VINTAGE ART DECO SCONCE WITH AMBER CRACKLE SHADE This beautifully decorated sconce made out of bronze is in good condition. It has a V-shape with a stunning work art all over and some patina is shown; it does not have dents. Dings, cracks or any major damage, only a few superficial scratches. However it needs new wiring. The crackle shade is concave and slips into the sconce, the color amber embellishes the entire lamp, the shade has a chip on the bottom but it is not visible when is mounted on the sconce. PAIR OLD CRACKLE AMBER GLASS LIGHT SHADE BLOWN IN WIRE CAGE, GOTHIC, MEDIEVAL
You are bidding on this vintage pair of light shade. They are a very deep amber color. Carmel color. The glass is blown into a ribbed metal“cage” Very different, and ancient looking. The glass is thick with lots of texture in it. It’s a large shade. 9 1/2" tall, 7" wide, and opening at bottom 3 1/2" diameter. This shade weighs about 2 1/2 lbs each. The rim is rough around the edges as they is hand blown primitive, thick glass. There are tiny paint flecks on it, as seen in pics. Circa 50- 80 years old, in excellent condition! Original 1920's Pure Oil Co. Antique Outdoor Light with Amber Crackle Glass
RARE.Outside light for a circa 1920's Pure Oil Service Station. This is an original steel light with the cylindrical amber crackle glass shade. Fixture is about 15 1/2" tall and 6 3/4" wide and extends out from building about 9 1/2" It has been painted black over the years but I think the Pure Oil Blue enamel is still under the black. You may be able to remove the black. Condition of this light is great and was rewired in 1993 the glass however has been broken and has been glued back together and is stable at this time. You rarely ever find one of these original lights let alone the original amber shade they just don't exist anymore. Superb piece for the collector or anyone who is restoring a 1920's Pure Oil Service Station Building.
