I’m very pleased to offer this rare and striking pair of 1930s chrome and glass sconces by Levolite. And from their After Daylight line! The glass scones are a cream colored glass. Not painted glass but solid cream glass in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It’s incredibly hard finding such a pair with their glass shades in excellent condition. They are almost always lost or broken. The sconces were made by Levolite. The company was at 184 Grand Street in NYC. The building is. Today, no doubt high-end condos. 2 narrow light bulbs included. Tested and checked working great. While such sconces would have normally been used in a bathroom. Kicky Little Single Shade Antique Light Fixture c 1930's
Great Depression Era Single Bulb Shade w/ Steel Fitter This is a fabulous pale yellow hand painted shade. It's in excellent shape except for the small chip that you can see in the photos. It has a 20" fitter that is steel and can be easily adjust to fit your height need. The shade is 7" dia x 5" h w/fitter: 20" l This single socket light will take any bulb under 100w. For your consideration I am offering a vintage chandelier that I believe dates to the 1920/30s/40s. This piece has been meticulously washed with brush and soap. Adjusted, rewired, canopy/chain polished and lacquered. Ready to install, finest quality crystal with all original prisms, no replacements. The height from top of canopy to bottom of crystal is 19" and the dome is 9" wide. This is as close to new as you could ever expect to find in a vintage basket style fixture. All wires and prism chains have been cleaned and arranged for optimum appearance and form. Chain and canopy are not plated steel but solid brass. It is a torpedo like shaped fixture that has hand painted lines through it that form a check like pattern. It has a brass top and hanging chain on it. It measures 11 inches from the brass hook on its top to the pointed shaped bottom. It is about 4 1/2 inches at its widest part. Circa 1930's. This item is in very good condition with the exception being a'dent' on the top part of the glass dome. Not sure if it could have been from it being blown glass or not but its more like a melt then anything else and its a b out a 1/2 inch wide. That said it is'not' noticeable when its hanging as it is on the top of the dome. Otherwise its in very good condition and need only cleaning and a ... morere wiring. This is a true Art Deco Luminaire lamp-light. From around the 1930's. The glass has a deep etched design of a ship with waves. It slides down into the white metal base. It dose work. Turns off and on with ease. A few imperfections- Please enlarge photo's. The sides on the bottom corner edges of the glass have chips. A thin line crack along the top row on metal base. The base sits uneven. It wobbles. It may had some kind of felt on the bottom. I would say condition is very good. It is solid and heavy. The glass is 8" x 8" 1" thick. Base is 12 1/4" x 3 1/4" With the etched glass it is 10 1/4" tall. I feel this is a hard to find piece of Art Deco. It came from a estate that has many quality antiques. 1930's Vintage Antique Ship Steering Wheel Light Fixture - Brass/Pewter
This auction is for a Vintage/Antique brass/pewter metal 1930's lighting fixture. This fixture is an original from our home that was built in the early 1930's. The measurement of the fixture is approximately 12" x 7" I do not know much about this light fixture other than it was an original fixture. The fixture appears to be brass and some sort of pewter(the ship steering wheel. The light bulb domes are made of a frosted glass. There are star"cut outs" in the brass part of the fixture that are attached to the glass domes. The glass domes are in good shape. No cracks or broken glass. The brass needs a good polishing, and the wiring is the old knob and tube wiring, so it would need to be rewired. Pair Antique Cast Iron Art Deco 1930's Vintage Outdoor Sconces Old Wall Lights
This huge pair of cast iron Art Deco sconces came from the same estate as all the other sconces we have listed this week. This pair must have come off of a commercial building such as a bank or a factory. Certainly were used on the exterior of an old commercial building. These heavy cast iron sconces have some of the best Art Deco lines of any you will find. The sconces are in generally good condition. The flat black paint as it is in really good condition so probably recent and they have no breaks, cracks or repairs. Although the one is missing its socket and the jar type adapter which I assume was to screw the shade to, it would be easy to replace with just a socket and then place the shade in the 6" fitter. You will see holes in the sides of the fitter however they have no threads. You could probably tap them for threads to put set ... morescrews to hold the shades however not really necessary as the round shade would certainly fit nicely into the fitter. These old sconces are incredible size wise. Each one measures about 13 1/2" tall with the flat sided roundish part being a good 3 1/4" diameter. Up for auction is a gorgeous pair of matching 1930's bedroom. Hallway, bathroom or parlor wall light sconces in excellent repainted condition. These are incredible Art Nouveau style sconces and have beautiful antique milkglass globes with a lot of detail. Each is 10 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 8" off the wall. Beautiful detailed castings to the metal sconces and matching details in the milglass globes. Very fancy! There are a lot of uses for these. I think they are bedroom lights but I could see these used on either side of a bathroom mirror or as very ornate hallway lamps. The milkglass gives off a very delicate glow. Original wiring is good. You will need mounting hardware which can be found at any good lighting store. