All new modern sockets and wiring but with high quality brass casting and design. This is a large fixture and the pictures may not convey the scale. It measures 63" tall x 33" wide. It is perfect for a Victorian entryway or stairway. You would need tall ceilings for this one. Check out the pictures. The detail is beautiful. Cast Griffins and torches are right out of the 1800's. This fixture is not marked but in excellent condition. The 5 brass arms have gas key turns and nice solid brass shade holders in a period style. Shades are hand tooled glass. The design on each shades is of flowers and trees repeating around the base. The shades are French and marked"CVV Vienna and Made in France" They have a wonderful blue tint at the ruffle rimmed top. Each measures 8 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" tall. Perfect scale for this size chandelier. Up for auction is an antique gas light double arm fixture recently found at auction in the Syracuse. NY area. It is found in good to very good used condition. It is quite heavy and ornate in form. The arms are in good shape as well. This hardware has a nice gold wash, with green hues. I believe it to be brass or bronze in form. This piece measures approximately 18 1/2" x 5" in size. VICTORIAN 1800s ANTIQUE CHANDELIER RESTORED BRASS GAS LIGHT ETCH GLASS SHADES
This chandelier is a beauty! Formerly a gas light. It is fully restored and electric addes. The only imperfection is a slight chip on one of the etched shades as shown in the close up picture. You will also note that the edges of the shades vary slightly even though they appear to be just alike. The chandelier measures approximately 31 1/2" tall by 32 inches wide. Local pickup would be the best scenario but will work with the buyer if shipping is necessary. This is a very old chandelier and the glass shades are original.

Antique Victorian Gas/Electric Brass Wall Sconce~Acorn Pull Chain~Hubbel~Flowers
Beautiful little sconce. And has a very unique acorn finial on the pull chain. The set screws on the pierced top fitter are pretty little flowers, and all three are present. It was in use in our 1891 home until just recently when we opened up a wall to the reading nook it was in to make a master bath. I suspect it was there from when the house was wired to replace the gas lights. Our town. Bellefonte, was the second town to be electrified after Edison's home town! The sconce is wired and ready to go. But please an electrician or knowledgeable person double check the wiring to your satisfaction since it is not a new piece. The wiring is cloth covered, but doesn't look original, so may have been rewired more recently. The piece is marked 250V Hubbel 250W on the socket. And Pat Applied For on the arm. I polished it about 4 years ago, ... moreand it has mellowed to a lovely light brass patina. Measures about 7" protrusion from the wall to the far edge of the fitter. 4-1/2" wide round backplate, and has an outside diameter of 2-3/8" on the fitter. This auction is for the sconce only. Antique Brass Gas Wall Sconce Roses Art Nouveau Lamp Candlestick Holder
Up for sale is an Antique Solid Brass Gas Wall Sconce features a rose design. Looks like a bouquet of roses. There are 2 tubes that lead to the large open roses, which thread onto the tubes. The front features a hole where a knob would be mounted to control the flames. There are a total of 2 gas burners, it could be used as candlestick holders or even be converted to make a really nice wall accent lamp. It is approximately 21"T x about 12 1/2"W, and total it stands approximately 4" from the wall, so I would say 4" deep. This is a really intricate and realistic casting, note the detail work on the closed buds and on the leaves. This is a very quality piece, and very solid and heavy, it weighs almost 6 lbs. It was made in the late 1800's to early 1900's and is of an Art Nouveau style. This would make a lovely accent ... morein any home or garden. this is a rare exquisite antique victorian bronze wall mount candle holder sconce. It was once a gas sconce and could still be concerted back. But was turned into this wonderful candle holder and very high quality. it has exquisite ornate detailing and holds 2 candles. it is made from thick heavy bronze and has a wonderful patina from age. it is highly embossed with beautiful scroll work. And foliage patterns. it measures 12 1/2 x 11 inches and sits 7 1/2 inches from the wall. it is in good shape and can be wired with electricity also if desired. it has new hardware in the back but does not take away from the piece. i believe the middle arm knob is the on/ off gas hook up. very rare victorian sconce. Antique 19thC Style Beaux Arts Louis XVI Gas Electric Brass Chandelier
