the fixture to clean. The shade is a little dusty on the inside.as we will leave the cleaning up to the buyer. Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. The only 2 flaws I seen are on top 2 small pieces are chipped away. This is not visible from the bottom, once you hang this chandelier globe. I only have the globe and the original decorative attachments, which I believe these are silver plated bronze and have a nice age patina. On the inside, sockets are screwed onto these attachments. On these attachments, you can hang either chain or a robe kind of attachment, which was used in those time, but not on these chandeliers. Stunning Art Deco Glass Globe Pan Light-Circa 1920- This was an original fixture in the townhouse attached to the old"Morrie's" Grocery store in Delaware. Ohio built around 1920. The chandelier has been completely cleaned. Repaired, and rewired, including vintage cloth wiring. It also has antique fat boy ceramic sockets that have been inspected renewed and fitted with new insulators. The top of the sockets have a patten date of July, 14th 1914. I always try to work with what a piece gives me. This one had great patina on the bobeches and the ornate arms for the hanging lights. The globe of course was the center piece. The globe is a light pink with etched filagree and three beautiful soft green Roman Venus's evenly spaced around the glass. I accented the pan body with five hand layered colors with the dominant color being ... moreantique sage green. This worked great with the exisiting patina and brought out the colors in the globe as well. I put enough color and finish on it to bring out the stunning detail but left much of the great patina as found. Includes original matching ceiling cap. The pictures tell the story. RARE 1920-30s Metal Torchiere mica shades (pair!) - art deco arts and crafts
This auction includes only the 3 items you see on the red table. Namely a super RARE PAIR of mica torchiere shades(art deco or arts& crafts style) and one metal torchiere shade base. Not included is the gold floor lamp base in the first photo. I've always loved my lamp and years ago. I ran across the pair of'spare' shades and extra base that I purchased. My loss is your gain as you can make your own torchiere lamp or solder a frame onto the shades to use them on a floor lamp, etc. Many possibilities! You get: Pair of sturdy mica shades which have alternating silver bands and mica bands. Shades are about 9.5" tall. 7" diameter at top, and 4" diameter at bottom where they fit into the(single) metal base. Shades are in nice vintage condition, but note that the silver bands have a bit of the silver missing here ... moreand there in a few places. One silver colored torchiere shade BASE. It is heavy. Gothic style, non-metallic(magnet doesn't work) The base is threaded to make a lamp and there is a hole cut out for the pull chain.

Incredible Art Deco Torchiere Difusser Floor Lamp Circa 1920: Fully restored including all new wiring and new brass rotary switch. I have had a number of these and the wiring in these particular lamps is always a dangerous mess. They are hard to wire because of the bends in the arms and the switches and sockets. So what i usually see is a spliced taped dangerous patch job leaving the old cloth wires in the arms and up to the mogul socket. I included a picture of this lamp on the bench showing a FULL updated and safe wiring job. Disassembled cleaned polished and repaired. Most of this lamp is solid cast brass not plated! They really dont make them like this anymore! If they did it would cost $1500 new easily. If you need a lamp to throw a lot of light this is the one. Powerful 3-way 100/200/300 watt mogul socket. Or for just some accent lighting ... morejust turn on the candles. The candles and the center mogul bulb work independently giving you the perfect light for any situation. These display nicely with just an old light bulb in them but I have a strong suspicion that there were supposed to be slip shades that went in them. Both have working switches. 11 1/2" tall. 4 7/16" at the widest, extend from the wall 3 1/4" 3 1/2" counting the switch. Wiring is the old cloth covered which still looks decent but should be checked by a pro. Fixtures are cast aluminum. Art Deco hammered Bronze copper ceiling light w pr sconces 1920 chandelier
Art Deco period hammered light fixture with 5 light holders. Chain and canopy. There are also 2 matching wall sconces. They look like a cross between bronze and copper. They are far more beautiful than the pictures show. All rewired and ready to be hung. These are out of a grand home in Indiana. The chandelier measures 18" across the bottom. The body is 21" long and when you include the chain and canopy the drop is 39" It is much more attractive than the pictures show. There are no breaks, cracks or damage that I can find. It is about 20 lbs. There are also two matching sconces. The sconces measure 9 1/4" tall and 4 3/8" wide. There are no cracks, breaks or damage. The original decorative nuts for fastening them to the wall are there and the switches are operable. The back of the sconces are embossed: Halcolite Pat ... moreapplied for. These sconces were made by the Lightolier company in New York between 1920 and 1930. These are high end designer sconces and becoming very hard to find on the retail market. The shades are opalescent glass with hand painted designs. All of the shades are signed Lightolier around the fitter rim as you can see. 3 of the designs match and one is different however it is still the same model of sconce and they were originally purchased this way(it may have been for a separate room in the home) Please note. One of the shades is chipped as you can see in the last picture. This chip is on the inside edge so you can not see it at all when the sconces are mounted on the wall because the light bulb completely covers it. ... moreAll of the other lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. And you can also find replacements online. The sconces are made of cast white metal so they are heavy and will never rust. There is some minor chips in the paint of the fixtures. The paint is great too! 7" long 3.5" wide 4" deep. marked riddle co. design pat. pend. u.s.a. 794. If you study the photos close enough you can see some paint(red. Blue, green) on some points of the sconce. The sconce appears to be aluminum and has ornate decor on all sides of it. It also appears to have a golden hue on the front of the sconce.