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE DETAILED PHOTOGRAPHS A very nice quality chandelier. In silver plated finish/or possibly chrome. It is a three-branch light, with large cut lead crystal drops, and large glass ball underneath. It also has its very attractive original ceiling rose. It is in very nice original condition, and in working order, taking modern small bayonet fitting bulbs. It could do with a thorough clean, but as photos show displays superbly, and would grace any room setting. It measures approximately 14 inches/ 36 cm across, by 14 inches/ 36 cm in length, with the chain it is 28 inches/72 cm in length. Fully re-stored 1920's-1930's Brass Pan Chandelier, this Chandelier has 4 lights, the bulbs do not come with the Chandelier, many hours have been devoted to the polishing and restoring this old treasure, my brother is a electrican and has gone over the electrical work, included some pics, that had the original nasty patina, this was covered with 75 yrs. of varnish, cig. and cigar smoke this will come from smoke free home, i hope it goes to one. Also included some pics showing 1-2 sockets turned off, their all independant of each other or they all come on at once, this Chandelier is 100% Brass minus the 5 link chain and the steel threaded pipe that is on the inside, everything that i did paint is Brass, i went with the contrast of the Brass, felt all Brass would have been boring. Antique Vintage Lighting Art Deco Aluminum Pendant Ceiling Light Fixture 1930's
Description This listing is for a set of 10(ten) 1930's Vintage Light Fixtures. They were made by Curtis Lighting out of Chicago. As you can tell by the pictures. These fixtures are aluminum and in great shape to be from the 30's. They originally came out of a 2-story department store and have been sitting in the second story of this store ever since they replaced the lighting with florescent lights. The fixtures have been in the same store the entire time and very well cared for all these years. I have 10 of the actual large round light fixtures which if you look closely at the 10th picture. You can tell there is a gap on the under side which allows light to be reflected onto the ceiling. There may be some small area's with a few tiny rust spots, but not very noticeable as you can tell by the pictures. There are four layers and ... morea shiny top which adds to the look of the fixture itself. These measure from the base to the tip of the top approximately 8 1/2 inches. The diameter measuring from the bottom outer edge is approximately 21 3/8" wide. I have 6 of the cone shaped pieces that fit into the larger round fixture itself. They have 3 longer pieces that attach onto the cone. At the bottom of these. There is a prong which simply slips into the fixture. I am missing one of the longer pieces which attach to the cone, however, you could easily make one yourself. As you can tell by the pictures, one of them is even held on by a screw(which could be cut down more flush to make it not as noticeable) Hanging from the ceiling-it would not be noticeable at all. These measure 12 3/4" measuring from the ground standing on the 3 prongs to the tip of the cone. The cone itself measures 8 3/4" and the diameter of the smaller hole on the top of the cone measures 3/4" The widest part of the cone at the bottom measures 3 3/16" I have 6 of the ceiling fixtures that attach to the top of the ceiling. ANTIQUE LIGHT FIXTURE 1930'S CHANDELIER 5 SHADE BRONZE
This auction is for an antique light fixture that has been in my house since 1939. It was taken down probably 20 years ago and when I remounted it in a different room some 10 years ago. I noticed that there must have been PIECES MISSING in the mounting bell, however I was able to mount it using electrical tape and wire and got 10 years service out of it. IT NEEDS REWIRED since it is now down to 2 working lights. One of the shades is discolored and another looks to have a hairline crack in it. Email me with any questions. This fixture shows its age, but I have seen a lot worse and it would make an interesting piece.

For your consideration is this fabulous 1930's Tudor Lantern Ceiling light. It has it's original Frost Glass. Called this because it has the texture similar to frost forming on a window, beautifully diffuses the light. This light measures 45 3/4" long including chain and original canopy. The actual light is 17 3/4" tall. This light has been newly rewired and take one standard medium base light bulb. The condition is great, there is only minor wear and some light scratches on surface, along with some off white paint along the edges of the canopy and small droplets on the top of the light, as shown. here is a nice pair of ceiling light fixtures. I believe that they came from a house built in the 1930's. They each measure approx. 12" long. A little paint to match and they should look great.