This is a magnificent Beaux Arts style chandelier circa mid-century. It is very heavy and made from solid brass. It measures 32" in overall length and 22" in maximum diameter. The body is approximately 12" in diameter, includes glass globes(which are removable) Excellent overall condition with minimal tarnish. The four brass globe spiders are patent dated 1890 and 1896. Up for sale is a gorgeous antique gas brass wall sconce. It has been converted to electric. But it is a vintage/antique original conversion, with the original cotton wires from the early 1900's. Stamped with the maker"Crescent B.M. Co Pat'd" on the back(there is also a patent number but it is unreadable to me) I would caution any buyer who purchases to please rewire for safety reasons. Those wires are not considered safe anymore, needs new wires if going to be used. Also needs a switch. Is in good condition, with only one notable issue. It appears that at one point there was a decorative accent on the top, it has been snapped off, it looks like it never had been there in the first place, so the break happened in a natural looking place. Electric sockets have cardboard candle sticks covering the hardware, they slide off, ... morefor easy removal and access to the wires. The wiring is easy to access, so easy to replace. This chandelier is original and early. Circa 1900-1910 made when no one was sure if electricity was going to stay around and be reliable. It is original made to use both gas and electricity. The 3 glass shades that point downward are for electricity; and the 3 glass shades that point up are for gas, also those arms have the gas shut off valves. This as found chandelier was recently removed from a house built in 1896 and it appears to be all original. The fixture measures 33” tall x 18” x 10” and is all brass with ¾” diameter stem. 5” diameter canopy and lots and lots of finely cast brass ornament in the French Rococo flavor. It retains original surface color overall and boats an outrageous asymmetrical design with twisting gas arms flanking a 3 ¼” drop shade holder, presumably for a stalactite shade. Absolutely fantastic pair of antique Brass Nautical Mermaid Ship Gas Lanterns! The former owner of these lanterns indicated that they were removed from an old ship. In decent antique condition with some patina and the surfaces are in need of cleaning. There are some blemishes on the surfaces which are expected with age. The back plate mounts to the wall and then the mermaid and lantern are detachable from the backplate for easy filling of the Lantern with gas or kerosene. Missing the glass pieces to the top of the sconces. Easy to find replacements that will fit! Does not include screws but some brass screws would look really nice and are easy to find! 1800's Antique Brass/Bronze Gas Lamp Wall Sconce Figural Fixture Winged Angel
Listing is for an antique gas wall sconce. Made of brass or bronze. A magnet does not stick. Measures 40 1/2" tall, and extends out approximately 27" at farthest point. This does have some issues, there are no mounting brackets or bolts/screws, and no globes, just the main sconce body as shown in the photo(s) There are 3 mounting holes(See 6th photo) which are not perfectly aligned, I thought the top was out of line, but closer looking now and it appears that all 3 mounting holes are not properly aligned. Must have been dropped at some point, so will need to be bent back into alignment. A previous owner has attached 2 triangle shaped loops for hanging/mounting to a wall, I'm guessing one of these was/is the gas line, as I see no other holes. One of the two burners, the stem coming from the main body to the bottom of the top ... moreburner mount is misshapen/bent, should be an easy bend back, this shows in the photos. I'm presuming this is a gas fixture, as the burners are hollow inside, see next to last photo. I'm guessing age to be Victorian era. I see no marks as to maker. But it is very detailed and could be marked somewhere I overlooked. This is very heavy, weighs almost 30 pounds without packing. Thank you for viewing. Being offered is an antique 2 light gas ceiling fixture that has been converted for use as an electric light fixture. It measures 27" in total height and 20 1/2" wide across the shade rings. The shade rings(holders) are made to hold shades that have a 2 1/4" fitter edge. The fixture is made of solid brass which is in very good condition. There are some small spots in the lacquer finish which are of no concern but need to be noted. The wiring is in very good condition as are the standard size keyless sockets. A fixture bar for hanging is included. No bulbs are included. The antique glass shades are included and measure 3 3/4" in height and have 2 1/4" fitter edges. There are no chips or cracks.
