This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. This is a beautiful old slip shade chandelier circa 1920's. The condition is excellent with minimal wear and no breaks or cracks in the glass shades. The switch and wiring are very good and could be used but should be examined for suitability of your intended use. The crystals consist of old cut lead crystal 32 PbO and have been individually wired by hand. This auction is for an Antique Art Deco 1920's Floral Ceiling Chandelier 5 Light Fixture in its Original Paint- it appears to be complete. It measures approximately 15 1/2" wide by approximately 21 1/2" tall including the chain and the ceiling cap. It has some corrosion on the metal and it needs rewired- there are no broken or repaired pieces. it would clean up better with a professional cleaning- I just cleaned off the surface dirt and left it how it came out of the estate.

It is a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. Circa 1920-1930, but please make up your own mind about this. The light measures approx 10 inches(250mm) tall by 5 inches(125mm) in diameter. It is modeled as an inverted flame. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. This is a fine example of its type and it would make a beautiful decorative piece. Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. Stunning Art Deco Glass Globe Pan Light-Circa 1920- This was an original fixture in the townhouse attached to the old"Morrie's" Grocery store in Delaware. Ohio built around 1920. The chandelier has been completely cleaned. Repaired, and rewired, including vintage cloth wiring. It also has antique fat boy ceramic sockets that have been inspected renewed and fitted with new insulators. The top of the sockets have a patten date of July, 14th 1914. I always try to work with what a piece gives me. This one had great patina on the bobeches and the ornate arms for the hanging lights. The globe of course was the center piece. The globe is a light pink with etched filagree and three beautiful soft green Roman Venus's evenly spaced around the glass. I accented the pan body with five hand layered colors with the dominant color being ... moreantique sage green. This worked great with the exisiting patina and brought out the colors in the globe as well. I put enough color and finish on it to bring out the stunning detail but left much of the great patina as found. Includes original matching ceiling cap. The pictures tell the story. I have had a number of these and the wiring in these particular lamps is always a dangerous mess. They are hard to wire because of the bends in the arms and the switches and sockets. So what i usually see is a spliced taped dangerous patch job leaving the old cloth wires in the arms and up to the mogul socket. I included a picture of this lamp on the bench showing a FULL updated and safe wiring job. Disassembled cleaned polished and repaired. Most of this lamp is solid cast brass not plated! These sconces were made by the Lightolier company in New York between 1920 and 1930. These are high end designer sconces and becoming very hard to find on the retail market. The shades are opalescent glass with hand painted designs. All of the shades are signed Lightolier around the fitter rim as you can see. 3 of the designs match and one is different however it is still the same model of sconce and they were originally purchased this way(it may have been for a separate room in the home) Please note. One of the shades is chipped as you can see in the last picture. This chip is on the inside edge so you can not see it at all when the sconces are mounted on the wall because the light bulb completely covers it. ... moreAll of the other lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. LARGE Antique 1920 Art Deco Ceiling Light Macbeth Evans Monax Skyscraper Shade
Here we have a great rare 1920s Art Deco ceiling fixture. The milk glass shade is marked"U.S. Pat. Jan. 1920 Macbeth Monax Made in USA" The shade alone is about 11 inches long and about 12 inches in diameter at it's widest. The ceiling fixture has an interesting way of locking the shade in place as you can see from the photos. There is some slight rusting to the metal of the fixture and there is some paint on it as you can see. It would also need to be rewired but that should be a simple task. The shade and the fixture are about 16 inches long. The mouth of the shade is about 6 inches in diameter and has some slight chipping around that edge. This is a rare Lincoln flush light. These are very hard to find and took a considerable amount of time to procure in this condition. It even has the original pull chain connector which I've never seen unbroken and makes it extremely rare to have original to the piece. These can go for $40 easily by themselves. This flush mount light was made in the 1920's by the Lincoln mfg company. It measures14x6.5 in across and are 6" deep. The light has been completely stripped and meticulously painted by hand in silver. Cream, and antique metallic copper. It has also been rewired and ready to install with no extra pieces needed! Antique Flat Black Iron& Gold Leaf Chandelier 1920's Dramatic Tudor. Gothic, Art Deco Removed from 1920's Tudor Cottage Uses 6 Standard Base bulbs. We used 40 watt chandelier bulbs on a dimmer. Looked great! Stamped 0128 and PAT. on each leaf inside. Each leaf seems to be made of Brass. But when you look at the inside of fixture where the stampings are, metal is bronze in color. Ornate Pair Brass Antique Wall Sconce Art Deco 1920's
