This listing is for a PAIR OF ANTIQUE ART DECO SLIP SHADE WALL SCONCES W/ AMBER FROSTED SHADES IN ORIGIONAL FINISH REWIRED.The metal sconce has a nickle platted finish. One shade is in good condition with a few minor inside edge chips. the other shade is about 90% cracked thru. Previous owner said a glass person glued the crack so it wouldn't come apart.I am selling this as is with one good shade and one bad shade.The electrical components were replaced for safety. The length is about 11 inches with shade. About 7 in width and extends about 4 1/2 inches from wall. The shade is 1 3/8 inches at base and 5 inches at top. Sides are 5 inches long. Antique Vintage 1920's Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture-5 Amber Slip Glass Shades
This is a beautiful old slip shade chandelier circa 1920's. The condition is excellent with minimal wear and no breaks or cracks in the glass shades. The switch and wiring are very good and could be used but should be examined for suitability of your intended use. The total diameter of the fixture is 18" and 26" tall including the chain(the body is 14" tall and the chain section is 12" long. Each glass shade is approximately 6" in diameter. Thank you!

Normally such globes are meant for a hall or foyer and are 6- to 8-inches across. These globes are a mammoth 12-inches ... morewide. And were intended for a living or dining room. When the fixtures are lighted at night they throw astonishing patterns on the ceiling and walls. Really. Quite riveting. Wouldn’t it be great to see the pair sorta close together over a rectangular/oval dining table? Wow. A great look. Or hanging low above the side tables on each side of your living room sofa? Or perhaps hanging low over the night-tables in your bedroom? Each globe has a cylindrical perforated tube inside which diffuses the bulb. The amber glass has dazzling honeycomb patterns. Too. Just incredible when lighted. The fixtures are intended as mood lighting and will create the ideal atmosphere for drinking martinis and listening to your Magnavox Hi-Fi. THE BACK STORY: I believe the fixtures were originally swag lights. You know. The chain hung from a hook on the ceiling, and swagged over to a wall plug. At some point the fixtures were, I believe, converted to hardwire directly to a ceiling box. I suspect as such because the ceiling canopies which came with the fixtures were clearly not original(and didn’t look right) I replaced these canopies with cast brass canopies more in keeping with the metal c

Great Vintage Antique Pair Tudor Bungalow Porch Light Sconces Amber Glass
For your consideration is this magnificent pair of antique Tudor style porch lights. This pair of copper lights was made between 1915 to 1920. Note the wonderful detailing on the lights. And the great hanger style backplates. The lights measure 14 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" across and stand out from the wall 10 1/2" The access doors are on the side and both working well, with latches that hold well. The textured amber glass is original and in good condition, no cracks or broken panes. The sockets are porcelain and take standard Edison base light bulbs. The wonderful aged finish is natural, but been given a clear coat to protect and enhance the lights. This is a wonderful pair of vintage metal Mission Arts and Crafts style Porch/Bungalow lights. Not an expert on material but I did a magnet test& it DOES NOT adhere to the metal. These are ceiling hanging fixtures with stunning caramel-colored slag glass panels. The slag glass even has a gorgeous iridescence to it. The tops look like they are riveted. The light sockets inside are still intact& usable. The sockets feel& look like porcelain. The wiring is CLOTH original to the fixtures and is still intact. Was told at the estate sale lights were hanging in place and working just fine, however, you might want to have an electrician to check them over since it still has the antique cloth wiring. Both fixtures are in exceptionally good condition for the age. Appears to have been in their original location and hung there for many many ... moreyears. The textured amber glass I was told is original to the fixtures and ALL PANELS are in good condition with no cracks or breaks. I did notice one of the panels are inserted in reverse and probably hung that way unnoticed. Also the cap that hugs the ceiling is missing on one but should be an easy replacement. Vintage Mid Century Green Electric Plug In Hanging Lamp w/ Amber Colored Glass Globes and Glass Prisms. This Lamp or Light works great and would be an asset to anyone's vintage home