2 Matching Vintage Black/White Cool Swag Lamps Lights EXCELLENT Mid Century
Up for your consideration a great vintage pair of swag hanging wrought iron white crackle plastic cylinder panel lights. I think they are from the 1950s or 60s. These are tested and working and in excellent condition. The cylinder panels have no chips or cracks and the wrought iron looks almost new. They each measure 20" tall from the bottom to the top of the ring. They are 9" across. The cords are over 19' long with chain that is about 4' shorter. The plastic cover on the cords is a little brittle so you may want to replace them. These would look great in a hallway or really any room and will be a great conversation piece. Wonderfully kept Art Deco 1928 era Chandelier and 6 Matching Sconces made of solid cast iron with original paint with barely a flaw anywhere. All are stamped in iron"Moe Bridges Milwaukee Wisconsin" Three wood type candle covers need a little repair but they are solid. Everything else is superb including the paint job. I see no rust though I could have missed some surface rust its possible like where it was not painted on back.Ready to hang. Most have new wiring. There are all parts including wall screw fasteners with nice matching flower tops which were the original for the lights. Moe Bridges known for their quality craftsmanship. DESCRIPTION: A vintage pair of matching Art Deco. Sconce style, wall hung bathroom light fixtures. They are 100% Complete, 100% Original, 100% Operational! I do not know the age, but am guessing circa 1930's. They both have a round bakelight switch at their base which allows for individual control of the lights aside from any wall switch to which it may be connected. The glass cylinder"chimneys" are large enough to accomodate regular size incandescent bulbs(I photographed one of them with a 60W bulb to demonstrate it's luminescence) The sconces appear to be nickel plated. A magnet will stick to them and the plating is thick. But please note that I am not a metallurgist. There are several design indentations located at several places on each sconce, in which it offers a textured surface that is in contrast to the super sleek ... moreshine of the majority of the surface area. The chimneys are a white milk colored glass(NOT frosted) and are evenly shaped cylinders. Important dimensions: Total Height = 8 1/2 inches. Chimney Height = 5 inches. Chimney Diameter 2 3/4 inches. These 2 Paulding sconces came out of a bathroom in a old Victorian house being remodeled and had layers and layers of paint on them. I cleaned them in off the best I could. No chemicals were used. No cracks breaks or repairs. A few very tiny flea bites along the edges. Needs re-wiring. The chains are snapped off inside. Only a little shows as seen in the pictures. There were a lot of these fantastic pieces of hardware being tossed into the dumpsters. There was so much paint on everything no one knew. Unfortunate I came along too late to retrieve some hardware. Nice painted metal Victorian light fixtures! These ceiling fixtures measure 3 1/2" high. 6 1/2" in diameter. There is an elaborate ruffled collar encircling the original ceramic socket, and a lovely patina. The metal looks like brass, painted a neutral beige color with pale blue& pink raised accents. One has a pull-chain. They show paint wear from many years of use. But would polish up beautifully! Sockets appear to be in good shape(one is chipped) But of course need new wiring. 2 matching vintage French hessian lightshades. fabric on a vellum/card. These are the type which simply clip on to the light bulb. 11cm high. 10.5 cm top rim diameter. 14.5 cm bottom rim diameter. condition- On the whole. There're not bad, no splits or holes. There are a couple of dents(nothing major) and some brown staining on the inside, see pics. All the clips are good. Just a little dusty. These are'as found' and are dusty here and there but on the whole they are good with some minor cosmetic problems but no more than one should expect of such an item.

They have no chips or cracks that I could see. One is lighter in color that the other one possible from the location they were at and one may have faded more. 2 RARE matching antique chandeliers Victorian ceiling light fixture vintage lamp
I have many old fixtures listed and more on the way. This is a great find 2 matching early light fixtures both still working and look good as they are. For daily use you would want to restore the wiring. These have wear as you would expect for anything 100 years old. They are in great shape for their age and restoration would be easy for anyone that does it on a regular basis. These are made of some plaster type material so repairing would be easy you could just fill them in and sand them down. I doubt you'll ever see another set like this again. Their aren't many fixtures from this era left especially still working. The size without bulbs is about 13 inches wide. The chain is 21 inches long of course that can be changed, and the overall size with chain is currently 33 inches.

Up for auction is this pair of antique wall sconces. These lights were removed from a house that was built in 1968 in a wealthy neighborhood of Longmeadow. MA. I know nothing about antiques. Both need a good cleaning. They appear to have a few pieces missing or damaged, but mostly in tact. Each measures approx. 18" tall and 17" wide. What is pictured is what you get. If you need any additional pictures I can do so on request. If you want to pick up it will/can be intact. If I need to ship it I will have to take a lot of it apart to package for safe shipping. I have also added a few day for handling as it will take me hours to package properly. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, but again I am not an expert on these type of things.
