There you will find: TIPS TO BUYING VINTAGE LIGHTS ON EBAY WHY MY RESTORED LIGHTS ARE SPECIAL A NOTE(or two) ABOUT MY RESTORATIONS A BIT ABOUT ME Why a BUY IT NOW instead of a regular auction? I’m very pleased to offer this stunning 1930s chandelier with six custard glass shades! Each of the five arms holds an especially lovely shade. And a sixth shade is on the bottom of the fixture. Wow. The chandelier is mostly brass. And the stem is beautifully detailed. I do not know who made the chandelier. But it is of high quality. The finial. Shades, chain, and ceiling canopy are all original. Nice. The chandelier is not actually restored yet. I will finish polishing the brass. And fully rewire. The exposed wire will be cloth-covered like the original. All this will take a week after payment is made. This fixture will be shipped wholly restored and with new wiring. Ready to hang, and with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Each arm accepts standard base 60W bulbs. The center shade is lighted by two sockets; these bulbs should be 7-1/2W round appliance bulbs(higher wattage bulbs could damage the wiring the clusters above the two sockets) The brass will be polished. It will not be lacquered. The fixture is all brass save a silver disk at the top of the stem. I cannot explain the why of this. The chain. Not brass, is painted gold. COLOR: Brass. A small bit of silver(see above) Custard glass. SIZE: The fixture hangs down 32-inches and is 19-inches wide. I can remove up to 13-inches of chain; I can add chain. CONDITION: I love writing this: there’s no damage. Amazing. I will retain the original sockets. All the wiring will be new. SHIPPING: Insured shipping

And with all their original components. Including the original glass shades! The shades are really delicious. They have a frosted pattern typical. And evocative, of the 1930s. They also feature stunning cut glass flowers and leaves. The dashing horizontal lines are also cut into the glass. Yum. Surrounding each shade are nine colonial-style glass drops. The fixtures are brass. Scale-wise. The chandelier(17-inches wide) is ideal for an average- to smaller-sized room. Antique Brass Primitive Candle Arm Chandelier Arrow French Colonial Lighting
Antique primitive brass candle chandelier up for auction. I wish it was marked. I know it is old. But don't know exact age or style. The arrow reminds me of a Colonial style. The crown feathery leafy thing makes me think French. Please e-mail if known, love the history part of this. It is all brass. It would be great for a person to re-do. It needs some arms. It holds five arms but only two are present. The two there are just rotating there, not loose and free but not tight. The arrow shaft is not straight on top or bottom. Maybe someone tried to repair, I see some solder in places. The ball only has one dent and some scratching. Please check pictures good. I also love the scalloped edges just under each glass shades(and the circular cut-outs! The same scalloped detail just under the arm cluster, and on the ceiling mount. The chandelier is not restored yet. But will be shipped with all new wiring. The vertical wire will be cloth-covered like the original. The brass is now a bit dirty but will clean up beautifully.