decor. Please look at all pictures and read item description. Here is what to expect as far as condition and is what was written above: Vtg Used Condition. Might need more cleaning. It has been cleaned lightly for pictures but might need a little more. It is missing one of its original nuts on top. We have replaced it with another one as seen in pictures. The prisms could stand to be rewired and attached to the lamp. The wire has gotten old that holds them onto the lamp and sometimes they break off due to the brittle metal wire. So rewiring the prisms is a must eventually. It isn't missing any of its prisms. You might see some minor scratches to the paint ... morebut none that is just awful or takes away from the lamp. The goldtone chain might have some fading to the plating but really looks good for its age. I don't see any rust on the chain at all. Please look at all pictures to determine if you agree with my interpretaion of the item's condition before you purchase. Also read below about the size. Weight, and shipping in the items description. We bought two of these fixtures in an antique shop that closed in Chicago about 15 years ago and we were told they were European. Measures approximately 11¾" tall to the top of the hanger finial. 10¾" tall to the peak of the side panels and 6" wide at the widest point. Overall condition is good. The glass panels are free from chips or cracks, the metal fixture is damage-free, somewhat oxidized with a scuff here and there, original functional electrical components, a damage-free approximately 108" long original direct plug cord with metal chain that is heavily oxidized.please see pictures. Original 1920's Pure Oil Co. Antique Outdoor Light with Amber Crackle Glass
RARE.Outside light for a circa 1920's Pure Oil Service Station. This is an original steel light with the cylindrical amber crackle glass shade. Fixture is about 15 1/2" tall and 6 3/4" wide and extends out from building about 9 1/2" It has been painted black over the years but I think the Pure Oil Blue enamel is still under the black. You may be able to remove the black. Condition of this light is great and was rewired in 1993 the glass however has been broken and has been glued back together and is stable at this time. You rarely ever find one of these original lights let alone the original amber shade they just don't exist anymore. This is a beautiful vintage chandelier. It is in excellent used condition and comes from a smoke free home. The large globe measures about 14 1/2" in diameter and is about 9 1/2" tall. The small globe is about 6" in diameter and about 6" tall. The total height of the chandelier is about 25" It hangs from a chain so you can adjust it some to fit your home. This auction is for a lovely pair of brass hanging parlor lamps. The shade is a dark amber and is the stretched coin dot pattern. The brass is nicely detailed and has a nice aged patina. The Brass oil reservoir is in good condition. No rusting. The top and bottom fitter rim has flowers all the way around it. Lamp has a top ceiling plate and chains. The Amber glass shade is 5-3/4" tall, top diameter is 6" bottom diameter is 13-3/4" From bottom of oil reserve to where three chains come together is 25" One lamp has a 20" chain and the other has a 30" chain. Antique-Vintage Light Fixture Irrdescent Amber Globes, All parts in picture
Antique Vintage Light Fixture Parts I do not know if this makes one complete fixture. I do not know if all the parts are there. So I took pictures of each of the peices. There are many components. The metal is a light weight One of the globes or sconces have a fleck of paint and glass missing near the top. You won't be able to see once installed. see picture) No cracks The globes are heavy glass measuring 4 5/8" long.The top of the globe nearest the light bulb measures just over 2 1/8" lip to lip. The edge of the globe is scalloped and the opening is 4 3/4" wide The exterior of the glass is kind of frosted. The interior is irridescent and gives off hints of pink and blue/green The globes/sconces are heavy duty and weigh 11.6 oz. Any cleaning that needs to be done is up to the buyer! Set 3 antique vtg amber Art Deco slipper slip chandelier light fixture shades
3 matching 1930's slipper shades. Not a super rare pattern but a great find none the less. One is perfect. One has a chip on the tab that will not show(see photo 3) and one has a chip on the side where it does show(see photo 4) As with all slipper shades I do not list measurements because you really need to know what shade you are looking for since these fit just one family of lights.
