The bottom center of the shade is in the form of a compass. The light hangs down about six inches, and measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter. The metal portion of the fixture was custom made in our workshop. And has been finished in a metallic bronze color. This has two new porcelain sockets with new wiring, including a ground wire. The chandelier is additional adorned with thick-walled, square-shaped glass elements below the lampshadeholders as well as on the center parts. The lampshades are very elaborated, made out of molded glass and adorned with airbrushed pattern and gilded linings. Latter matches wonderful with the brass elements of the chandelier. This has normal wear to the finish you would expect but it is mostly on the bottom round disc and the price is greatly discounted so you can have it copper plated or painted or leave it as is. As you can see it is working. These are normally found installed in Banks and Upscale Homes. The FRAGILE Glass Shade has an alabaster appearance with a filigree banding surrounding the top edge. It's just beautiful to see in person. And this is a signature of a high end Gill MFG light. The shade is held to the fixture by three adjustable chains which are attached to a metal shade below the glass shade. The fixture has a aged copper finish and features fluted column sides. When Lit. A 1930's Art Deco architectural salvage Ceiling Light Fixture, complete w/ hanging switch plug. The is is an entire self contained electrical system for a room with only a ceiling drop; complete with switch and electrical outlet. In the early days of electricity. From about 1880 to 1930 and later for some, the houses were not wired for electricity. This is an entire circuit for a room with one ceiling light drop. Included is the ceiling light and glass, but also included is the original braided cord(2 feet or so) and original light and power switch that hangs from the ceiling fixture. With the one power source you could run a room from this spot. Dimensions- fixture hangs 10 inches long from ... moreceiling to bottom of glass. Glass is 7 1/2 inches in diameter; fit ring diameter for glass 4 1/8 inches; Ceiling plate 5 7/8 inch diameter; Mounting hole spacing 5 1/4 inches. The glass shade measures 10" in diameter and other than a couple of small nicks on the top rim. Has no chips or cracks. The fixture hangs about 11" measuring from ceiling to finial. The white glaze looks super, with only a few small flea bites. The fixture takes 2 standard base bulbs and no max wattage is noted on the fixture. This is a hard-wired fixture and I've not been able to test it. It appears to have all original cloth insulated wiring. In good condition. R eplacing the electrical is at the descretion of the buyer. When it was a fierce rival of Cristallerie Schneider, and its output of comparable quality. It is in a delicate peachy-pink and has a modernist design of stylized flowers and spiky fronds. There are no chips or cracks and the glaze is a pretty pale pink.There are a few small fleabites where glaze is missing- these are shown in in the 7th photo. 3 ART DECO LIGHTS LAMPS CEILING FIXTURES WALL SCONES 1930S?
Up for auction are 3 Art Deco Style ceiling or sconce flush mount lights. I am selling these for parts or restoration as they are not complete. As seen in the photos there is one ceramic socket missing from each lamp. I planned on ordering the replacemant parts and restoring the lights but went a different route. These have paint on them from someone painting around them.also fly specks ect. I have not tried to clean them. They measure end to end 12 inches and side to side 6 inches. They are not extremely heavy but a magnet does not stick to them so they may be brass.Each has the little"tassel" looking thing that goes thru the center hole to attach to the ceiling box/fixture. 1930s Vintage Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Fixture Chandelier Off-White Color
Description: This beautiful ceiling light fixture has a thick glass shade. In what I would call an off-white or ivory color. The rim of the shade and bottom center are clear. The center column is pressed glass with six new hand-cut Czech crystal prisms. Most of the metal components are new with a chrome finish, including the ceiling canopy which is adorned with a vintage decorative glass piece. The fixture hangs down 13-3/4 inches to the bottom of the shade, and measures 11-3/8 inches in diameter. This is a two-light fixture with brand new porcelain sockets and new wiring. All of the glass is in great condition. There are a couple of minor flakes on the inside of the clear rim of the shade. But they are insignificant and not noticeable. Description: This beautiful chandelier has a large. Thick glass shade measuring 16-1/2 inches wide. The shade is frosted on the inside and textured on the outside with a raised pattern. Part of the bottom of the shade is also frosted, and the rest clear. Beautiful! The clear glass center column has eight new hand-cut Czech crystal prisms. All of the glass is in fantastic condition with no chips or cracks. There is one shallow flake on the inside of one of the top scallops of the shade. This is not noticeable. Antique 1930s Art Deco Slip Shade Sconces
A very fine pair of antique. Circa 1920's, gilt white metal electric sconces with Peach iridescent chevron glass slip in shades. The Sconces are made by the Markel Electric company. They have been rewired, and have new brass turn switches. The sconces measure 10-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide, the shades 3-1/2" deep from the wall. Excellent condition: white metal without breaks or losses, original finish. The glass is without cracks though there may be a few flea bites which don't show when in sconces. Beautiful cream colored shade is 14" wide! Rewired with beautiful period correct. Gold cloth covered wire. Brand new 3 socket cluster holds up to 60 watts in each socket. Large bulbs fit! Matching ANTIQUE GLASS column is super cool and very rare! Bobeche will hold 8 crystals(not included) Brand new. Real brass hardware. except for fixture chain which is brass plated steel for strength) The 3 ball chains. Vintage ceiling cap is some kind of metal painted gold. Hangs 21" as shown but can be adjusted up or down by removing or adding chain links. Or by adjusting the length of the small chains that hold the shade in place. Materials: The fixture is made in a strict geometrical Machine Age style and completely chrome-plated. The chandelier has a big and heavy glass lampshade underneath which is adorned with a reliefed and very detailed roses decor. The four smaller lampshades have the same roses decor and each of them is signed by Muller Freres Luneville(the big lampshade isn't signed) Measurements: The total height of the chandelier is 33.5" 85 cm) The max. diameter of the chandelier is 29.5" 75 cm) The big lampshade has a diameter of 15.8" 40 cm) and a height of 4.7" 12 cm) Each of the small lampshades has a diameter of 6.3" 16 cm) ... moreThe canopy has a diameter of 5.9" 15 cm) Condition: The entire chandelier is in very good. Cool 1930s Vintage Art Deco Glass Schoolhouse Ceiling Light Fixture White Clear
Description: This ceiling fixture has a great 1930s vintage glass shade. The shade is white with clear rings and a clear bottom center that has fine concentric rings. The glass has turned a slight amethyst or"sun purple" color as it is sometimes called. Certain types of old glass can turn this color with age. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. The chrome shade holder is new. With a new porcelain socket and new wiring, including a ground wire. The light hangs down a total of 7-3/4 inches to the bottom of the shade, and measures 8-1/4 inches wide. The shade has a 4" fitter. This fixture takes a single 60 watt bulb.