I recently renovated an old 1920 two story house that had almost all original period lighting. I removed 22 old fixtures of which the majority was still working at the time of removal. These wall sconce fixtures came out of the parlor on the first floor. These fixtures are made of brass. 8 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" wide and has 4 1/2" profile/from the wall. Each fixture has a paddle key socket; one made by GE and the other by Webber. Not sure which one has had the socket changed from originality although they are both Fatboy sockets. The room these sconces came from did not have electricity turned on. Therefore these fixtures are being sold as is with the expectation that the lights will be refurbished to todays electrical standards by the purchaser. They may or may not be functional at this time. The fixtures are in the condition ... morethat they were removed and both have dirt and paint on them. Overall appearance of the condition of the pair is excellent. No dings or cracks in the metal. The brass finish is in exceptional condition for their age but does show wear-please see all pictures. Both have a heavy brass arm that support the hanging sockets which have threaded ends for a screw on UNO fitter to hold a glass shade. They are 95 years old(as the age of the house implies) and ready for restoration and then service in your home. Please email any questions. Gorgeous antique crystal chandelier. It has 4 lights on the arms. 1 light in the center. This chandelier has very large rare crystal prisms, I have never seen crystals like these before. It has venetian flowers, and 2 art glass balls one at the top and the other at the bottom. The wiring is in decent shape, with a plug in clear 15 ft cord! This way if you do not have someone to hardwire it, you can simply plug it in, hang on a properly installed ceiling hook and enjoy, instant glamour! The color is gold. The chandelier is decorated with 157 2.5 inch old fire polished bohemian crystals. The crystals have had new brass bow tie connector pins added on. This fabulous. OLD, chandelier is mostly Decorative ornate Brass with an art nouveau/ art deco/ almost oriental look to it.The center piece is made of Bakelite?Catalin- which is highly unusual and has to be from the earliest of days of Bakelite/Catalin. It has 5 lighting arms that are marked Leviton patent pending. I can find no other marks on it. It is heavy and weighs about 12.5 pounds. I only suppose this is made of Brass because it does have some light tarnishing. It also has green and red paint on some of the floral elements of the design. Antique 1920's Lincoln Art Deco 5 Light Slip Shade Lamp Light Fixture Chandelier
Gorgeous signed Lincoln 5 light slip shade chandelier. Was produced in Detroit. Michigan in the mid to late 1920's. This old lamp retains all of its original Fleurette pattern glass shades. The metal parts of the fixture are cast aluminum with gold accents. The gold shows some normal and expected wear, no breaks, cracks or missing pieces. Chains are original so expect some finish loss with light oxidation, nothing horrible. There are some flea bites on the shades, most of which are of course where is slips into the fitter however I noticed a couple of shades that have tiny flakes from around the edges that are exposed but this part faces the ceiling s you'll never see them once hung. Wiring is original and looks fine but may not meet code in your area. The light can be turned off and on by a switch located in the center of the bottom. ... moreI didn't actually test the lamp but the switch snaps crisply as it should so I see no reason why it shouldn't work. There are no breaks or cracks in any of the components. This is a beautiful example that displays very nicely. Lincoln was one of the best makers at the time and can be compared to the quality found in Miller, Markel, Paramount, Beller and other quality manufacturers of the Art Deco period. Hangs about 43" from the ceiling which can of course be adjusted by adding or removing links. Metal frame about 10 1/2" wide. With the shades in place, its about 16" wide. STUNNING ANTIQUE HAND CRAFTED CHANDELIER: Beatiful finish in deep antique brass with bronze high lights. Meticulous restoration with attention to all details. Finish. Wiring, candle covers, and sockets are all new. Look is vintage 1920's with some distressing and subtle use of dark pigments to add an aged appearance. Mostly solid brass, center of lamp body is cast metal, all other pieces are brass. This is a nearly one hundred year old fixture so expect some minor defects as you would with any piece this age. New period correct cloth wiring runs through chain to ceiling cap. She is fully functional and ready to install including all needed mounting hardware. Ready for another 100 years!
